One of the best tours I’ve ever experienced. Hands down. They were super accommodating, and the whole experience felt complete and well thought out. There were plenty of snacks (pizza and chips), plus dinner and dessert (cake), which was honestly a huge plus for me. They even provided hand and toe warmers, so we stayed comfortable the whole time. Another highlight was the free professional photos and timelapse video. I absolutely loved them. I’ve joined other aurora tours before, but this one felt different in the best way. It felt more intentional and personal. You can truly feel the effort and care they put into the experience. I hope your team continues to grow and succeed. You deserve it. 🤍

This tour was the best experience we had in Alaska. Elena was very caring, positive, and enthusiastic, making us feel very comfortable. She took the time to explain, the patience to look for the Aurora and take lots of beautiful pictures. During the tour we got to see amazing sites, see the Aurora, take pictures and have a delicious dinner. I definitely recommend this tour; it is a MUST if you want to see the Auroras and have a lovely time while searching for it. This was a fantastic experience; we are very grateful!!
I had booked this trip 2 months in advance. On the day before the tour, the tour owner Elena Gedminas from Arctic Night Tours calls to confirm the food restriction as she was offering a complimentary dinner during the trip, and informed us the driver's name. She was very friendly on the call and very considerate. Pleasant experience. On the day of the tour, the driver picked us up at the scheduled time 1:15pm and picked few other parties and we drove north towards Arctic Circle. The driver was Sultan was very friendly, very profressional. He stopped for dinner, gave us the individually packed boxes. There were special gifts for kids. That was an excellent surprice. We continued driving north. The driver was so polite, stopped at various stops, took pictures for us, explained the places, and finally at Arctic circle, gave each of us cake, a certificate, took pictures. Later, we went chasing the northern lights, where the driver stopped at various stops making sure we saw the lights. The driver took all our photos, shared it to us, he took even videos during the tour that he shared with us, and dropped us back at the hotel at 3am. Overall, the tour was really really great! Wonderful owner, driver. Highly recommend this tour company. Excellent people!
Our guide kept the van very cold the entire 13 hour trip. We would ask for him to turn up the heat and he would for a few minutes but then cut it back down. It was so cold that the inside of the windows iced over. We had to rub the ice off in order to see out side. The van was old and drafty (had ash trays). We made one stop to see the scenery. The food he provided was cold…some type of noodles with mushy vegetables. He didn’t even eat it…he had his own sandwich. He talked the entire time to the person in the front seat so it was like everyone in the back didn’t have a clue what was going on. It was a miserable experience. The arctic circle is cool and so is the dalton hwy, but I would not go with this company. Sultan was the name of our guide.
Not sure what I expected, but it certainly wasn't driving 6 hours one way, with 2 stops for cold food or toilet in a freezing van that had ice on the insides of the windows with -25° weather. Just to take a photo infront of the sign and get back on the road for another 6hrs back. All the while each time we stopped the guide had the doors wide open freezing all of us for things he could have said INSIDE the van. Read the room man. The van was packed with guests and very uncomfortable having sat next to a larger couple for a total of 12 hours sitting with my hands across my body like a tight flight. They were miserable too and the woman didnt fit well in the seat causing backpain with each bump. Dont do it.
Sultan is very professional and friendly, and speaks surprisingly 5 languages. Thank you for organizing the wonderful trip(the food is great too). Unfortunately today's aurora was not strong enough to create some breathtaking pictures but we still managed to find some locations. I will definitely go back for another round in 2024 or 2025 for the chance to see the strong aurora.
Sultan (our guide) is very knowledgeable and considerate. This tour starts late in the day so you can avoid large tourist buses in the arctic circle and no other people or line at the sign! It also ends very late. We came back around 2 am after chasing the aurora.
Ed was a fabulous tour guide, he picked us up promptly at our hotel and we were quickly traveling up the Dalton Highway. Ed made a few, strategically staged stops on the way to the Arctic Circle to stretch and use the facilities. We arrived at the Arctic Circle just about sunset, it was gorgeous. On the return trip we were treated to a spectacular display of the Northern Lights. Most definitely a highlight of our Alaskan adventure.
The driver was great. Very knowledgeable of the Alaska pipeline and some of the history behind it. He mage the trip better by getting us in areas to see the northern lights.
Great Adventure! Very safe driver! Great conversations for a long journey! We booked an expensive full day tour months ago from one of the other vendors who offered personal service (not in a bus with 15+ other people). The owner cancelled our trip three days before for a frivolous reason and we could not find another vendor to take us on short notice (once in a lifetime vacation to Alaska). Found out later, other companies cancelled/delayed bookings due to a road closure. We found and booked Arctic Tours. They quickly took our short notice booking and told us they could not accommodate us at an 8am trip due to a road closure, so we adjusted our itinerary to begin the adventure at 2pm. We were lucky that they only had our family so it was an incredible experience in a mini van. The driver was incredibly nice, personable, and asked us if his daughters could come since it was only the two of us. His daughters were lovely, very smart, and kept us entertained for hours. We stopped at a roadside gas station/cafe and he provided a wonderful meal of grilled salmon and fish, dumplings, hot coffee and tea, etc. He also took pictures for us and uploaded them to a link for us to get later since we would not have access quickly. Have to say that we felt very safe with his driving enough to take some sleep on the way back. A fantastic experience and would love to have them as neighbors and friends.
