Amit our guide was full of energy & very knowledgeable. Good fun too! We hopped on the metro, walked the busy streets & alleyways, jumped on & off TukTuk’s. Saw some real India. Recommended.

The description says pickup is included. This meant the guide would greet us at the hotel and then ask us to pay for a tuk tuk to the start location. All in all the walk lasted for less than an hour. We visited a mosque and were asked to pay for a man to look after our shoes for less than 10 mins. We were taken through a crazy market full of honking vehicles and gridlocked traffic with people. The guide said little during the way other than lead us through the horrific traffic. We did not learn anything about the history of the place or anything remotely interesting. We made our way back after the tour but not before the guide offered his services the next day. Would not recommend this tour to anyone. Honestly waste of time and money. Not sure where all the previous positive reviews came from. We have been on lots of guided tours in the past and we have lots to compare this tour with. This was not a good tour. Tip to the organiser to improve the experience - arrange a meeting point that is central which can be accessed easily, when you advertise "pick up in included" this means that the person should be picked up from the location, consider telling people much more about the history of the place and engage the customer by asking questions, simply pointing to something in a market and saying "this is the wedding section" is not enough, any costs that need to be spent by the guest needs to be mentioned in the booking upfront and finally if the tour is advertised as 2-3 hours then it should be 2-3 hours and not 50 mins.
Ritik was a great guide full of insights from the origins of Agra to the present day. We strolled through markets, visited a Shiva Temple and saw some wonderful handicraft art. Ritik gives a great feel if the city, what it is like to live here today and what some of his favorite places are. We talked about weddings, fashion, food and mogul kings and dynasties and the art of driving in Agra! If you really want to feel at home in Agra and love history, culture and the city experience would really recommend this tour. Thank you Ritik for great fun and conversation along the way …
It was a truly informative and interesting walk.Ritik was very good at explaining the history and culture of the old city. We also savored the local cuisine and the local handicrafts (zardosi) Thank you Rithik for an immersive experience..
A really simple and easy walking your around the Agra station and Mosque. Ritik was easy company (and restored my faith back in guides of Agra) he was very knowledgeable of the history of this region. A little bit of everything in this short trip; a spicy drive, tasty refreshments, some mixed hidden temple time, and just easy conversation. We almost blended in, and I loved it.
Absolutely interesting and great tour. you will have a walk in the lively old streets of Agra and appreciate the mix of cultures that met and overlapped across time here. Ritik has been an awesome guide and gave a very detailed historical and cultural insight at every stop of the tour. I really enjoyed it all i would recommend this tour to anyone in Agra.
The guide took us to hidden spots around taj mahal, throught the small streets of the old town, and we had an amazing and empty view from the sunset. We went to a really fancy bar with Taj view for a beer after sunset. I highly reccomend him for a non obvious walking tour in Agra
Wonderful guide, excellent itinerary —quite personal & customized. I got a more intimate experience than any other and truly felt like it was a peek into authentic local life. The guide took care of transportation, entry and even snacks/refreshments. Awesome value!
The tour was wonderful! Such a cool experience I didn’t expect to have in India. I appreciated getting a feel for local culture. The vibe was awesome. I recommend this tour!
As a 1st time solo, female visitor to India, Agra’s packed and chaotic streets looked a bit intimidating. But Amit made me feel safe and comfortable while bring me by a lot of great sights
It was nice but yeh walk was kind of short and we had to ask to see the mosque entrance door and other stuff. Okay but overpriced.
Nazim is a great and very knowledgeable guide. Very friendly and I learned lots about the less beaten track of Agra. Highly recommend it!
I did this tour and another. The guides were both really nice, so I've given 3 stars instead of the 1 theh deserve. I was shortchanged both times on. Length of tour. The first time my guide was 20 mins late and instead of the advertised 2-3 hours it was 1 hr 15. My second tour visiting the Taj was also extremely short. Bearing in mind, it's a 10 minute walk to the monument from where I was picked up at 8.30, when at 9.30 the guide said he'd meet me outside in 25 mins I was shocked. This makes the tours run by Trocals extremely expensive for what you get and complaint was dismissed. I'd suggest you book elsewhere.
I did the sunset walk this afternoon. The Guide was super informative and really pleasant. He walked me round where only locals go and it was really enlighting to hear little known facts about the Taj Mahal and the wives of the Shah. Then, a little a surcharge for a quick ride out to the middle of the River Yamuna for a wonderful view of the Taj. 100% worth it. I was so impressed with Trocals, I booked another tour tomorrow.
This was one of the most interesting tours we experienced in India. We got to experience a part of the city that we would not have experienced on our own. Ritik was very knowledgeable and interesting. Also he is legitimately fluent in English. This was not true of alot of the English speaking tour guides we had on our trip. I highly recommend this tour and wish we had book more tours with Trocals.
