We loved the tour! We came from Brazil to see the Northern Lights and the team at Arctic Nights provided us with a wonderful night, where besides getting to see lots of auroras, we still took all the photos we wanted and were very well treated with snacks and a delicious dessert to take home at the end of the tour. To top it off, the guides are so energetic! They truly love what they do, it's impossible not to be catch the vibe, making the experience even more memorable. I highly recommend it!

Highly recommend this one for seeing the Aurora!! Exceeded expectations! Elena and Ed are highly skilled, knowledgeable and very motivated to do what they can so that we could experience the beauty of Aurora. We stopped at more than one place to see them which I appreciated that they wanted to take us further out for even better views. Very professional, organized, and kind, kept us informed about what to expect and getting picked up from our hotel. I always felt safe with them driving 2 vans together. They took beautiful photos and videos using their professional cameras for everyone and later sent them to us. They had plenty of snacks and water for everyone. The gifts at the end were very unexpected and so thoughtful, including the delicious chocolate cake! I’ll always remember this experience as one of the highlights and best moments I have experienced in my travels.

Elena and Ed were simply amazing, the night when no other tour guide would dare to step out because of the storm, they took us out for an amazing dancing Aurora shows, one of the best night ever, so many amazing photos, we were tired of posing for the photos but they never got tired of clicking it for us. The best experience to watch the auroras in Fairbanks: nice conversations, a wide knowledge about the lights, they know exactly where to go and what I loved the most is their contagious happiness when seeing the lights appear. Some snacks are provided, but something as hot coffee would be 11/10. Be ready for the cold nights and to see a spectacle in the dark sky. Thank you for your kindness and generosity, guys. I felt very welcome. (Still waiting for the pictures to arrive, but I am pretty sure they will be amazing!)

The BEST!! If you only have one tour agency to book for your aurora chase, I'd highly recommend Arctic Night Tours. I did two nights with them and they tried their best to find the best place to see the northern lights. On one night, we needed to drive more than 3 hours (one way) just so we can see the aurora and able to reach Fairbanks at 5AM. Elena and Ed are very knowledgeable and I really admire that they are very enthusiastic whenever the northern lights show up even though they've seen it many times already. Also, other agencies charge extra for photos/edited photos but Arctic Night Tours price already includes the photos (lots of them) and they are beautifully taken. Book it!

It was an amazing experience. The guides did everything in their power to get us to the right place, at the right time, and made sure we got our money worth, our time worth, and are expectations above and beyond what we expected. It was such a memorable experience, one we will forever treasure and never forget! We are beyond grateful to our guides Ed and Elena.

Elena and Ed were fantastic! They picked us up in a comfortable, spacious, and warm van and drove us away from the city to a beautiful spot by a lake to watch the Northern Lights. On the way, Elena explained the science behind the Aurora and what we could expect. When the lights were faint at first, they encouraged us to be patient, and they were right! We stayed for several hours, and it was absolutely worth the wait. We were lucky enough to see the Aurora and take LOTS of photos. They were so helpful throughout the evening, even assisting me with my camera settings and taking photos of everyone in the group. One young couple got engaged during the tour, and their engagement photos turned out absolutely stunning! It was such a special moment to witness. They also provided snacks and water, and we were given a piece of cake at the end of the tour—a lovely touch! Elena and Ed clearly care about giving their guests a great experience. They were knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and went out of their way to make the evening memorable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Fairbanks who wants to see the Northern Lights! A wonderful experience from start to finish.

This was a long tour, 10 hours start to finish. Our guide, Ed, took time to explain about the northern lights and what we could expect. We then drove all the way to Denali with stops along the way whenever he thought there was a good possibility to see the lights. It was not the greatest viewing night but we did get several opportunities for photos. We are also looking forward to receiving the photos Ed took of our group during the tour He did an amazing job trying to get us the best views on a night with relatively low prospects for visibility.

It was a fantastic trip. Elena and Edward were fantastic and while the trip was long, the view of the AB was famtastic!

It was excellent. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and really went out of their way to ensure that we were able to see the Aurora!

