Your guide will meet with you at your hotel lobby in Izmir city center or at Izmir port or Izmir Airport with your name sign. You will drive to Ephesus region around 1 hour.
Drive to the ancient city of Ephesus, where you'll explore the area's landmarks, attractions, and historical sites. Your guide can suggest an itinerary or you can create your own. You may visit sites such as the Sevel Sleepers, Isa bey Mosque, Sirince Village, the Selcuk Museum, the Basilica of St. John, Artemission Temple, and the Terrace Houses. Entrance fees are at your own expense. Midday, choose to stop for lunch at your own expense, your guide will be happy to suggest a place. Please be prepared for a moderate amount of walking and note that modest dress is required to enter some places of worship.
At the end of the tour, drive back to your hotel in Izmir, or to Izmir Airport or to Izmir port. End of our services.

She and the driver were prompt, on time, met us in the lobby of our hotel as planned and tailored our tour exactly per our request/priorities. An amazing day, stress free, great access and information as we toured the most fantastic site.
Our guide Ekim Ateş was excellent and created a fully customized tour for our small group of 3 adult family members. We preferred to spend more time viewing the amazing tile mosaics in the hilltop houses in Ephesus and less time at the ruins of the temple of Artemis, and Ekim accommodated our request. It does take some time to reach Ephesus from the airport, so give the amount of time spent on the return trip to the airport, next time we would probably try to spend longer as there is a lot to see if you are interested in Roman history.
This was a great tour! We had 5 girls so doing the private tour was perfect. Our tour guide & driver were awesome. Just be aware that all tours want you to stop at one of the "factories". It can be rugs, jewerly, pottery...etc. With a private tour you can decline. We did go see the leather. They even did a fashion show. The city of Efes is definitely worth seeing. Make sure to go see Virgin Mary's house.

for those with limited time and on a customizable guided tour - recommend skipping Temple of Artemis, House of Mary and lunch at neighbouring “picturesque” villages. So much to see in Ephesus - don’t miss the terrace house. Stone walkways are very slippery so wear shoes with good grip.
Absolutely perfect day! Ali was amazing, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable! He adjusted the schedule to avoid the peak crowd times and we always felt safe. I can’t recommend this tour and Ali, as the guide, enough!

Our guide, Ekim, completely made this tour. Ephesus is definitely a special place but can also be long, very busy, and overwhelming. Ekim had the perfect balance of fun, history and just a wonderful person, with so much knowledge and maturity. We've been on many tours around the world and this was one of the best. If you book this, make sure you request Ekim!
Zelda was amazing! Very knowledgeable and kind. With it so busy she was able to adapt and navigate our tour group around the long lines. We didn’t have to wait for more than a couple minutes in any line! Our driver was great too with a very nice van. Fantastic job!!
Selda was an excellent tour guide. She kept us on track and pivoted when lines were too long during a VERY hot day. She anticipated our needs so well. Tour was catered to what we wanted to do. The lunch was good but the place was a bit touristy. Very knowledgeable guide. The transport was comfortable too.
The tour of Ephesus was amazing. Our guide Hazel was very friendly and knowledgeable and allowed us to have an excellent experience. Our tour included lunch, which was traditional and delicious. Our visit to Ephesus was AMAZING! The Ephesus Experience Museum is a MUST SEE (also because there's A/C). Our guide, Ozlem, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the history, culture, and shared so much of her experience and background with us. People of the bygone days have an ingenious way of cleaning themselves after doing "their business", but don't worry it's not the kitties! Don't miss the pottery shop!

Ekim was an excellent tour guide! He was incredibly accommodating to our family of five (three adults and two 10-year-olds), making sure everyone had a great time. He even made a few extra stops that the kids really enjoyed, like a hands-on pottery-making experience. Pickup was conveniently located right at the port. The experience from start to finish was better than I anticipated. Making reservations through Ephesus shuttle was very efficient. The correspondence was excellent as any questions I had were promptly answered. Our driver, Salih, and guide,Secil, were beyond professional and friendly. Secil was flexible and made sure the day was centered around our priorities. She was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history of her country which made us excited to learn. She planned the timing of the various sites around the number of tourists so we avoided long lines. She recommended a restaurant which was delicious, and one of the best meals we have had in Turkey thus far. We were delighted that she and Salih joined us for lunch! She answered our questions even if unrelated directly to the tour. We will request her in a heart beat upon our return with other friends. And, Salih too! This is my second visit to Ephesus, I decided to go again because the first time I went in the summer and it was too hot. This time I decided to go for a private tour, our tour guide Özlem was very professional and friendly, she shared with us a lot of information and fun facts about the city and the way of life in it, we had so much fun and enjoyed the trip this time around. I would definitely recommend this tour.

The guide is very nice and well informed. He carefully discussed the itinerary with us and tried his best to satisfy our special requests. We spent more time than usual at the Ephesus Museum and the Basilica of St. John. The guide patiently waited for us. The price is also reasonable.
