The driver, Rahman, picked us up from our hotel in Delhi on time. The vehicle and driver were excellent. The tour was excellent with Javed. He was very knowledgeable, but also kept the tour moving along. He suggested some excellent places for photos. Everything was extremely smooth and easy. Our lunch at Pinch of Spice was delicious with plenty of food. Every dish was delicious.

Muzammil was the most fantastic guide we could possibly have hoped for. He was knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating, and excellent to talk to on many topics from history, to culture, to general chit chat. He was also a great photographer and knew some great spots to take us to. My mother and I had a brilliant time with him, we just wish we’d had more time to be shown further around Agra. If we come back to Agra or other nearby areas in the future, we shall certainly be reaching out!

We had an amazing guide: Muzammil Husain. We spent two days with him. Ask for him! Book him! He is an expert historian of the area. He carefully explains everything you are seeing, puts his information in the context of other sites, historical time, and events. He helps you imagine what it was like when the emperors/royalty were there (people, animals, furnishings, music, costumes...), bringing the history and sites alive. He is endlessly patient and he is kind. He goes at your pace. We've had a lot of guides in different parts of the world. Muzammil ranks at the top.

This was a wonderful tour with the best tour guide. Muzammil takes excellent care of his guests doing everything from securing safe and comfortable transportation to recommending and sitting with us for a meal afterwards. His knowledge of the site and attention to details made our tour of the Taj Mahal another memorable one. I had the great pleasure of experiencing the Taj Mahal Sunrise Tour with Muzammil, arranged by The Oberoi Amarvilas in Agra. We met in the hotel lobby and took the golf cart to the entrance of the Taj Mahal. Thanks to him, I could skip the long lines and immediately enjoy the beauty of this iconic site. As we entered, Muzammil explained the first breathtaking impression of the Taj Mahal seen through the grand entrance gate. He then guided me to the perfect photo spot where the Taj Mahal reflected in the water during the magical morning light. He even positioned me at the right place and took stunning photos – memories I will treasure forever. We continued to the famous Diana Bench for another classic view. Along the way, Muzammil brought history to life by vividly telling the love story of Emperor Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. His storytelling, in excellent English, made the scenes unfold in my imagination as if I had traveled back in time. He explained the architecture, the special marble, the floral decorations, and the inscriptions in remarkable detail. So impressed by his guiding, I immediately booked him also for the afternoon tour of Agra Fort and Itimad-ud-Daulah. At Agra Fort, his narration was so vivid that I could almost see the elephants carrying Shah Jahan into the fort in full splendor. We explored the Diwan-i-Aam and the Musamman Burj, the octagonal tower where Shah Jahan spent his last seven years with a view of the Taj Mahal. Itimad-ud-Daulah beautifully completed the story of the Taj Mahal, and Muzammil made it all deeply meaningful and memorable. We finished the day at Kalakriti, where I could witness the incredible craftsmanship of marble inlay work, closely connected to the Taj Mahal itself. I truly consider myself lucky to have had Muzammil as my guide. His passion, knowledge, and storytelling skills are outstanding, and he made my visit to Agra unforgettable. We are still in touch – and who knows, perhaps I will return one day. I can wholeheartedly recommend Muzammil to anyone visiting Agra.

I was on a solo trip for my first visit to India and decided at the last minute to book this tour instead of visiting the Taj Mahal and Agra myself. Best decision of my trip. The guide was an expert on both the attractions we visited and the history behind them. He knew all the secret photo spots, helped to avoid crowds to maximize my time, and had excellent recommendations for some very specific souvenirs I was searching for (and even got me some discounts on them). I can't recommend this tour enough - nothing beats a tour with a native of the area, and it'd be a bargain at twice the price.

I would recommend Muzammil in an instant to anyone planning a trip to India and hope to find my way back for another trip in the future. The experience was amazing and having the knowledge and guidance of a professional makes a world of difference. He is extremely knowledgable in the history and background and shares it all while exploring the area. While the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort were certainly a highlight, having Mazammil show me around Agra as well as the local arts and crafts just made the trip that much better. I was solo for this trip and never had any troubles or concerns so can certainly recommend for any solo travelers in the area. This one of the best guide experience I have ever had. Muzammil was an amazing guide. He was super knowledgeable and could super deep on anything and did a fantastic job brining the history to life. He also does a great job taking you beyond "the beaten path", for example by taking us to a tour of street food in Agra (he volunteered that without us asking). He also did a great job organizing everything so the experience was seamless. Cannot recommend enough.

We spent two days on tour with Muzammil. Visited the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Itmad-Ud-Daulah mausoleum (not to miss!). On our second day we went to Fatehpur Sikri. What a wonderful example of Mughal arquitecture. Do not miss the impressive mosque and gate of victory.

Yesterday we did have a perfect day at the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Actually it was my second visit after 10 years, so I kind of knew what to expect and how the organization is handled there. Well, we have been really lucky with our guide Muzammil. Not only accelerate he things at the entrance and guided us around all the long queues but also gave us the time to relax and inhale the magic of this place. After traveling India for over half a year I can say he is in the top 1 percent of guides I came in contact with during that time. What you will get: - A very knowledgeable guy that gives you all the information about history and architecture in small pieces at the right places of the site. - You can really feel he likes his job. So expect an enthusiastic tour. - He speaks very understandable and fluent English with almost no Indian accent (which can be challenging sometimes) at a nice and comfortable tone. - He will show you the best photo spots but also gives you enough time and free space for taking your pictures and enjoy your stay. - And last but not least he looks like the Indian version of the actor Matthew McConaughey. What is there more to ask for? I am sure you will have a great day just as we did.

Excellent visit to the Taj Mahal with Muzammil! Very informative. He gave us the historical background and pointed out many features of the architecture and design. After the tour, he took us to a workshop to see a brief demonstration regarding the inlay work that was done centuries ago when the Taj Mahal was built. Fascinating, intricate, painstaking, and symmetrical.

Muzammil is an excellent guide! He is kind, knowledgeable, patient, and customized our Agra tour perfectly to the needs and preferences of our group. We had the best time visiting and learning about Agra with him and couldn’t have experienced what we did without him. From seamlessly visiting the Taj Mahal, to eating delicious regional snacks and lunch, to meeting local artisans, and helping us find a sari for the wedding we were attending, it was a great visit facilitated by Muzammil. Our train was also very delayed getting into town and he expertly handled and adjusted our tour as needed, even staying late to make sure we had a full day. We made last minute plans to visit the Taj Mahal for sunset and (it being our first time in Agra) didn't know about the 45min pre-sunset closing time of the ticket office. Despite knowing how rushed we would be to get there before the ticket office closed for the night, Muzammil agreed to accompany us and try! That gesture alone showed us how much he cares about visitors having a great experience. However, with his knowledge of the entry process, we were able to make it in as the last three visitors for the day. Afterwards he showed us some hidden gems of Agra that we would never have witnessed, like the beautiful hand-inlayed marble goods and furniture made by local artisans. We had a wonderful experience with him and would recommend his tours to any and all.
