2-hour Guided Snowmobile Tour In Fairbanks

We had a great experience! Tour lasts for a few hours and our guide was very informative. We rode up to incredible vantage point where the view was beautiful. You also get to learn about local foliage and animals. Definitely worth it!

We had a great time on our Snow Sleighers snowmobiling adventure!  Indy was our guide.  She got us set up with gear and gave us great instructions!  There were a couple of tricky sections on the track and she guided us through them perfectly.  The heated handlebars on the snowmobiles were so nice!

I and my wife did a snowmobiling tour with Fairbanks Snow Sleighers and took their local tour package. It was an amazing adventure and truly a memorable experience for us. Our guide, Mr. Ian, was extremely kind, patient, and supportive. He taught us how to ride the snowmobile very carefully and made sure we were comfortable and confident before we started. We got to ride for about 2.5 hours through the beautiful forest, and the whole experience was absolutely wonderful. Mr. Ian also took lots of great photos and videos for us during and after the ride, which made the trip even more special. This was truly a lifetime memory, and I would absolutely love to do this adventure again with them. The trails were beautiful and Kirk was super helpful, great teacher and he made sure we were comfortable with each part of the ride, he made sure we took well timed brakes and let us know about the trail ahead and the trees and wildlife in the area, felt like a new friend by the end

This was by far one of our favourite activities in Fairbanks! The Guide was awesome and got us geared up really well to make sure we were warm, easy to follow instructions on how to ride the snowmobile and operate it. And a beautiful tour overall. Would highly recommend!

My fiancé and I had an amazing time on our snowmobile guided tour! Our guide, Bow, was absolutely fantastic — super down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and clearly skilled at what he does. We came in with very different levels of experience, but Bow made the trail fun and exciting for both of us. The route he took us on had the perfect mix of beautiful scenery and thrilling stretches, and he made sure we were both comfortable and confident the entire time. Our Photo tour guide arranged a 2 hour snowmobile tour during our trip to Fairbanks this past Wednesday. IT WAS AMAZING!!!. Bow and Colton were our guides and did an outstanding job. They made the ride so cool. Great guys with an awesome setup. All six of us had a blast. Definitely would do it again and probably an aurora tip or bump up to intermediate skill level

Just incredible! For a person never been on a mobile before after Colton’s great instructions, I felt so comfortable. Bow let us on an action packed two hours of beautiful scenic fun through the snowy valley north of Fairbanks. The machines ran well, Bow was friendly, and everyone enjoyed themselves. We had two younger teens with us, riding on the backs of the snow machines, and they had a blast. I think it helps if you’ve had some experience working a thumb throttle before, but both seemed more than prepared to work with any level of experience.

The day was a perfect day~Colton & Josh was super friendly great guys & guides!! I’ve been snow machining twice and first time I had to stay in the ruts of other snow machines and was constantly falling out. They maintain their trails with a comb they hook on the back of the snow machines, making the trails much smoother and more forgiving. Much better for beginners like me!~my kiddo’s review. Only negative was my snow machine kept overheating & beeping. To cool it down I had to drive it in deeper powder. The kill switch nob was missing so they had to use pliers to pull it back up because I bumped it a few times accidentally. Not a big deal though. ;-) A great time had by all~all thumbs up!

Absolutely great experience. Our guide, Colton, was great and fun to be with. The kids had a blast and so did the adults. Scenery was stunning and the snowmobiles were easy to ride and a lot of fun. One of the best tours we have ever experienced.

Our 2 hour trip with Bow as our guide was outstanding! He provided snow pants and boots to keep us warm while riding snow machines through the forest and over frozen lakes and rivers. Definitely one of the highlights of our winter trip to Fairbanks! And I will add that heated handgrips are one of the best inventions ever!

Wow! What an awesome experience! Josh, our guide took such great care of us! Safety briefings, instructions, gear, and we took off through the gold stream wilderness. Josh showed us cool things about the environment, let us challenge ourselves in the snow, and we thoroughly enjoyed this adventure! A must do to get the total Arctic experience!

The equipment was new and up to date and in very good condition. Our tour guide (Bow) was very knowledgeable and new the trail very well. I would recommend Bow as a great guide.

