Gina was amazing! She was very helpful and friendly. Took us to Santa village and the pipeline. She explained a lot of Alaska throughout the tour and made the trip enjoyable. Would recommend her definitely!

Gina of AK Bucket List Tours was the most incredible guide we have ever experienced. She is friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and very caring. We have traveled to many places and have never had a tour guide of this amazing caliber. Thank you, Gina. What an amazing day!! We will definitely look you up when we come to Fairbanks again.
My wife and I loved this tour. Learned a lot about Alaska. Seen cool things. Went a lot of places. The tour guide even stopped at our requested stops not on the tour.. Gina our tour guide gave us a private tour. It was amazing. Went over and beyond for us.
Great trip and well worth it because I had John as my guide. We covered everything and I'm more than happy. The UAF Museum of the North and the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitor Center were highlights. I learned so much from John about the Pipeline that gave me a better appreciation for it. Santa and Mrs. Claus were at the North Pole and we had our picture taken with them. The store is just awesome!! If I bought everything I liked I would be dead broke! So much to choose from! Plus there's a candy spot for fudge and other yummies. So thankful to John for always making our excursions so special!
I love everything about the tour, it was friendly, she was very knowledgeable and informative about all the places. My favorite place was the Santa Clause House with all the different Christmas themed, but everything about the tour was breathtaking ❤️. Highly recommended!
Host was very informative and flexible. Strived to meet everyone’s expectations and went over and beyond. Encouraged questions about Alaska. An exceptional guide.
Not the greatest tour we've been on this trip. The guide was pretty full of himself. He really wanted to book his one tour for later I. The day to see the northern lights.
Kendall was a great guide taking us to the North Pole Christmas complex and the lovely hand made bowl shop. He told us about the local area and told us a great poems on our journey. 100% recommend this tour and tour company AK Bucket List Tours!
Loved the commentary from our driver
Gina was an amazing guide and full of knowledge. My husband was sick so ended up not being able to go so she took me to get hit soup for him. Above and beyond for sure! Loved the North Pole and the cultural museum. The whole trip was casual and relaxed and very nice.
Great tour - enjoyed very much!
Fabulous experience! Jenna is amazing and so knowledgeable.well
Kendall was quite knowledgeable about Fairbanks. We particularly liked the Visitor's Center and the Museum of the North. They have beautiful exhibits of native arts and crafts. We skipped the Pipeline since we had seen it the day before on another tour. The Santa Store was a goldmine for anyone who collects Christmas decorations. We weren't that interested in the two gift shops. Kendall very nicely made a stop at Fred Meyer so I could pick up cold medicine.
I booked this tour based upon the wonderful reviews for Gina as a tour guide. I communicated with Gina about the tour booking, but it turned out she was not our tour guide. Our tour guide was a young man who was nice enough, but had not lived in Fairbanks for very long. We were told where we were going to go by the tour guide, instead of being asked how he could individualize the tour for us. It was somewhat disappointing. But, again, he was nice enough and did his best.
Kendall made a rainy day feel like sunshine ☀️! The tour was great and informative! Kendall really knows a lot about the area and its history!
Had a good time. Liked that it was small group
Gina was an incredible guide! Knowledgable and extremely personable. I feel like we got an wonderful local’s experience in just one afternoon. Took us to the places we would have surely missed on our own- the Cultural Center is a must see.
I was very lucky. There was only one other solo traveler in my group. Our guide was Kendall, and he was great.. I especially enjoyed the visit to the Alaska pipeline, but all the stops were interesting. I highly recommend this tour.
Fairbanks Sightseeing, nice tour, great guide and lots of local history
Gina gave us a wonderfully customized city tour and boy did we see some great highlights and some we added in along the way! Great memories with, Gina!! She was so genuine and full of spirit and love for Alaska!
Great overview of life in northern Alaska. Great sights from the museums to a visit to North Pole and reindeer. Blake was a fantastic, interesting and knowledgeable guide who went the extra mile to make our tour fulfilling.
Great introduction to Fairbanks. Kendall was very knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting. Pipeline and Santa's House particularly good.
