It was pure excitement! Dorothy was a wonderful Pilot and I got to be co pilot! I wish she would have given us more information about the area we were flying into but was glad she was good at her flying job! The office staff were so accommodating and made it all run smoothly! I highly recommend this company!

I was originally supposed to be on the glacier landing experience, but the flight was cancelled because of windy conditions. I opted to hang out in Talkeetna and eat at one of the restaurants while waiting to see if conditions improved. Unfortunately it was still too windy later, but they gave me the option to still fly around Denali and get a partial refund (since the glacier landing tour was more expensive). I was very thankful that I at least got to go on the plane ride, as I wasn’t able to come back a different day do to my trip constraints. I appreciated their emphasis on safety. I’ll be honest, I was extremely nervous. Flying on a small plane is much more nerve rattling than being on a commercial plane. But it was very exciting. Our pilot was extremely professional and did an amazing job of both managing to fly the plane safely while also maximizing our time seeing all of the best spots. It was difficult to hear everything he was saying in the headset over the roar of the engine, but this added to the authenticity of the flight. We were on a turbo prop beaver and it seemed to be very well maintained and perfect for the kind of flying we were doing. I definitely look forward to coming back in the future to hopefully land on the glacier next time. Thanks for the memories!

This was the highlight of our 10 days in Alaska! From takeoff to landing, we enjoyed every minute of this flight. Seeing Denali from the air was like looking down on another planet, and our pilot was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and passionate about what he does. At times, we found ourselves feeling emotional as we took in the majesty of this incredible mountain. We were also among the lucky few who got to see Denali under beautiful blue skies in all its glory. Three planes took off one after another and traveled the same route throughout the excursion. We could hear the pilots communicating with one another over the radio, and it was obvious how much they genuinely love what they do. Watching them coordinate with each other added another layer to an already incredible experience. Landing on a glacier was absolutely spectacular—a true "pinch me" moment. Everyone had a window seat in our eight-passenger plane, so there wasn't a bad view anywhere. From start to finish, this was an unforgettable experience and worth every penny we spent. We would highly recommend this excursion!

Pilot was awesome. Flight was great even though we had clouds and couldn’t land was still cool to see Denali up close.

This is a breathtaking adventure! The day was sunny, our pilot was informed about yhe area and mountain, and the fee was worth every penny. Would absolutely do it again.

We had a great experience with K2! We were supposed to have a glacial landing, but unfortunately the weather wasn’t cooperative, so we “just” flew (K2 refunded the difference). We did, however, get to see Denali — our pilot, Finn, did an awesome job with that. We also got to see Moose’s Tooth, glaciers, and more, and Finn explained everything we were seeing. My entire family of 4 loved it!

It was an exceptional experience. K2 operates with impressive efficiency and professionalism throughout. The views were truly stunning. My pilot, Dani, was outstanding—I cannot speak highly enough of her expertise and skill. She is extremely knowledgeable and, without a doubt, one of the best pilots I have had the pleasure of flying with. I was particularly impressed by the smoothness of her landings, both on the glacier and on the paved runway. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone considering it.

In order to enjoy the full experience, I would recommend play with google earth before the flight, the reason is to familiarize with the geography of the Denali national park, especially with the peak and glaciers also understanding their relative locations. Otherwise yhe pilot will talk about all these names it will be extremely difficult to follow, since you are in the air, the perspective view will be different from ground, it is relatively easy to follow the highest peak until you are on the back side, but once the pilot starts talking about other peaks, glaciers, I got lost really quickly. I think it is worthwhile experience but need to do a lot of homework first, also it would a good for the pilot to brief the flight path to everyone before the flight would be much more helpful

Flight of a lifetime! Cannot recommend K2 Aviation highly enough - from adjusting our reservation to keeping us informed on the changing weather that day so we were able to be on 1 of the 2 flights that day that were able to land on the glacier - they were great!

A totally unexpected day. Had reservations for the day before, but it was bad weather - they easily put us into a flight the next day, and the weather was crystal clear, sunny, and you could see for miles. Our pilot, guide Chad, was uber fantastic. Told us so much. And the flight itself. You are not circling the mountain or looking from afar - you are flying right beside and up and down the valleys. Remarkable, scary, breathtaking, awesome, and a bunch of other adjectives to describe the trip. And an appreciated fact: sometimes these small planes and tours have very poor PA systems, a mumbled garble when the guide is speaking. Our plane was crystal clear. Wonderful people and event. GO!!

The pilot and ground crew were awesome! Seeing Denali at 10,000 feet from a K2 plane made us speechless! We saw incredible views!

We booked a ride to ring in the new year and it exceeded my expectations seeing Denali from above. We got lucky the weather was clear although windy and we could see the entire area. The pilot was super knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. I definitely want to return in the summer/fall time and try to land on the glacier. Thanks for the fantastic time and opportunity to see Denali in all of its glory.

Pilot was friendly. He pointed out lots of features and explained them. It was exciting to see the peak of Denali, since it's rarely visible from the ground.