Great time! Bow took us out and we got to see two moose. It was our first time snowmobiling and he took his time with us. I was able to borrow some bibs to stay warm. Overall awesome experience would highly recommend.

This is the snowmobile tour to take! Beau and Jeff did an excellent job assuring we were well trained before we took off through the snow covered trails. We stopped for photos, rode across a frozen lake and saw some animal tracks. We wanted to take the aurora night tour as well but it was too cloudy. Next time!

We had an amazing experience! Our guide was funny and knowledgeable. The snowmobiles are brand new and easy to operate! My husband and I loved getting to spend the afternoon with Coltney. He stopped and showed me all the animal tracks and explained a lot of the nature that was around us. 10/10 recommend!

As a first-timer, I was a bit nervous, but Bow,our guide was so thorough with instructions and really made me feel at ease. The small group was perfect—it felt personal and allowed the tour to be adjusted to everyone’s skill level. It wasn’t rushed, and I could enjoy the ride at my own pace. The scenery was absolutely unreal. Snow-covered mountains, frozen rivers, and endless white landscapes—it really felt like I was in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by pure beauty. Bow also took great photos throughout the tour, capturing some of the most stunning views. It was such a great way to remember the experience. If you’re looking to explore the Alaskan wilderness, I highly recommend this company. They’ll take great care of you, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced rider. It’s definitely something I’ll never forget!

They are great! The 2 guys that were there with us I think it was Colton and Bow (sorry if I got the names wrong 😑) were very welcoming, knowledgeable and great! The tour was awesome! They had bibs, boots, everything you need to make the experience better. They made sure we were safe and warm. Thank you so much for doing our last day here so awesome! Really recommend.

For the first timers, we learned the basics to operate snowmobiles. Bow, our guide, led us through the trail which had up and down, narrow and wide areas. It was fun to experience different terrain.

Bow was an amazing guide. He was very personable and knowledgeable. This was the highlight of our trip while in Fairbanks. Bow was very professional. When I crashed lol he came straight to my rescue. The snow machines were top notch h, brand new ! Colton wasn’t our guide but he was helpful as well. The dogs were a bonus my daughter loved them !

We had an absolute blast! The guides were very patient and accommodating! They made frequent stops to make sure we were warm and kept a good pace! Highly recommend to anybody who wants to have a good time.

A nice ride with a nice group. Good and friendly guides. The only downside is that they didn’t have pants big enough for this short, very round woman.

Fantastic trip, amazing guide, beautiful landscape!! Highly recommend! The organization, attention to detail was outstanding!

Victoria was our guide foe two novice riders. She made sure we were comfortable with the new snowmobiles. We started on a small track to familiarize us with the equipment then we went for a ride through the forest. We went the speeds that were comfortable. Some in the group stayed at about 30 mph but on the straightaway we were able to get up to 50 mph. The clothes provided kept us warm

(Dog sledding is the other way!) Had a terrific time. There were three machines in the tour. Bo (sorry, not sure of the spelling) was a great guide. He made sure we were properly dressed. It was -4 when we left. He showed us how to run the machines (2 of us were experienced but always good to make sure). The trails were absolutely a blast to ride on. Well maintained, in the woods, in open areas. I was impressed to see him looking back often to make sure the group was ok. Definitely would go with Snow Sleighers again! Maybe do the Aurora Tour next time.

We went at 1pm for 2 hours. As a beginner, I did great! Easy to operate. The instructions were very straight forward. The weather was amazing, so it made the tour even better! We used the boots, helmets and gloves that were provided! Amazing experience of riding through the arctic and enchanted tundra! We would do it again. Hopefully, next time! And our guide was funny! And so friendly.

Beau was a great guide and took us on an epic ride. We all had a blast and even saw some wildlife. I highly recommend them.

The trails we went on made you feel like you were experiencing the remote parts of Alaska. Boe, our guide, was very informative, friendly and down to earth. We felt safe and he would stop to make sure all riders were OK and answer any questions. Six (6) stars for Boe. When you book you do not know what your experance will be but this was great. May be going back before we leave.

Beaux is very welcoming and passionate. He led us on the snowmobile tour and taught us how to operate the snowmobile. Really enjoyed it and highly recommend!