Seeing the Auroras was on my life bucket list and we got to see them. Be prepared for long quiet rides. Ours was 3 hours each way, but I was back at the hotel by 6AM as promised, so we could leave with our group tour. There were 2 photographers and I was able to get as many pictures as I wanted. They also worked with me on poses. The photos were delivered to my email timely. Note, talk to the operator in advance if you have and plans early the next morning. They were so great working with me and as noted I was back at 6:00AM as promised on what was an 11 hour tour. It was cold, bundle up! I am totally happy with everything overall and fulfilled one of my lifetime dreams.

Great service and a wonderful experience! The staff was super friendly, helpful, and professional. Regardless of whether we got to see the aurora, you could tell that the staff genuinely did everything they could to help us find it. We really appreciated their effort and dedication. We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it!

This aurora tour was amazing!! Elena and Ed were the perfect guides. It was cloudy on the night of the geomagnetic storm, and they drove us all the way from Fairbanks to Denali to get a clear view of the lights. We saw such an amazing show of the aurora, with the snowcapped mountains of Denali in the backdrop, it was absolutely stunning! Elena and Ed were so fun and enthusiastic; they spent so much time finding the perfect spots for viewing and taking TONS of photos and videos for everyone in the entire group. It was definitely a long night (our pickup from Fairbanks was at 7:45pm, we arrived back at around 5am) but it was worth it for the views, and their vans are very new and comfortable.

The experience was so amazing I would have rated this 6 stars. It was a cloudy night although the KP index was high, but Elena drove us all the way to Denali and we caught the most breathtaking Aurora views there! Beautiful dancing auroras with a full moon and the snow-capped Denali mountain range in the background. It wa such a grand backdrop for the aurora show. Elena and Ed were so friendly and enthusiastic for her customers to catch the lights and also have the best pictures. It was a long ride but totally worth it. Strongly recommend!

I booked this tour for my sister and I. The tour description stated that you'll "spend an incredible night on the hunt for the elusive Northern lights." There was never a hunt. Ed and Elana drove us about 2 hours outside of Fairbanks where we sat for approximately 4 hours never seeing the Northern Lights with the naked eye. Herein lies the problem. There was no hunt, just one stop, one location. Beware, this tour is absolutely NOT a hunt. I later was disappointed to learn that the aurora was visible that night, at the Chena Hot Springs...but we were nowhere near that location. While we didn't see the lights, Ed did provide some interesting information on the aurora and Elana did take our photo of an "invisible to the naked eye" aurora in the background. While I understand the Northern Lights are not always visible and there's no guarantee of seeing them, the description of the tour leads you to believe you'll move to other locations in the search to find them. This just was not true. Additionally, if the guides are genuinely professionals, I feel the tour should have been cancelled when they discovered the probability of seeing the aurora was very low that evening, particularly at the location we were driven to. Furthermore, we were informed very shortly into the drive that the conditions were not favorable that evening, making me question why the tour wasn't cancelled or rescheduled to begin with. Needless to say it was a disappointing experience.

Is was an amazing experience !! The guides worked hard to make sure we had an awesome experience. We traveled several different places and waited until they saw activities. They were also GREAT at making sure we all got photos of the experience. I would recommend this 100%. I would even do it again myself.

Our guide Elena was outstanding! When Fairbanks was under cloud cover during our visit, our hopes dimmed for seeing the Northern Lights; but this tour company pulled it off! We watched the aurora dance for hours. Now we are looking forward to receiving the link for the professional photos taken during our tour, which is a service included in the tour price. Elena was considerate of our comfort every step of the way.

Elena and Ed gave us a fantastic, once in a lifetime experience!! It wasn’t the most vibrant or colorful display, but the brilliancy of the stars, the fresh air, the aurora and the pictures all made for a spectacular evening. There were snacks and a very comfortable van/bus. Thank you so much!!

Unsafe tour.they don't have any backup if something goes wrong. Rash driving and un necessary stretched hours. No clear communication.

Elena and Ed provided a wonderul experience! We were gone for almost 8 hours, driving in a very comfortable Mercedes van. They provided water and snacks for us and Elena spent a lot of time educating us on the science of the aurora. We started to see the aurora around midnight, but it was faint to the naked eye. The aurora became more vivid over the next 2 hours. Elena and Ed had advanced cameras to take many pictures and videos which turned out fantastic. They were so happy to see all of us excited. I see them as never-give-up guides that go the extra mile. To make things even sweeter, Elena gave us customer a piece of cake (which was delicious by the way) as a parting gift. Super people & customer focused. It’s clear they love their work. I would highly recommend this tour experience.

