At the glacier, Alyssa took over, and I have never met anyone so excited about ice; her enthusiasm was contagious. Holly from PicTours Alaska and Chris, our glacier hike guide, were wonderful. Holly kept us well informed and narrated along the way to Matanuska Glacier. This was my second trip to Alaska and was supposed to be my redemption. It exceeded my expectations! Hunter is super knowledgeable, funny, and made things so fun for the whole group. Beautiful day lovely drive to the glacier and the guide Philip from Pic Tours was very friendly and accommodating. The Glacier tour itself was great and again everything ran very smoothly. The glacier itself was amazing and as my first experience I would recommend. The information given by both the guides was very knowledgeable. Philip from Pic Tours was very knowledgeable and added a lot more knowledge.
The Matanuska Glacier tour with Patrick was an absolute highlight! Patrick was wonderful, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. He even took extra time to share fantastic photography tips that completely elevated our pictures. Highly recommend!

Experience was amazing. All the tour was great thanks to James our guide from PickTours. He explained to us pretty well all the city highlights on the way to the glaciar. Karaoke singing in the roadtrip was great. Glaciar is a must go, is beautiful.

He accompanied us to the glacier and made sure everything went smoothly. Once we arrived, we were joined by our glacier guide, Ana, who shared fascinating information about the glacier and helped us better understand this incredible place. We truly enjoyed this adventure and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Alaska. It was a beautiful and unforgettable experience!

James our tour guide gave a great tour. The tour included a pick up from the convention center and a ride to the glacier view . On the way, James provided many tidbits about the Alaskan landscape and generally very fun to be around. On the glacier hike James also doubled up as an excellent photographer and provided some great photography tips. Overall a great experience .

We had so much fun with the tour! We were a family of 9 and had private pick up which was very convenient since we had little ones ages 3,4 and 8! Our tour guide Aaron was great! We learned a lot from him! He was on time, fun, friendly and very passionate about what he does. We would definitely book with this operator again!!

This glacier hike was truly one of the most awe‑inspiring outdoor experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we stepped onto the ice, I was struck by the immense scale and raw beauty of the landscape. The route itself was well paced and incredibly rewarding. We loved our guide and even did the Wilderness and Wildlife Tour on a different day with PicTours Alaska which was also great!
The excursion to the Glacier is something you should not miss, especially if your guide is James who was very fun and was always looking out for the group and our belongings
