Great family trip with the living encyclopedia called Michael, he knew a lot about the placed we visited and so much more!

Interesting tour in the Lassithi plateau starting in Agios Nikolaos and Kritsa.The guide Michael was great. He knew a lot about history, Greek mythology and botany. Magnificent scenery with fields of blossoming Kamille flowers.

We had only one day to spend in Crete so this was a great way to see and learn so much about the island. Unfortunately it was a cold rainy day. We even experienced hail and snow. Despite the weather, we enjoyed the trip. It would not have been possible to explore the locations on our own as some of the roads were narrow and slippery. Special highlights were stops in local towns and businesses, especially our lunch stop.

Michael was absolutely fantastic, his knowledge of the island was amazing. The highlight was feeding goats 🐐 on the side of the road, so cool. Loved visiting all the sites of Crete, a beautiful island.

Our driver & guide, Panagioti, made our tour excellent. He picked us up promptly at the cruise port and tailor made our itinerary to interest my 3 teenagers. They really wanted to see Zeus’s cave and Panagioti let us know exactly what to expect. We then went to the Mythological Thematic Park which was extremely interesting. We next had a lovely traditional Greek lunch with local wine. He then brought us to a cute seaside area about 30 minutes from the port with lots of shopping, bars, & restaurants. Panagiota was a very competent and safe driver and gave us lots of interesting history and fun facts about Crete along the way.

Me and my partner have been on this extension a few years back and had a lovely time, this time we have come to Crete with our older children (18-20years). Michael,, our tour guide was so impressive with his extensive knowledge and enthusiasm of the area. we toured the ce ce plato, witch involved a trip to the olive factory, up the mountains to see increadible views, a stop of at kristae and lots of goats that come running for the food the tour guides feed them! Our lunch was provided by demitri, with homegrown potatoes and meats. Overall a lovely day out.

Our Driver Michael was excellent and gave us a very nice day touring the eastern end of Crete. Vai and Volousma are both beaches we will return to for full days.

I have been lucky enough to go on a number of tours with the fantastic Adventure Crete. It really is true to say that without their knowledgeable, skilled drivers and comfortable off-road vehicles it would be impossible to get to and see so many of the incredible but inaccessible places Crete has to offer. I couldn't recommend their tours more highly.

Tomas provided us with a custom tour specific to our request of seeing historical and archaeological sites as well as some amazing landscapes and natural wonders. He was knowledgeable and shared stories and history of Crete and the Minoan culture from beginning to end. We even did some 4X4 off reading when a bridge was out as he found an alternative route on two track mountain roads. We also stopped at an incredible mountainside restaurant for an authentic meal cooked over an open fire. The views all day were spectacular, and the stop at the peak of a mountain where we could see both the Aegean Sea to the north and the Lybian Sea to the south took my breath away.

Petra was a wonderful guide. We really enjoyed the personalized trip with the private tour and she did a great job of showing us as much of Crete as we could squeeze in yet it felt leisurely and relaxed too. Crete is an amazingly beautiful place and you should definitely book this tour to see as much of it as you can. We were on a cruise docked in Agios Nikolaos from 8-9 and had more than enough time to do this tour and explore.

Michael was amazing! We loved this tour. We are a family of 4, with two children in their 20's. Had a blast. Michael has a great understanding of Crete, the culture, and knew how to have fun. It was, of course, amazing to see the historic sites, but the biggest memory of our trip will be feeding the wild goats, and watching 20-30 of them come running from the mountains. Michael, aka the goat whisperer, was the best!

Michael was very informative and casual. We saw the entire developed island, learned the history, enjoyed the food. He was very empathetic towards our needs (car sickness). I would recommend this tour!

We booked this tour 2 months in advance. When we got to the port, our guide met us at the terminal. As we headed out, we were detained by the port security for 90 minutes as they asked for the company’s registration and paperwork and our passports. An hour and a half into port security detention, our guide suggested that we would be better off cancelling because there was no end in sight. We walked away and missed the opportunity to see the island of Crete. Very disappointing.

Our guide Petra was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. She made the trip interesting. The food at the Taverna was fantastic and the host welcoming. The Raki was a boost too!

Such a great experience with Rolf. Really nice tour that show you some beautiful places. For us a perfect way to see a bit more of Crete.

Greatly enjoyed our VIP tour with Emmanuel as our driver/guide. We were able to see so much in our 8 hours together. He was waiting for the four of us when we got off the cruise ship. The walk up to Zeus cave was a bit much but we were rewarded with an amazing lunch following. Highly recommend!

What an amazing experience! Emmanuel was an amazing and excellent driver and guide. He took us to several places, to get a wonderful experience of Crete and the Greek island, culture and traditions. We also had a lovely meal in a wonderful restaurant and a lot of good conversations. I will definitely be booking this and other tours when I come back to Crete. We had a great time. Our tour guide was very useful and also very perceptive of what we were interested in. We loved the hiking. The lunch was very tasty and in a great setting. We also enjoyed learning about the local vegetation and getting to pick the produce and herbs along the countryside.

It was a wonderful day. Driver is an excellent guide. He knows perfectly about Greece culture . so many beautiful places and landscapes. just amazing. All at the highest level.

Fantastic day out - for all the family. Amazing driver/guide - full of so much local knowledge and great company. Such a great day exploring Crete for all of the family …it was a shame the caves were closed due to the earthquakes but the Mythology Thematic Park was a fascinating substitute place to go. Our guide made sure we had the best day.

This was easily the highlight of our trip. Our tour guide Lauren was thoughtful, kind, genuine, funny, and had a wealth of knowledge on everything Crete, and even a lot of our general questions about Greece. It was nice to feel like she really wanted to get to know us, and even more importantly, to feel the respect and appreciation the locals had for her. Her driving was safe and put me at ease, which is hard to do on the high mountain roads. There is no way my friend and I would’ve made that drive on our own. We had an insanely good lunch, and laughs and pictures and shopping throughout the day. It was quite magical, would highly recommend.

Michael, was amazing and very knowledgeable a great driver. The service was second to none and very easy to book anything we wanted was arranged without any hassle was so ever. Very honest and up front people we did the tour with two adults and three children and nothing was a hassle we had a much time as we wanted. We have vegetarian and a nut allergy and all this was captured for with not a problem. A fantastic day everyone had fun thank you Dalton Family.

<p>Our driver was great and thar we have to say thank you for.. however the trip was not what we had booked and the car was small for 5 passengers.. however again our driver was great... just make sure yiu get what you paid for</p>

What a magnificent day and beautiful, stress-free discovery, perfect organization and timing.. our guide Georges offered us an interesting tour, an olive oil production cooperative, a visit to a small church, and we crossed the mountains via very small roads aboard the air-conditioned 4x4. Georges gave us numerous explanations about the life of the Cretan inhabitants and we enjoyed a swim in the Libyan Sea. Very friendly villages and population. It was a relaxed, informative vacation day with our always charming, natural, and excellent driver guide. Thanks again with all my heart

Great day with Abel, nice adaptation to our wishes. Fortunately, the cave of Zeus is worthy after a typical Cretan meal. Prior contact to schedule pick-up at the hotel. Everything was perfect We recommend without hesitation

It was a great day! Petra brought us many great and interesting facts about the island and the people. I can really recommend the tour to anyone. Our son (2 years) was enthusiastic about the mountain goats - the view - and of course the Zeus cave. The stop at a traditional tavern was also a highlight. The barbecue :) 👍