We had 5 hours available between hotel checkout time & airport check-in & reading the reviews we chose this "City Tour." We had a great time with Kendall our tour guide. He was so personable & knowledgeable. He took us to 2 museums (guiding us through them), the SantaClaus/Silver Bells Village at North Pole, an awesome Alaska Bowl company & even somewhere we've been before but were interested in what he could teach us. We were not disappointed in his knowledge of the Alaskan Pipeline; we were fascinated! In all it took 4 hours & we are thrilled with what we learned!
Kendal did a great job! Saw the Alaskan Pipeline, Bowl making factory . Our guide was very friendly and informative and enjoyed what he does. Highly recommend!
This was a nice tour. Only 8 people in our group. Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and even funny at times. It was nice being picked up at our hotel.
After such a wonderful experience the day before, we booked a second tour with AK Bucket List Tours, and we're so glad we did! Since my daughter is interested in attending the University of Alaska Fairbanks to study Wildlife Biology and Conservation, Gina helped us customize the beginning of our day to include UAF's Large Animal Research Station (LARS). Our guide, Kendell, took us there first, where we learned all about muskoxen, reindeer (and how they differ from caribou), and bison. It was an incredible experience and a perfect addition to our visit to UAF. Next, Kendell took us to The Crepery for brunch, and it was absolutely delicious! After picking up another couple, we continued on to the Heart of Fairbanks Tour. One of our stops was the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, where Kendell explained not only how it was built, but why it was engineered the way it was. Throughout the drive, he shared fascinating facts about Fairbanks, the surrounding landscape, local wildlife, and the science behind the region. We especially appreciated how much context he gave us; as a science teacher myself, it made every stop even more meaningful. We also visited North Pole, explored the Great Alaska Bowl Company for unique souvenirs, and stopped at the Morris Thompson Cultural & Visitors Center, where we learned about Alaska's rich history, cultures, and the people who have called this region home. We finished the day at the Museum of the North on the UAF campus, which was the perfect ending to our trip. The exhibits beautifully tied together everything we had learned over the past two days: from Alaska's geology and wildlife to its Indigenous cultures and history. Both Gina and Kendell were fantastic guides, and what really stood out to us was how willing they were to customize our experience around our interests while sharing their genuine passion for Alaska. We highly recommend AK Bucket List Tours to anyone visiting Fairbanks!
Knowledgeable driver/guide. Saw good highlights of Fairbanks. Would've liked more time at the museum
Great experience! I was solo and joined another couple. It was a great intimate tour that allowed me see so much of the city before I had to sadly head home.
Packed in some great Fairbanks sights. Combined history, culture and interesting facts. Our guide was great.
We had a great time with Kendall as our guide. You can tell he has a passion for what he does. The pipeline was so interesting and I learned so much about it. The North Pole stop is great if you’re looking for a gift. For me I loved the bowl factory stop. They are just beautiful. The last stop was the museum where I could have spent more time. So much to see and read. This is a great tour with a little bit of everything. There were only a total of five guest so it was perfect.
Tour picked up at hotel spent four hours with visit to north poll, wood carving and museum of Alaska - You should take snacks - and water as you would need on your own with visits. Retuned to hotel. Traveled by van - good tour guide with knowledge of the area
Gina very friendly and informative. She looked for ways to make our trip enjoyable
Was informative and nice but little less than 4 hours. Recommended we try to get to pioneer village with old ships and stores. Wondering why we didn't go on what was supposed to be a 5 hour tour
Visited places in Fairbanks that we did not see with our cruise excursions. The museum at the University of Alaska was the highlight.
Gina was our tour guide. The two of us were the only people on her tour that morning. Gina was flexible in where she took us based on our interest of what we wanted to see and do. She was very knowledgeable about the places we visited. We enjoyed the tour and would recommend Gina. Excellent tour guide.
Wonderful, Gina was excellent and really nice. Pipeline was interesting. Santa clause house was nice, loved the bowl place and the museum of the north.
Gina was an excellent tour guide, she took the time to let you explore at each location and was very informative, we learned a lot and enjoyed our day, highly recommended!
We went on the AK Bucket List Tours with Gina as our guide. We had stops at Great Alaskan Bowl Company, North Pole Alaska, the Alaskan Pipeline and University of Fairbanks Museum of the North. Gina was very knowledgeable and was able to give us the history of each stop. It was a wonderful experience and felt like we spent several hours with a friend.