For us this experience was pretty okay. It was anti-climatic though. Please be aware that this tour is a commitment. We got picked up from our hotel at 8:30pm and didnt get back until 5am. We drove almost three hours each way trying to see the lights and stayed at one location the entire time. We did expect to be blown away by the dancing lights of the Aurora but this didnt happen. We actually didn't see the lights with the naked eye, but saw them show up on photos with specific zoom and exposure. It could be cause it rained the day of our tour and there was lots of clouds, it could be because of the time of year we went (September 9) but all in all in was an okay experience. I'd probably only do it once. The photos that we got back were spectacular though. Really nice and professional. But It did get pretty boring after a while so some people in our group just decided to wait in the van. The guides were pretty nice as well. And offered snacks and water after the tour while we were driving back (probably should have been while we were there for those long hours). I wouldn't say it was disappointing, just that we expected a lot more. Maybe thats the best kept secret about this experience. That the photos look beautiful but the experience itself is pretty mid. lol. Do the tour though. It'll make a good story.

Amazing tour. Elena and Ed drove us to the middle of nowhere, took tons of pictures and made sure we were able to see the lights. Seeing the lights dance was amazing and we will never forget it. Snacks and waters were a great perk. These are two people who will do everything they can so you can see the lights! 12/10

After 3 days of chasing, I finally got to see the northern light myself. It all thanks to Ed and Elena. They're the most professional Aurora chaser in Fairbanks. They read not only KP data but also cloud map, positive/negative of the light and all the other real time data to chase light in a most scientific way. The most important thing is that they are willing to drive 200+ miles for a piece of clear sky. They are absolutely serious on maximizing the chance of seeing northern light. They also have professional camera to catch beautiful photos and videos to seize the moment. The car is very comfortable, and there's water and snacks offered along the road. If you have limited time in Fairbanks, choose them and they'll bring the light to you.

This was a very long and exhausting drive to see the Aurora lights! It was worth it once we got to see them. Our tour picked us up at 9 PM and dropped us back at our hotel at 4:30 AM. We got to see the lights at 1 AM. Just be prepared for the long bumpy ride and the late night drop off.

Was a wonderful evening. The tour operators were knowledgeable and took us to where lights could be seen. Was a group so need to be aware that majority rules. Left to return early and might have missed some sights.

Had an amazing experience with the lights. We stayed out until very late to get some great shows. It was better than Iceland. They used mutliple SLR cameras to get amazing photos and videos of the lights to send a few weeks after the tour. The guides were all so enthusiastic it was addicting. Our original tour cancelled because of the weather. The guides on this tour consulted a weather map and found a place outside the cloud cover. They drove us three hours to get there. There was no guarantee we would see the lights even then, but we saw a spectacular light show that defies description. At times there were streaks and swirls and curtains of light that involved much of the sky. Our guides had great cameras and took many gorgeous photos with the lights behind my husband and me. There is no extra charge for the photos. The guides are really lovely people and even brought snacks and water for us. I highly recommend this tour!

Tour guides were friendly & professional driving a great distance to find favorable conditions. We had an awesome aurora experience!

I had a good experience with the tour guides but we the aurora barely showed up that night which I’m not blaming the guides for. However, the guides told us that the aurora didn’t show for only 2 nights the entire season and this was the 3rd night. They told us the company will refund us which was ok with us. We also took a bunch of pictures to at least have some memories from that night. We were told we would get them within 2 weeks. After the trip, I called the company and we were denied a refund because they said the aurora showed up slightly. After 2 weeks, I called about the photos which We also didn’t receive. The company said the aurora didn’t come out so we don’t get the photos. So they basically robbed us of our moment. The person that was answering the calls was rude and unhelpful.

Elena and Ed delivered a great tour. They took us far and we were gone for almost 10 hours. The drive was very comfortable in their Mercedes van. They had water and snacks for us. They delivered a home run in the bottom of the 9th. I see them as never give up guides that I would trust again and again. To make things even sweeter, Elena gave us customer a piece of cake as a parting gift. Great people. Customer focused. It’s clear they love their work. I highly recommend.

