Cotes De Provence Wine Tour From Aix-en-provence

Our guide was good, (an Italian guy—I forget his name). He took us to two wineries. The first one was great. 5 stars. Château De Beaupré. The wines were very good. We bought a few bottles to drink while we are here. We didn’t like the second winery at all. We didn’t like any if the wines, and they didn’t allow us to take their red blends. Chateau Barebelle. If that winery stays on the tour, you should reverse the order and save the best for last. Everyone in our group felt the same way.

Highly recommend this tour - our tour guide Remy was so knowledgeable it was a very enjoyable and interesting day. We visited two winery’s where we tried lots of different wines. Couldn’t have asked for a better day!

Excellent wine tours! Our guide took us to two amazing wineries where we learned a lot about the vegetation, types of wine, & aop standards in Provence. The selections were lovely & the pours were generous. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable & we really enjoyed our time!

Our tour guide was lovely, knowledgeable and professional. The vehicle used to drive us to the wineries was clean and large enough for our group of five. At the wineries we were offered many varieties and did not feel rushed. We merged with another group and the other guide provided an explanation of what we were drinking. Each facility had a shop for purchases. Overall the experience was excellent and provided an opportunity to get out of the city and do something different En Provence.

Greg was a friendly, knowledgeable guide and we enjoyed his humor. The two vineyards we visited were family run and in beautiful settings and we tasted 2 whites, 2 reds and 2 roses at each. Group was small-8 people- which we thought was a perfect size. We chatted with each other and asked a lot of questions. Because the two wineries you visit change, we would do this tour again (and again).

She was such a delight and knew so much. Very pleasant we would definitely book again with her.

Fantastic experience! My friend & k had a great time. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, tailoring her discussion to the group’s energy. Van was comfy (and I appreciated the microphone/speaker set up, as I was in the very back). The two vineyards chosen were both small and family-owner, which I liked. I felt like I learned a lot & had fun, too!

Beautiful tour, it was so nice to get away from the huddle and bussle of the city and listen to the history of the wine making in the area. The wine was delicious and the guide was very knowledgeable.

This tour was great! Would definitely recommend. The second winery we visited was fabulous. We got to see the harvest in action, the wine was tasty and the property was stunning. Our guide, Greg, made the experience very entertaining - his personality and knowledge was great!

We had a fabulous experience visiting two family owned wineries and tasting several wonderful wines. Transportation to and from the wineries was clean and efficient. Our favorite part of the tour was our excellent guide Greg. Greg is very knowledgeable about the region and the wines, answering all of our questions, and was very humorous. We will be recommending to all of our friends and family!

Excellent tour! We went to 2 wineries and our tour guide Greg was excellent!

The vineyards are about 30mins outside the city center, the perfect distance to explore. The views of the countryside are incredible! Both wineries were excellent with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Our tour host, Marion, was very friendly and incredible knowledgeable. She really enhanced the experience and was able to answer questions and explain the wine form the region. Highly recommend this tour!

Greg was absolutely exceptional! Our day touring Châteauneuf-du-Pape with him was truly one of the highlights of our trip. He was incredibly knowledgeable, but also funny, genuine, kind, and thoughtful…the kind of person you feel like you’ve known for many years. Every detail of the day felt perfectly considered, and the lunch he recommended was hands-down the best meal we’ve had during our entire trip through Europe. We learned so much, laughed a lot, drank some wonderful wine, and genuinely loved spending the day with him. If you’re considering a tour with A la Française, ask for Greg. We couldn’t recommend him enough!

Marion B was wonderful full of jokes. If you have a joke she loves it. Had a lot of information to share on wine and area. Likes questions. We will do this again. 1st place we went too was Jas Montes winery. Loved it very good tour and loved Gerard and of course the wines. 2nd place was Mas de Cadenet winery what can I say Mary was wonderful. I tried to to get our group over for Lamb and wine dinner that she was cooking but did not work. Haha. We loved the wine as well. Everyone that was involved was absolutely wonderful!

