I went on the aurora tour by myself and honestly had the best time. The guide knew exactly where to find the best viewing spots, so I got to see an amazing display on the first try. They also took tons of professional photos for me and the quality was insane. Super friendly, super smooth, and totally worth it.

I traveled to Fairbanks hoping to see the northern lights, and I originally thought that staying at Chena Hot Springs Resort would almost guarantee a good view of the aurora. However, even after spending two nights at Chena—barely sleeping and watching the sky all night—I couldn’t see the aurora at all. I was getting anxious and disappointed, but then I came across an aurora chasing tour operated by a Korean owner and immediately booked it. On the day of the tour, Manager David came directly to my hotel to pick me up, which was very convenient. Usually, the aurora appears after 10 PM, but David checked the conditions and told us, “Tonight, it looks like the aurora might show up earlier.” So we met at 9:30 PM and headed straight to the viewing point. His judgment was absolutely spot-on. As soon as we arrived at the spot, the aurora appeared immediately, and multiple auroras started dancing across different parts of the sky at the same time. It was an unforgettable and breathtaking moment. After two sleepless nights at Chena with no luck, seeing the aurora instantly during the tour felt almost unbelievable. David also took lots of photos for us, so I was able to keep beautiful memories both in my eyes and in pictures. He was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive throughout the entire tour. This became the most memorable moment of my trip, and I truly highly recommend this aurora chasing tour if you want to make sure you see the northern lights.

We traveled to Fairbanks for our elopement and to chase the northern lights. Unfortunately, the night that we booked the tour, the weather was very cloudy. We were given the option to refund, reschedule, or still try for that night. Our flight back home was at 1:45 AM the next night, so we informed the host that we would love to try again but had a flight home. They offered to drop us back off at the pick up point to make our flight, we agreed! David was an amazing guide. He was so kind, hospitable, and a great photographer. He went out of his way to assist us with finding our lost rental car key. We were SO thankful for him. The moon was nearly full, so the lights were pretty obstructed, but we did get a glimpse and some very good photos! The photos were sent to us less than 24 hours later. We plan to revisit Fairbanks in the future, and will definitely choose this group again.

It was so great experience to see Aurora visiting to Fairbanks. I can see snowing in October. The tour guide, David explained the history, culture, foods of Alaska and knew well how to find out Aurora!

You have to love it when you get lucky and the stars align. It’s been days between sightings but we were blessed last night to fulfill a dream to see the northern lights. All I can say is wow and thanks to David our wonderful guide. David is great and did not disappoint. we were viewing the beauty of the borealis within 20 minutes of his picking us up. This is amazing highly professional. Our guides David great guy; He holds 18 years of experience is the best he found on the lights in the cloudy bleak rainy weather. I was surprised.. They even gave me a option to reschedule but as i was leaving the next day I chose to go for it.

Though the index was excellent it was a very cloudy night and David , our tour guide, took us to multiple spots to get a good view. He really tried and the magic happened at the last spot. We had a good sighting of the Aurora and our group was so delighted! Thanks to David for being persistent!

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! It is the first time we see the aurora! We booked for Thursday night but we found out 2 days earlier that it would be cloudy on Thursday night, so we called to seek the possibility to change to Wednesday night, which is sunny day. And thanks to the flexibility, we go the chance to see the aurora!

Totally recommended! It was an amazing experience, they pick up you in your hotel, you have the photo service and they know where to go to see the northern lights. This was a great tour. This was not a lot of frills just straight to Aurora chasing. We met our driver at 10:45pm. There was a lot of communication and I appreciate that. We stopped at 3 different spots. The second spot that we stopped at was amazing. Joe was a great photographer and made sure everyone got pictures with the lights. The only thing I did not like was getting back into the vehicle to warm up. The lights would come on and would be very distracting.

We were satisfied with our your guide David. He was very patient in taking us to different spots to get a view of the Northern Lights. It took us 4 places before we finally got to witnessed the amazing Aurora Borealis.

I took two tours with Chasing Lights: the Minibus chasing the Northern Lights (with Bailey and Amad) and the Artic fjord road trip (with Andrea and Nathalia). Both were excellent, as the guides and drivers were very committed to offering the best experience to each person in the group. Thankfully we were able to see the aurora all night long and got back to Tromso at 3:00am. I highly recommend both tours.