My wife and I were on our honeymoon and had originally booked the top of the world tour with glacier landing, however the weather was not great. So we opted to switch and do the chugach tour instead. After driving 3 hours (both ways) and completing the chugach tour, my wife and I were disappointed and felt like we paid way more than what we got. I called the next day and let Barbara (manager) know what our experience was and she was very understanding, easy to talk to and was able to get us on the Denali Experience tour with the glacier landing in addition to only charging us for the glacier landing since we had already paid for the chugach tour. This tour (Denali Experience) was a much better experience for my wife and I and was definitely one of our highlights from our time in AK.

Absolutely amazing!!! We had Chad as our pilot and we had a wonderful flight! He explained everything we were seeing and answered all our questions. Would do this tour over and over!!!

Great company! Weather was cloudy on the day we were scheduled. K2 was excellent in working with us and rescheduling so we could get our flight in before we left. Views were breathtaking and flight was smooth. Would recommend you put this on your bucket list.

INCREDIBLE. We flew around Mount Denali and over the park viewing mountains, glaciers and valleys. It was a beautiful day with scattered clouds. The landing on the glacier was mind blowing. Definite bucket list item. Everyone got a window seat. Views were breath-taking. Highly recommend for families of all ages.

During the flight, the pilot's explanation of the landscape was so unclear that my wife and I couldn't understand anything. We both asked him several times during the flight to speak slowly. Unfortunately, his attention was so focused on a young, attractive passenger that, even after repeated requests to speak slowly, he continued to speak very quickly, indistinctly, using slang and then chewing gum into the microphone. So, we understood nothing during the two-hour flight. In conclusion: anyone who isn't a native American speaker should avoid this company. Whether you, as a European or American, are willing to accept that the pilot, whose attention depends on the lives of several people, devotes his attention throughout the entire flight to a young woman seated behind him on the right – that's up to you to decide for yourself.

What an experience, to fly between the mountains, learn about the glaciers from the pilot, have Mt Denali pop up in front of you & land on Ruth's Glacier - getting the chance to walk around. If you are able to do this, highly recommended. Easy booking, boots available if you don't have any. Bring camera and sunglasses!

Landing on a glacier with 20 or 30 feet of snow pack, including about 2 feet of new snow, is absolutely amazing! Awe inspiring views and peaceful quiet! We lucked out and had a beautifully bright, sunny day and the views were stunning. We flew through beautiful mountains and saw sights that words cannot describe. Our pilot, Riley, was fantastic! Not only was he a very skilled pilot, but also a great guide with informative information. We were truly impressed with him and his flying skills. For a unique experience you will never forget, we highly recommend K2 Aviation!

Great experience with stunning views! Landing on a glacier was amazing. Our pilot/guide unfortunately was a down of our experience, not sharing much information and treating questions without enthusiasm. I get that this is repetitive for the pilots, but it’s a once in a life time experience for us.

Fly seeing and Pilot (Sean) were excellent! The weather kept us from a glacier landing, but K2 handled rebooking and explanations with tremendous grace. Wonderful experience all around, but if weather permits upgrade to the glacier landing (I did that on a different trip many years ago).

This flight was the highlight of our Alaska visit. The 6 passenger plane we took up was very stable in flight and afforded us easy viewing out of the windows. And our pilot gladly accommodated our request to see the West Buttress climber basecamp during our Denali Flyer tour. (Shout out to Lindsay here :) ) . With many flight passes around the many glaciers and peaks, we got a much better appreciation for Mt Denali and the beauty of the Alaska Range. We will do this flight again if we ever make it up to Denali again.

Absolutely breathtaking experience. We were welcomed to the beautiful facility by friendly staff and their four-legged office mascot, Gracie. Our pilot, Matt, was professional and knowledgable. We were shown around their fleet of planes and given a brief history on each. The views from the flight are even greater than we imagined. Our flight included a glacier landing which was absolutely stunning. We’d highly recommend this experience!

This was my favorite adventure of my two week tour of Alaska. Aided by one of the few clear days in Alaska, the views of Denali were spectacular.

We booked this flight as soon as we arrived in Talkeetna as our excursions on the ship were cancelled. What a wonderful surprise. Riley was our pilot and we landed on the glacier and took photos for at least 20 minutes. The flight and landing were amazing and surreal ! If you get a chance to go you should do it!

Our pilot Doug was great and knowledgeable pointing out all that we could see. Weather was bad so couldn’t do our glacier landing but can’t control the weather. 1st class operation and highly recommend them.

A very professional and friendly operation close to town. Phoned us back (to South Africa) to discuss our concerns with our bookings. Big, well appointed terminal which was well staffed to handle the people arriving for flights. Collect at accommodation was on time and friendly and stored our luggage even after the flight and took us to train depot for our late afternoon train journey. Weather didn't allow the over Denali flight so only flew lower altitude but was still very good. Pilot's (Doug) explanations were really good and informative despite cloud. Refund details available on landing for lower level flight. Flight spectacular - as good as it gets!