Jesse was very knowledgeable about the area. He took us to two beautiful vineyards. He knew their history, and made it a relaxing tour. We were with another couple, he engaged with all of us making us feel included. The vineyards were not busy, or overcrowded. We took our time at each vineyard and enjoyed the tasting, we didn’t feel rushed. Definitely worth the price.

We had a great afternoon on our wine tour with our host Adrian. He took us to two wineries and was knowledgeable about the wines, regions and winemaking process. Adrian was friendly, relaxed and we laughed and learned lots throughout the day, alongside drinking some lovely wine. One of the highlights of our trip and would definitely recommend!

Amazing experience! Our tour guide was Coco and she was wonderful. She talked about the mountains and the region during our ride to the vineyards. The vineyard tours were great. She was very good about explaining the process and gave suggestions during the tasting as to what to think about and note as we tasted each wine. We enjoyed our time on this tour!

We had a good time overall, but afterwards we felt it was quite expensive for what was offered. The guides were very friendly and made the experience enjoyable. However, at the second wine domain we were shown around by someone from the estate who didn’t really take the time to explain much. The visit felt rushed, we were outside again quite quickly, and we didn’t learn much about the winery or the wines compared to the first stop.

The vineyard tour was amazing, I learned so much about the region’s wines as well as the local history. I also had the chance to visit some truly beautiful places in comfort. My guide Greg was incredibly knowledgable, and very fun, he helped the whole group to bond with one another on this truly unforgettable experience.

This was a wonderful experience!! It was a small group if 3 ( not including our guide) who was amazing (Susanna) l. Not only was she very knowledgeable about wines wand the process, she was very sweet and helpful in translating for us. Though it was a short tour, I would recommend it. It wasn’t rushed; it was relaxed and enjoyable. And the wines were great!!

Greg was amazing. He was extremely knowledgable about wine in the Provence area and made the group feel very comfortable and welcome. We went to two different wineries and tried a variety of roses, white and red wine all of which were exceptional. The scenery was incredible. This is a must do experience whilst in Aix en Provence.

I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Our guide Celestine was terrific: friendly, knowledgeable, and an excellent driver. The two wineries we visited were both lovely, and our small group was very pleasant. And the logistics of meeting and departing from an easy/central spot in Aix were perfect. Highly recommend!

Very good tour in two nice, picturesque wineries with excellent product. I’m not sure if it is possible to select your tour guide but we had Greg and we can’t recommend him highly enough. Greg has excellent knowledge on the various wine we tried but it was also very interesting to discuss the broader wine industry with him. He had excellent knowledge on French wine generally. He should also be commended for his general personality and ability to balance the educational part of the tour and providing space for other tour participants to chat and get to know each other. He acted like an excellent host for a very enjoyable afternoon.

Great intro to wine tasting in a Provence! Our guide was very nice and explained a lot about the process of wine making and the area of Provence. The sprinter van was very comfortable and the AC was 10/10. We really enjoyed the second winery! Overall, would recommend.

Our tour guide Coco was lovely and very knowledgeable. We ended up in a small group of four that felt like a private tour. Every wine was top notch. The countryside outside of Aix was stunning.

Our tour took us to two small and fantastic vineyards. The wine, especially the Rosé, was top notch.

We arrived to Aix-en-Provence early in the morning and signed up for this excursion as our first outing. Here for 4 nights and without a car, this was a nice way to ease into seeing the area beyond the city and taste some regional wines. The guides were nice, very informative, and made the trip enjoyable. The van was clean and comfortable. The first location we went to was set in a beautiful setting and we were given the opportunity to see where the wine making process was. The second location was a bit underwhelming, merely set up for tasting and not to see and enjoy the property. It was less prepared for visitors and was just set up for pours/tasting. Overall we enjoyed ourselves but if you are here in the area for less than 4 nights, this is not a must do excursions to get a true Aix experience. Perfect experience for a few hours to kill before dinner.
