We staid here as a family of four and had a comfortable room - the interior had a nice retro style (70s maybe?). The lamps were special, we also liked the record player. Bathroom was bright and clean with L‘Occitane amenities :-) (love it). 5-7 minutes walking distance to the city center, only. Lots of good little restaurants. We would choose this hotel gain.
We had to stay here as an emergency stop. The hotel is overpriced. The bed was comfortable but little things like a shower that was impossible to use without flooding the floor, tiny towels, no towel rails (where do you put a wet towel), no milk for tea - there wasn't even a tiny long life container - 3 tea bags in total (all different so tough if you partner wants the same). To top it off breakfast is extra which for a EU165 room is a bit ridiculous. On the + side, the young night manager, it was his first night there, did a good job. The bed was very comfortable and the location excellent with a 5 minutes walk to the centre of town for breakfast and a look around. Bottom line is the little things just made the property seem more like a budget hotel than a 4 star on a 4 star price.

Brilliant location ; sizeable rooms; great breakfast; exceptional staff/service. Easy walk from central bus terminal and across the road for train to Marsalis. Rooms were good size, large bathroom also; beds and pillows very comfortable. Still and sparkling water available on our floor for refilling during the night. We were 3 family members travelling parents with adult daughter. In the heart of the town - walk to everything - markets, Christmas festivities; restaurants etc. We accidentally left personal belongings behind and the staff were fantastic in helping us organise to have them sent (at our cost) to our next location.
We love Aix and we have stayed at different hotels in and around town before. This time we stayed four nights at this hotel and we love it. First of all the service was excellent. Emma, Tristana, Naomie and Nasrat treated us warmly and made us feel at home. They made us want to go back there and visit “family”. To us, the room and location are secondary but they were also great. We had a clean, bright, bigger room with en-suite bathroom and a bathtub. The hotel is close to transportation-buses and taxis are just in front of the building. The train station, the Rotonde, and the Office de Tourisme are only five minute walk away.
