Arda was fantastic! The tour of Ephesus was the highlight of our trip. The lunch was also excellent.
Elif our guide was fabulous. She was a fountain of knowledge and made the tour around Ephesus interesting. The car we were driven around in was very comfortable and clean and our driver was great. The lunch was lovely but far too much food I a felt a little guilty for not eating it all
Tolga was punctual and the driver and vehicle were clean. Tolga was knowledgeable and attentive with a fun sense of humor. Good English.
Great tour! Wonderful guide and very informative tour. Much more affordable than booking a shore excursion through the cruise line. Small group was a plus. Transportation was prompt and comfortable. Rug sales pitch was unexpected. Included lunch was delicious.
Great tour & Tolga was great!! Would recommend this tour!!
I was surprised at the value of this tour. This was excellent service!
Arda was great. Very straight to the point and answered every question, I had (no matter how silly). The museum at Ephesus was amazing and one of a kind. Arda’s guidance, as well as the tour was great.
First class all around. Pick up, the tours, lunch, flexibility were all great. Tour guide, Ibrahim was a fantastic guide.
Tolga was awesome, very knowledgeable and well worth the money.
Tour guide Goksel was outstanding in his knowledge of the local customs. He presented understandable and enjoyable commentary. He conducted the tour in a pace that was not uncomfortable, making frequent stops where necessary. The tour itself would have been more enjoyable if not for the stops at local retailers.
Excellent tour. Very informative. Incredible food. Highly recommend.
Polat Korkmaz was an amazing guide. Make sure you request him. The van was super nice, great driver and very roomy. Polat's knowledge of Ephusus was unbelievable. This tour is five star all the way.
Arda was awesome! Super knowledgeable. Super friendly. Wish we would have had more time but our ferry was late to get there and we had to get back to the boat. Arda did a great job accommodating us.
First time visiting Turkey, what an amazing way to be introduced to Turkey. My tour guide (Gigi) was super knowledgeable/ friendly/ considerate and mindful. One of the best private tours. Highly recommend tours with Gigi. Thank you so much!
Our guide Tolga was extremely knowledgeable, spoke excellent English, was very personable and was willing to be flexible with our itinerary. Not only did he make our day enjoyable, but we ended our time together feeling we made a Turkish friend. We highly recommend his tour services.
Guide was great. Very knowledgeable, great English and was very interesting
Tolga is an excellent guide and easy to deal with. He is knowledgeable and flexible with our schedule. He picked us up promptly and returned us to the port in plenty of time. The places we visited were memorable. Lunch was delicious in a private setting! Skip the line tickets were convenient and fast. He is friendly and shared his family story of being travel guides. Ephesus should be on every visitor's bucket list. Its place in Christian history is undeniable. Paul walked these streets
Excellent tour guide. Great job Gigi. We so enjoyed walking the steps of the Apostle Paul
Gulcan was incredible! Very kind, knowledgeable, and flexible! We had zero worries during the day because she took care of it all. Would absolutely book again
Gigi was a wonderful guide! Very knowledgeable & friendly & accommodating.
The guide was amazing, she was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. Lunch was delicious and plentiful with local beverages. Our guide even took us shopping on our way back to the port. We also had an excellent driver who was helpful when boarding and exiting the van. Everything was great and they made sure we arrived to the port on time. I highly recommend this tour
Guide was on time, had an extremely clean and modern tour bus, sat all of us with great room and had very clear speech the entire time on tour, great experience, definitely recommend.

Chlcan, was very informative and the tour of Espheun was fantastic! She knew her history and all, I really enjoyed this tour!!!
Our experience on the Biblical Offices Tour with lunch was outstanding from start to finish. The itinerary was well organized, informative, and gave us a deeper appreciation for the history and biblical significance of each location we visited. Our travel agent Elif Serbester, made the entire experience seamless, providing clear communication, excellent recommendations, and ensuring every detail was taken care of. We never felt rushed, and everything ran smoothly. The included lunch was delicious and a nice opportunity to relax before continuing the tour. Overall, this excursion exceeded our expectations and became one of the highlights of our trip. We highly recommend both this tour and our travel agent to anyone looking for a meaningful, enjoyable, and stress-free experience.
Our tour was absolutely amazing! It exceeded my expectations and really created a special experience for my daughter and I. Our tour guide was very charismatic and adapted to our interests. He showed us the culture in a very bright light. All of the activities we participated in were very enjoyable and entertaining. We visited ruins, and our guide gave us a lot of interesting information. One specific historical highlight that I remember is that in the old bathrooms they had a pond with frogs in the middle for noise cancellation 😂! We got to visit a local weaving store/making site. We learned a lot about the silk and what materials are used. There was a lot of culture and individuality incorporated in the rugs and their designs. We got to see pottery and learned about their family history. I truly believe that our tour guide was an extremely important part in making this trip a magical experience or in other words the highlight of our trip. His name was Arda. We got to try Turkish coffee and had a big part of their culture in eating lunch here. It was delicious 😋! We felt safe and well taken care of. The price was affordable and our money was well spent. We were here for a day as a stop in our cruise. Let me say that this was truly a wonderful experience and a great part of our trip, the best part it our trip! So, please heed my review and book this tour (and its guide) !! 😁
Excellent experience with an amazing tour guide (Tolga). You should not miss this customized experience. You will learn/do at your own pace and tailored to your interests. Be advised it is very hot in summer. Come prepared to overcome the heat: cooling towels, neck fans, hat, sun block, etc. This is top notch!
Very interactive, interesting, and full of learning moments. Would very much recommend!