When we booked with AK Bucket List Tours we thought this would be a large group tour of Fairbanks. What we discovered is a tour guide that really focused the tour on us. She treated us like friends, and very easy to talk with. She was not in a hurry. The group was Gina, my wife and myself. Gina knew her material well. I suspect that is because that is where she lives life. I highly recommend Gina if you are looking for a great tour guide. She has other tours available as well.
Gina made our afternoon memorable and very enjoyable!!! We really appreciated her extensive knowledge & enthusiasm for the Fairbanks area. If you are looking for a nice overview of the area, book this tour!!!
We loved Gina. She did an awesome job showing us around. The museum was great. And took us to some places we haven't been to. I would highly recommend this tour. Gina was great
Gina’s love of Alaska and enthusiasm made this tour special. We were never rushed at any of the stops. Plenty of time to shop at the Santa Claus House (and have her take our pictures on Santa’s throne), the Alaska Bowl Company…and visit the Museum at the University of Alaska, plus several other stops! She went above and beyond to make everyone have a great time…to the extent when she found out that I didn’t have time to eat before the tour, she offered to take me through the Mc Donald’s drive thru! Now THAT is personal service! If you want a fun tour with a reliable guide, Gina is the best!
Gina, from AK bucket list tours was amazing. If you book , you need to book with her
AK Bucket List Tours is apropos to our situation. My friend Celia and I are seniors like thousands of travelers out there looking for special moments/memories. This trip was my 4th to Alaska and Celia's first. It’s something about the beauty of the state and the friendly people that keep me coming back. On my last trip to Fairbanks in 2025 I went on this exact tour and had a wonderful experience. So, I got in touch with Gina and asked if she was still doing tours because I was coming back with another friend. I was thrilled to learn that not only was she doing tours but now owned her own company, AK Bucket List Tours. I immediately said, Sign me up”. During our week stay I had Gina arrange all our tours and got to see the Northern Lights 3 out of 3 times we went hunting. Gina gives 110% to her clients and will rearrange this tour to meet your needs. We went to a museum, shopped a Vintage Festival where we got some great original jewelry pieces, went to the wood bowl factory and bought some great stuff there. Stopped by a local bakery that had excellent pastries and topped it off by going to a Chowder house where they had sandwiches. pasta and in-house desserts to die for to take back to our AirbNb. Gina knows all the great spots, will treat you like a VIP, and just tell her to take you where Judy went..ha/ha It was a relaxed, easy going day. We did this our last day in Alaska and got to sit back and enjoy. I also want to mention that tour guides do except tips. Some people may not know this, but tipping helps guides out financially just like others that assist you on your travels. The money you pay for the tour goes for a lot of different expenses. So be kind to your guide and tip well, I did. Happy and safe travels to all of our fellow Bucket List friends. Call Gina!
Our guide Gina was fabulous and so very flexible in assisting us. We were so pleased we booked another tour with her. The best!!
This was one of the best tours I have ever taken. Gina was so friendly and accommodating. We all had a great time.
Traveled solo and this was a perfect half day tour to see the main attractions at/around Fairbanks. I was with the owner Gina and she was absolutely incredible. She even knew what roads to take to lead to some wildlife sightings! You can tell she takes the time to personally craft her tours, and her heart and personality really shine Already looking to come back and boom privates with her
This is the perfect local tour with lots to see and learn. I was with the founder Gina and she is the most passionate, fun and caring guide. Already thinking of my return and will be booking with her again
Gina’s Heart of Fairbanks Tour was the perfect way to experience the city and learn about its culture and history. Gina was an amazing guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Fairbanks. She made the whole tour feel personal and welcoming. Gina shared so many interesting stories about the area that you wouldn’t get just walking around on your own. It really helped me understand the character of Fairbanks and the people who live here. If you’re visiting Fairbanks, I highly recommend doing this tour early in your trip—it’s a fantastic way to get oriented and discover places you’ll want to go back to again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This was a very informative and enjoyable excursion. We were fortunate to have Gina as our tour guide. She was a pleasure to work with. She is very good at her job. I would highly recommend this tour with Gina as your guide.