Alongside seeing the Taj Mahal, for me, it was important to see the city that was its home. I wanted to be on the ground and see the city that local people lived in, go the restaurants and temples they went to. With Amir, we felt like we were in very safe hands to do this. I went to a mosque for the very first time and I tried desserts that I will definitely be seeking out when I return home. The Agra walking tour with Amir is one of my favourite tours that I've taken in India so far.
Very good experience Myself & my wife very happy.❤️❤️ highly recommend and you must Do it. We really had a nice time
I’m so glad I booked this tour last minute. On the day of my arrival into Agra I made lots of last minute changes due to the heat and I’m so grateful for Ritik’s accommodations to my requests. Ritik was very flexible, friendly and knowledge. It was a joy listening to him explain the history of Agra and it’s clear he’s very passionate about it. Would recommend to friends and family wanting to visit one day!
Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to venture off the beaten path and discover culture and lifestyle in India. Ritik is very professional, communicative, detailed, responsive, and accommodating. Be rest assured you're safe and in good hands.
This was the best tour imaginable! Our guide, Asif, was absolutely fantastic and guided us around the city all day. The walking tour of the old city was great -- we got to see so much more of Agra than just the Taj. Ritik, the owner of Trocals, also came to meet with us multiple times and was so friendly and welcoming. I would highly, highly recommend this Trocals to anyone visiting India!! They will completely craft a tour/experience for whatever you want to see and do. Trocals went above and beyond!!
We had an excellent tour with Ritik to get a fascinating glimpse of Agra away from the tourist high spots. We walked through the old town through the bazaar stopped of at the mosque and a Hindu temple where a basic explanation of Hinduism and the gods and there incarnations was provided which was great and the first time anyone has done this on our many visits to temples. In addition the architecture and history of the buildings was explained as we walked around. An excellent tour that I would recommend. 2 things to note, Ritik came and picked us up from our Homestay rather than meet him in the old town. There was an issue with the pricing on the website and email confirmation we received, it was less than the actual price, however Ritik dealt with the issue superbly and honoured the price on our confirmation. So I would just check the price but to be honest it would have been good value at the correct price. Would highly recommend to family and friends it is nice to see the other side of Agra.
A truly immersive and extraordinary experience. Ritik is from the community and was able to not only explain the particular sites but also the meaning and history. He is passionate about Agra and it shows through his enthusiasm. I've taken walking tours In many countries and this one was most detailed and personal. Highly recommend it.
This Company is Truly Amazing to Explore Agra, Delhi and Rajasthan. Must Travel with Them atleast once. You'll love it.
I was shown a different face of the city and places that don't feature on most to-see lists. Worth a shot.
We booked for the Agra Historical Walk with Trocals and were delighted when Ritik contacted us immediately and met us at our hotel the day prior to discuss the options for his tours. He was a great help with advice and suggestions. We also opted for an evening tour behind the walls and gardens of the Taj with wonderful sunset views from the river. A fascinating insight into the history. During our lively conversations Ritik also advised us of great cafes, restaurants, Megamart and local tips to make our few days in Agra a better experience. We would highly recommend Ritik as a knowledgeable, friendly and trustworthy guide. He will also tailor his tours to appeal to your interests.
Organised this tour last minute. Really informative and interesting to see the other side of Agra...
I booked this trip last minute because I wanted to see a side of Agra that most people skip over. The tour is way of seeing both the historic treasures and the modern life of the locals.
An informative tour with interesting facts, nice and relaxed atmosphere and explored some hidden gems! The boat trip was fantastic.
My Girlfriend and I saw the taj early in the morning and then went on this sunset tour which was incredible! We got an amazing, close up, sunset view of the Taj from the river. Our guide Ritik was super friendly and knowledgeable. He told lots of history about the Taj, Agra city, culture and religion. Was happy to answer all are questions. Definitely recommend!!
We choose the sunset tour to see the Taj Mahal from a spectacular point. The guide was really nice, he was prepared and spoke very fluent English. Even if the weather was foggy and there wasn’t the typical red sky, the view was perfect and really suggestive... I would say even mysterious! I totally recommend!!

Ritik was a very informative guide, taking us to peaceful spot along the river to see an alternative view of the Taj. Excellent English. Would recommend.

Had a great walk in Arga to a spot where we could watch the sunset over the Taj Mahal away from the crowds of tourists. Guide was very knowledgeable and keen to share his knowledge about the history of Agra and the Taj. Would definitely recommend.
