What an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience! My husband and I did the Outbound Heli tour with Cedric, and we were thrilled to find out it would be just the two of us. It made the entire experience feel so personal. Cedric was an amazing pilot and guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful, especially helping me navigate the ice. He found a spectacular spot to land where we were able to explore a beautiful glacier pool. He even obliged my request to keep an eye out for bears and moose along the way! This was truly one of the most memorable experiences we’ve ever had. If you’re considering it, BOOK IT! You won’t be disappointed!

Our pilot was a petite young lady who shared her joy of flying helicopters with us! The glacier visit was enlightening and our ride back to base was the BOMB! Highly recommend

Shoutout to the “really cute, bearded pilot” -per my mom, who took us to the glacier on 8/21! He was super friendly, informational, and made it a great experience. He’s also incredibly persuasive. Wonderful. We are mid seventies and were concerned that we would have trouble walking on the glacier. Thanks to our pilot everything was great. She was so helpful. I recommend Laura as a great pilot and informative tour guide.

Must do for everyone who likes a flight. Helicopter and glacier, both are awesome. Can see a moose on the way as well.

Everyone was SUPER helpful! My husband has mobility issues and they helped him get in the helicopter and get comfortable. He didn’t want to get out on the glacier so our pilot Cedric landed and took the door off so he could get a better view. Absolutely fabulous experience!!!

The Knik Glacier helicopter experience included a knowledgeable, professional, and fun pilot. Cedric gave us exactly what we wanted by finding moose & bears, and answering our many questions about the geology of glaciers. We highly recommend it!

This flight company was absolutely amazing!! We got married along a river and then flew out to a glacier to take pictures and our pilot Wes was nothing short of AMAZING! This was such an incredible experience and we can’t wait to come back for our 5-10 year anniversary and do it again!!

We cannot speak highly enough about this adventure. It was a last minute add on to our very short visit to Anchorage. We will remember it as a once in a lifetime, out of this world experience - you have to do it! Our pilot Logan was absolutely brilliant. We booked a helicopter ride to the Knik Glacier while we were in Anchorage prior to our Alaska cruise from Seward to Vancouver. While the cruise was great, the most exciting part of our trip was THIS HELO RIDE! Outbound picked us up at our hotel and brought us to the heliport. The very personable driver was an Alaska native who shared stories of her life in Alaska, road-kill and summer/winter jobs included. Our pilot, Cedric, was great! After the safety brief, we took off and headed to the glacier. Along the way, he pointed out moose and daal sheep we were flying over, and then narrated the view as the glacier came into view. Once we landed on the glacier (very cool!), he stayed with us and guided us around to ensure we saw the entire lifecycle of the water as it melted, pooled, and formed streams and eventually disappeared into toilet-bowl-like holes. We thoroughly enjoyed it! As we left, he again narrated what we were seeing as he flew over and then into a valley - I can still hear ‘Flight of the Valkyrie’ in my mind! This glacier visit was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we added at the last minute (because when am I going back to Alaska?), but as I said earlier, it was one of the best parts of our Alaska Cruise, and it happened before we stepped onto our boat! I highly recommend booking a trip with Outbound Heli Adventures!

Absolutely incredible. The guide was so fun and kept us safe and the glacier was incredible! We did doors off which was even more epic. I’d highly recommend.

Staff was excellent, accommodated us even though we reached just 5 mins before the start time. The pilots were easy going, knowledgeable and fun. Took us to a spot that was worth every penny.

If you want to be treated like family vs just another tourist, this is the tour for you. Staff was friendly and the pilot/tour guide Wes did an amazing job, giving my husband and I a personal excursion. He asked what we wanted to do and see and then delivered. It was by far the most incredible thing we have done. Pictures just don't do it justice, thank you.

This was the most amazing tour. We actually flew in 2 days early before our cruisetour just for this. The Glacier is phenomenal and I can't wrap my head around someone being able to do this every day. Everyone was so kind and made us feel like family instead of a tourist. Our tour operator Wes, went above and beyond and made my husband and myself a priority in choosing what we wanted to do. We cannot wait to come back and do it again.

It’s well worth the money! Beautiful scenery. We lucked out on a beautiful day. Our guide was amazing. Only one flaw…no one mentions whether they Viator or the tour company, no uber or Lyft comes to pick up after tour. It’s easy to get there but we were stranded for 2 hour before we were able to get back to anchorage

This was an amazing experience. Out of this world. Great customer service. When we booked it, we did not realize the location was about an hour away. I called them and they arranged for pick up from our hotel and back. They were very friendly, helpful and quick to respond. The ride was excellent. The guide/pilot took his time. It was not rushed with plenty of time to spend on the Ice exploring. He made this trip one of the best helicopters ride we did in Alaska, and we did 3 of them. Highly recommended, you will not regret.

After checkin with Caroline, we were directed to the red helicopter piloted by Captain Laura. As soon as you take off the wonder does not stop. Our pilot kindly pointed out wildlife, interesting points to see and also offered to take pictures for us. She was amazingly kind and considerate. As a plus size person, the team reassured me at every step. You are weighed privately to help the balance of the craft, they have appropriate seatbelts in the back and helped put on the clamp-ons. As I was nervous about my size, they reassured me at every opportunity. I would highly encourage others who worry, to use this company.

Super fun time - it was amazing to fly over the glacier - and then land and walk around. Very fun flight, we learned more about Alaska - and felt we had an experience we will remember for a lifetime!

She was skilled at flying and knowledgable about the glacier/area, while at the same time a lot of fun! I was nervous about airsickness, but had no issues at all! Definitely would recommend!

Outstanding, the best helicopter tour I have ever taken. They are friendly, informative, and make sure you are safe and enjoying the experience. I was staying downtown but used Uber to/from the starting point and it worked out well (just make sure to pre-schedule the return ride).

There aren't enough stars for this experience! Definitely worth every penny we paid. We were picked up as scheduled from our Anchorage hotel in a comfortable van with a very personable driver. Upon our arrival in Palmer, we were greeted by friendly staff who prepared us for what was to come. Then it was off to the Knik Glacier with our pilot, Christine. She had an uncanny ability to spot wildlife like bears, mama moose with their babies, eagles in a nest, and lots of Dall sheep. We landed on the glacier next to a gorgeous glacial pool. The bear claws they provided for our boots made walking on the ice easy, and Christine was always there to ensure our safety. The ride back to the heliport was ... I won't spoil the surprise. Suffice to say, Top Gun has nothing on Christine! Definitely take this tour!

It was an awesome once in a lifetime adventure!! The weather was beautiful. Take an empty water bottle to taste the fresh glacier water.

Followed by gazing over Alaskan landscapes and canyons with various animals like moose and mountain sheep below. Must do on a bucket list!!