We had an amazing experience! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, energetic, and had a great sense of humor that kept our whole family laughing throughout the tour. He made everything easy and enjoyable, was always on time, and made sure we stayed hydrated by providing water throughout the day. The included lunch was delicious and a nice bonus. We couldn't have asked for a better guide and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting!
Tolga is a great tour guide. He is knowledgeable, very friendly and gave my family a private tour to Ephesus and Mary’s house. My family enjoyed the tour with Tolga and we even had lunch together near the the rug making shop. The transportation was great… no waiting in the heat for the pick up. Would use Tolga again for our our guide.
We had an incredible time on the Private Ephesus Tour! Our guide Tolga was phenomenal — friendly, passionate, knowledgeable, and kept everything running smoothly. The private van was comfortable and made the whole day feel seamless. The Ephesus ruins were breathtaking, and the Turkish rug tour was a wonderful surprise highlight. Highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Kusadasi!
Tolga was a knowledgeable and gracious guide. He handled our large group well getting us to the House of Mary early and avoiding the crowds due to his knowledge of the traffic and seasonal trends. He also did an excellent job balancing giving us space to explore and providing details of the different points of interest.
Wonderful experience with Arda!
Arda is AMAZING!!!!!! Could not have asked for a better guide
Elif was an outstanding and informative tour guide, and we heartily recommend her to you. She had 15 years’ experience guiding tours in this part of Turkey (Turkiye). Our tour ran from 8:30 to 3:30 pm, which was longer than our originally advertised tour (more on that later). Our tour guide made it effortless to meet her outside the cruise terminal. Our five person group rode in a luxury van, with substantial air conditioning. Our two hour walk through Ephesus started at 9:30, and Elif took the initiative to secure free admission for our 7 year old daughter. The fee for the rest of us was 40 Euros each, payable to the tour guide. Elif was very informative, and we affirm that two hours is sufficient to convince you that you need five times that much to absorb the existing information. Excavations continue! On our way to lunch, we made a short stop to view the Basilica of Saint John (from a distance). Lunch was delicious… abundant samples of local cuisine, including a variety of traditional Turkish lunch foods. The lunch stop included a tour of a government-supported rug weaving shop. The educational value (and range of product) is very high. We aren’t experts, but found a pair of items that we purchased for a very satisfactory price — which led to the longer duration of the tour. The purchase process was easy, bargaining was low pressure, and the hard part was sticking to our budget. The carpet / lunch site co-locates with a splendid jewelry shop. Again, there was a wide variety of beautifully designed pieces, competitively priced. On our drive to our final stop (residence of Mary, Mother of Jesus), we stopped at a local baklava and Turkish delight shop. Tours frequent it, so the selection is wide and the prices are not so competitive. The Marian residence is atop a mountain near Ephesus, and again, Elif ensured our daughter was admitted free. Admission is denominated in Turkish Lira, and equated to $15 per person. Elif led us through a delightful day, and we finished it much richer than we started. One final thing… we didn’t have a good idea about gratuities. Set aside tips for the driver, guide, and staff at the carpet shop.
We had such a wonderful day! The admission fee to Ephesus was $40 per person and $15 per person at Mary’s house. We left the port around 7:45 and we returned to the port safely around 2:00 p.m. Each site my husband and I (plus our tour guide) were dropped off at the entrance and picked back up immediately after in our private van! This was a huge plus. Our tour guide took us to the site of Ephesus, museum of the site, then to an awesome rug shop to watch them weave Turkish rugs, beautiful (paid for) lunch, and finally to the house of the Virgin Mary. Every detail of the day was planned very thoroughly and our guide allowed us to make the tour our own by giving us some alone time, meetings spots, and making sure each of our personal needs were met at each site! Overall we had an amazing day, learned a lot of information, and got to see everything they had to offer in Kusadasi!
Deniz is an incredibly knowledgeable guide; we took a tour of Ephesus and Şirince with him. He truly impressed us with her knowledge, culture, and fluent, understandable English. Definitely ask Deniz about him and book a tour with him. He knows Greek and Roman history very well and introduced her country to us wonderfully. he constantly helped me despite my difficulty walking. We had a wonderful lunch and saw carpets. You absolutely must see the carpets, which are made with amazing craftsmanship.
Knowledgeable, considerate guide! Tugba exceeded our expectations in adjusting tour to our interests and pace. Lovely casual restaurant and assortment of tasty dishes for lunch.
Thank you Arda.. great tour, loved info, amazing group lunch, beautiful country!!
If you go to Ephesus you HAVE to book this tour. I don’t know all the other ones but I’m convinced that this one is the best. Our tour guide Gözde (or Gigi) was so warm, knowledgeable, and made us feel like the most distinguished guests in Turkey. She guided us through Ephesus giving us important History facts and carefully making a distinction when she would tell us a fact, a joke, or a rumor. She offered to take pictures of us at a lot of spots and then we had the most delicious fresh Turkish lunch at a beautiful outdoor place. We will never forget this tour. If you don’t book this tour with Travel Show you’ll be missing out! If you get Gigi as you tour guide, tell her we say hi!
Awesome small group tour with Arda, informative and thorough, so knowledgeable. We learned so much about the history of Turkey and Ephesus in particular. Highly recommend this tour over the large group tours. Lunch was delicious as well.
Arda was very knowledgeable and gave us a great tour. His hospitality and professionalism with us and othe business owners was great! He was an excellent friend and guide!
Our tour was fantastic! We had Gigi as our guide, she was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, considerate, and fun. She knew where to go, what to see, and how to navigate the crowds and hecklers. Our tour came with lunch at a quant village farm and the food was great, and the people were welcoming.
Wonderful experience! We were exposed to true Turkish culture! We would definitely recommend touring with this group!
