Agadir
Short, sun-drenched and full of surprises, this four-day escape to Agadir offers the perfect introduction to Morocco's Atlantic south — a side of the country that most travellers never reach. Known as the White City by the Sea, Agadir was rebuilt entirely from scratch after a devastating earthquake in 1960 and today stands as Morocco's most vibrant and welcoming coastal resort, with over 300 days of sunshine a year, 10 kilometres of golden Atlantic beach and a character that is entirely its own. Over three full days, this itinerary takes you from the famous sardine port and the ancient Kasbah of Agadir Oufella to the sprawling Souk al-Had, the craftsmen of the new medina, the secrets of argan oil production and the extraordinary prehistoric world of Crocoparc.