Just book this tour. Our guides were amazing, they provided snacks, water and warmers. They even gave us dessert to go after the tour. We saw the aurora for the first time and also got to really enjoy it. We got to enjoy it because you don’t have to worry about taking photos because they will do it for you. I would recommend this tour.

Loved the experience. Although nothing is ever guaranteed, we were able to obtain our goal in catching the Northern Lights. Our tour guide (don't remember his name) was very enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about the Northern Lights. You can tell he was genuinely amazed and excited as we were when we were able to catch the lights. Even after catching the lights at one spot, you can tell on the way back he was invested in trying to catch them again. He had the camera and high tech equipment in taking great videos and photos for everyone. As the majority of people on our tour were more focused on trying to get their own photos on their camera phones, my wife and I seemed to be the only ones for him to take photos on his own equipment which we didn't mind. It was like a private shoot. lol. I don't think they understood that his equipment catches the light way better and he even kept encouraging the group to take many pictures on his equipment. The van was always a comfortable temperature and he provided water and various snacks to keep you filled. We brought pillows and rested while there are times you are just resting and waiting in the car until you are able to catch the lights. Great experience! Catching the northern lights was what my wife wanted to do on her birthday and we achieved that. At the end of the night, they provided a piece of cake that was very yummy. They are supposed to send us our pictures and video a week or two after so we haven't received that yet since we went on the tour just a few days ago. All we can say is thank you again for the phenomenal experience! The picture posted is our own picture on our camera phone. Can't wait for the professional pictures!

It was a truly fantastic experience! Our tour guide Ed is very experienced and knowledgeable. He knew where to go for the best view of Aurora, even on a cloudy night. We were blessed to see the northern lights three times on our night, with the lights dancing in the sky. Ed took so many great pictures and videos of us with Aurora together and sent it to us with an email link about one week after. The entire tour was well prepared with a heated van as well as water, snacks and hand & foot warmers to keep us warm and energized. Don’t miss it if you really want to see the northern lights with your own eyes at least once!

Our tour guide was incredibly supportive, she talked about the Auroras in a way everyone can understand, and not only did we learn about it, we fell in love with it. She made sure the whole time we were comfortable and made us feel like family. Loved the snacks and the hand and toe warmers, these two made a difference! We looked for auroras and were blessed with a beautiful show at the end of the night. They made sure we not only got to experience this, but to LIVE this experience. Totally recommended if you are planning to come to Fairbanks! 100/10!

The tour started on time and handled professionally. It was a long drive to the viewing sight north of Fairbanks (about 1.5 hours and 70 miles). There was a short stop at an outdoor rest stop, about 10 minutes away from the final destination. The tour stopped there on the outbound and return trip. The van was kept heated to get out of the cold (must have been -11 degrees outside). We had a great night. The sky was clear and the aurora was visible as soon as we got to the site and was visible the entire time (about 3-4 hours) we were on site (KP index was 7 the evening of our tour). There was no need to move to a different location. The tour allowed multiple professional shots of the guest and the aurora. On the return trip the Elana stopped for one more spot to look at the aurora when she sighted another active view. Hand and toe warmers were provided to all the guests. (Note: pictures taken with an android phone on night mode). Overall, I highly recommend this tour.

One of the best aurora tours in Fairbanks. The team is very professional and provides body warmers, snacks, water, and a comfortable car. You can really feel their passion for the aurora, and they know how to find it.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! Words can’t describe how wonderful this tour was from the start to finish. Elena the driver/ the tour guide/ and the photographer was excellent. We had a great experience with her. She picked us up at 8.00pm from our hotel in a big mini bus. Super comfortable.clean and cozy . We drove out for 1 hour or so to get to this place up in the mountains. They did a bathroom stop before we parked to see the auroras. We parked and we were the only ones with their other bus with each 12 people. Not crowded at all. She explained us about the aurora and everything related to it. She gave us snack water ,hand and toe warmers through the 4 hours and took so many pics with the aurora. We had such a fantastic time . They dropped us back in our hotel and gave us each cakes to take back. What an experience ! Unforgettable ♥️. Thank you Elena

We had a great night viewing the Auroras. Ehlena was very nice, helpful, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. She came to the van several times when the auroras changed/improved to let us know so we could come out to see.