I had a wonderful day tour to the Arctic circle. We were 6 travelers and I found the mini bus adequate for this tour. The roads are rough with holes, rocks, dust and mud, but I was comfortable throughout the drive. The guide/ driver, Kevin, was full of knowledge and stories. We made frequent stops for taking in the sites, food and bathroom breaks. Unfortunately, didn't see any wildlife, but did have wild birds eating out of my hand! I felt that by the end of the tour I learned a lot about Alaska. Thx to Kevin! I had a great day! Highly recommend this tour with Alaska Wildlife Guide!
What an incredible experience. Well planned with even small details taken into. Snacks, drinks, rest stops small dinner and even pics of the adventure. Pick up and drop off at hotel was very easy. Incredible drive and Aurora viewing. Vehicle was comfortable and warm :-)
We have never seen tour guides who are friendly and knowledgeable. We are in our 70’s and literally they took care of us! We enjoyed every second of the tour.
What an amazing tour. Ed and his wife are wonderful couples that made our trip very special. They are very energetic and made us feel very comfortable throughout the tour. They put a lot of effort in chasing Northern lights and took a lot of great pictures for us too. If I can give more than 5 stars, I would like to give them 10 stars.
This has to be the best road trip of my life. Ed is such an amazing guy, he was more enthusiastic than any of us and ensured that we get the best out from that trip. This was the highlight of our trip. We saw the most magical sunset of our lives. He took the most amazing pictures of us. Finally in the evening we made it to the Arctic circle and along with the certificate he got us the best cakes to celebrate that moment. That was super sweet. In the end, while returning he would continuously look for aurora, stop the car and take pictures of us. OMG!!! he was never tired of us taking pictures. Thank you so much Ed for making this once in a life time experience so amazing for us. Totally recommend it to everyone.
Our tour guide is Ed. He knows the road to the arctic circle well. The trip is an easy way for me to see the interior north Alaska. The tour size is small, Ed stopped at anyplace that us asked him to. If we see something beautiful, we will asked him to stop to take pictures. Sometimes he will say that the scenery is better a few miles away, He has a playful personality and like to take pictures for anyone on the tour. Ed also drove carefully. I felt safe the whole trip. He deserves more reservations for his tour.
Not much for tours, as I like to adventure on my own. I was proven wrong about tours after going on this specific full day arctic circle tour! Both tour guides were very respectful, knowledgeable, and eager to help all the guests on the trip. Additionally they were very humorous and did everything they could to give us the full experience including the northern lights! Once again I can't thank both the tour guides enough for giving me and my friend an amazing experience!
My friends and I recently embarked on an Arctic Circle adventure with Ed's family-owned tour company, and it turned out to be an absolutely enchanting experience! We signed up for the Arctic Circle Tour with Alaska Tour Guide and we couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable and memorable trip. The fact that this is a family-owned business added a personal touch to the whole experience, making it even better than we could have imagined. Ed and his family's warmth and genuine care for their guests shone through every aspect of the tour, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that's unparalleled by larger travel companies. From the very beginning, Ed was exceptionally friendly, patient, and professional. His passion for the Arctic and the Northern Lights was truly contagious, and his wealth of knowledge about the area and the phenomenon greatly enhanced our experience. Ed's photography skills are second to none! He took the time to capture stunning pictures of us with the magical aurora in the background, and he was more than happy to share his expertise to help us take our own beautiful photos. He even took the extra time to ensure that everyone in the group had a chance to get the perfect shot, without ever making us feel rushed. The tour was meticulously planned, with frequent stops for breaks and snacks, ensuring that we were always comfortable and well-fed. The food and drinks provided were delicious and perfectly suited for the chilly Arctic environment. Ed also made sure to choose the most picturesque spots for our stops, giving us ample opportunities to take in the breathtaking scenery and capture some incredible memories. What really set Ed's tour apart was his unwavering dedication to his guests' satisfaction. He went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best possible chance of witnessing the aurora, constantly monitoring the weather conditions and adjusting our itinerary accordingly. His genuine kindness and attentiveness made us feel like we were not just tourists, but his personal guests. Our Arctic Circle adventure with Ed's family-owned tour company was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will treasure forever. His professionalism, kindness, and photography skills truly made the tour unforgettable. If you are considering an Artic Circle tour or want to go for Northern Light Aurora Hunting tour, look no further than Ed's family-owned company - you will not be disappointed!
Iliana and her husband did an excellent job showing us the beautiful scenery and providing excellent picture opportunities. It was an excellent experience!
Elena and Ed are the best tour operators / guides, ever!!!! I felt welcomed, accommodated by the experienced pair of guides, who are very knowledgeable about the areas we visited. We took a ton of pictures and stopped along the way wherever we felt was safe and picturesque. I'm carrying home a lifelong memories of Aurora Borealis, hanging out at Arctic Circle Base Camp, cruising along Dalton Highway, Standing on the frozen mighty Yukon River and all the wonderful nature around us going from North Pole to Arctic Circle. Kudos to Elena, Ed and Emma for the amazing family run operation! Absolute joy talking to you guys and all the laughs 😀 I never felt a dull moment during the entire full day tour! I highly recommend the tour 👍👍
Our guide picked us up at our accommodation at 10.00 am. Walking the Dalton Highway to the Arctic Circle was a magnificent discovery.... All these huge landscapes... with a guide who knew the road well, and gave us plenty of information among others about the pipeline. He took care of us with good meals, snacks and plenty of water. It was a great experience that I recommend.