We again moved up our tour date because the weather was clear and good aurora activity was expected. David took us to areas where we saw the lights dance in new and totally unexpected ways. It was completely different from the previous night. Spectacular! What sets his tours apart is his passion about aurora photography because he enjoys the Northern Lights as much as his clients. Abigail is nice, making sure am okay when getting out of the van (6 people in a van) good gesture because am a senior with a some unsteadiness at times. This tour has their own photographer and took several photos of everyone with their own camera that will be downloaded in 3 days for everyone, actually I saw several photos already the next day of the tour. Luckily, we saw the auroras in 2 different viewing spots , we did not go very far from the city of Fairbanks to see it.

Our guide David was great. He chased the lights til we found them - twice. He took lots of photos of each of us in the group, and several of just the lights with no people in them. He was professional, friendly and made sure we each had a good experience. If you want a northern lights guide, go with David!

David took us to several locations to male sure that we were able to get the best view possible. The pictures he took were also amazing!

Really enjoyed this tour! Highly recommend "chasing" rather than just sitting in a lodge. If the weather is not the best, you have an option to change to another day. We had great weather to start the tour and got some amazing dark sky photos with all the stars. Then the aurora popped out and got great photos of that as well. Had some clouds so moved on to other spots. They have so much technology to check on weather and clouds in different destinations. Had a great tour guy who also helped us a lot figuring out our cameras. Be ready for a long night, few bathrooms stops and dress for the weather. So worth the time and money

We traveled to 5 different locations but unfortunately the weather did not clear up to allow us to view the Northern Lights. David did a good job of driving to different locations trying to find a visible location.

Our photographer and guide David brought us to 3 sites to see the lights. All of it was beautiful and he was so enthusiastic about get great pictures of us and for us.

Our driver/tour guide/chaser/photographer David completely turnned an impossible event to an amazing night (it was very cloudy and snowed earlier in the day). He drove very carefully, and patiently looked for a clear sky for the Aurora observation. He knows about all the good locations around the city, and willing to share all the photography tips. A++++

This was the second time I have done this tour, taking my granddaughter to see what I had witnessed the previous March with my sisters. David was our guide both times and he was delightful. Wonderful way to see this spectacular sight.

David was so amazing! He stopped at different points when he noticed the lights. Even during a day of full moon, kp only of 3, he found them! And they were so clear, you could see them dancing and moving, and there was a band of pink with the green aurora. Though the Aurora is not guaranteed, David made sure to look carefully as he kept driving, and kept looking at the forecast so that we wouldn't miss it. None of my other aurora viewing tour guides worked as hard as he did to find them. He also took so many professional pictures of everyone in the group, evenly and they get shared to the entire group. Highly recommended!

We had the most wonderful and knowledgeable tour guide (David). He cared that everyone was able to see and get great photos of a spectacular aurora. He took photos of the trip's participants against a backdrop of the beautiful skies, too.

This tour was really great. We were truly chasing the aurora. The skies were overcast. Then at one point he pulled over and we were told to immediately get out of the SUV. There it was dancing in the sky. He took numerous photos from a variety of angles of all 12 participants and placed them in drop box. Everyone went home happy!

You don't need a tour to visit Cleary Summit to see the Northern Lights. Just drive up there. There is a beautiful viewing area where you can park and wait for the lights to show up. We spent 3 hours and got a magnificent view of the Aurora. Just look at the Aurora forecast web site and plan your trip accordingly. You won't be disappointed.

After trying to see Aurora in Anchorage, I discovered it wasn't easy, and then I went on a Fairbanks Aurora Chasing Tour. The kp index is also important to see Aurora, but we also know that the weather is very important, so choose a good day for the forecast during the period in Alaska and book that day. All questions were answered kindly, and the chairman of the chasing day was kindly guided and took a lot of photos. Thanks to it, we made unforgettable memories and returned home. Thank you! I came to Fairbanks with my family for a trip to Aurora. We applied for Aurora Chasing and departed under Mr. David's insole. Starting with the expectation that there was no chance of seeing Aurora, Mr. David went through many places without giving up for a long time until dawn and finally saw Aurora that would never be forgotten.
