Beautiful gotel in a even more beautiful setting in the most Northern town in Iceland. We went for dinner in their Sunna restaurant and it was delicious. The best part is that you can relax in their hottub in the harbour!

My fiancée and I planned on camping in Siglo, however the weather was less than ideal, so we decided to stay at the Siglo Hotel. It honestly became a highlight of our 2 week trip! The hotel itself is extremely nice, as well as the rooms. Great reading nook, heated floors in the bathroom and large comfortable bed. The breakfast was also absolutely fantastic. We will absolutely be coming back!
Our stay at the Siglo Hotel was wonderful. Definitely a 4 star experience. A nice stone hot spa. There was a sauna too, but we couldn’t get it to heat up. Room was very comfortable. Unless you plan on taking a tour, you onky an hour to walk around this quaint town. Another 1-2 hours if you decide to visit the Herring Museum. (We found the 3 star rated hotels here in Iceland to be overated and most are really 2 star at best - mini rooms, even smaller bathrooms and limited amenities. So spending a bit more for a 4 star experience when available is definitely worth it. And in some cases, we got a much better value.)
Very lovely, aesthetic hotel in Siglo. Central location on the water and across from the herring museum. Especially enjoyed the hot tub and sauna, with bathrobes and slippers in your room. Easy check-in. Didn’t eat at the restaurant except for breakfast, which was fine.
Beautiful hotel build next to a small a marina and with a snowy mountain backdrop.. What a life! I enjoy my one night stay here and a dip on the hot tub in the late evening. I wish I can stay longer, but have others beautiful scenery to catch..
