Itinerary
The city of Ephesus was one of the largest and most important cities in the ancient Mediterranean world, lying on the western coast of Asia Minor (in modern day Turkey). It was one of the oldest Greek settlements on the Aegean Sea, and later the provincial seat of Roman government in Asia.
The tomb of the Blessed Virgin is venerated in the Valley of Cedron, near Jerusalem. Modern writers hold, however, that Mary died and was buried at Ephesus. This is an optional alternative for the day entrance fees not included
Temple of Artemis, also called Artemesium, temple at Ephesus, now in western Turkey, that was one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The great temple was built by Croesus, king of Lydia, about 550 bce and was rebuilt after being burned by a madman named Herostratus in 356 bce.
Pass by a small lovely village near Ephesus
Enjoy a traditional lunch in a local restaurant where you can also see local Turkish students and women makes original handycraft products

We had an amazing family tour with Oljay! She was kind an listened to what we wanted to do and adjusted the tour to our needs. We really enjoyed this day from seeing the mother Mary home and shrine to Ephesus, and all the history and the markets and amazing lunch and Turkish rugs it was amazing. I highly recommend this tour!
Fantastic day Prompt start Heard from guide the night before Beautiful black bmw minivan The ephesus sites , the driver, the guide Olcay were some of the highlights of our 11 day trip Very highly recommend
This tour is very important for me as a Christian building up my faith, and visiting the ancient ruins of Ephesus. The guide was very knowledgeable and spoke English very well. Winter time (January) was nice to visit the site because it was not crowded at all. So we took our time.
This tour was perfect for our group of 6 people. I unfortunately made a mistake when booking and selected Kusadasi port instead of Izmir port so we started an hour later than scheduled. So please make sure you select the correct port if booking this as a cruise excursion. This was 100% my own fault but Ayhan reached out and came up with a quick solution. Due to time constraints, we ended up skipping the House of Virgin Mary and instead spent most of our time exploring the ruins of Ephesus. Olcay was our guide and she was very helpful and willing to change plans to meet the groups needs. She was very personable and knowledgeable. I learned a lot about Turkish culture and gained new historical insight. I absolutely would not hesitate to book with them again.
Amazing tour and very knowledgeable. Was met at the airport and driven in a safe and good minibus. We were always asked what we wanted to do and were always part of the plans for the day. I would recommend this tour company.
Gulsah Cosartekin? was fantastic! She answered our questions, kept us safe and coordinated well with our driver! Gulsah helped us get thru Ephesus efficiently and it was CROWDED. We took our time stopping to learn and take pictures! The driver did fantastic and knew where to drive so we avoided traffic!
We really enjoyed the private tour of Ephesus (Efes). The whole tour included a visit to the house of Mary and the tomb/church of St. John along with a stop at a rug manufacturing shop (you can ask the guide to skip this if you want). Of course, the highlight was the ruins of Ephesus and the library of Celsus which, although crowded with other tourists, was still a sight to behold. Our tour guide, Uhmet, was very knowledgeable and having a private guide allowed us to hear the details better and gave us the flexibility to stay in 1 site longer if we chose to do so. The terrace houses was worth the extra entrance fee. Avoid visiting in the hot months- more tourists and there is little cover from the heat.
the trip was amazing and well organized. speaking about ephesus would be trivial. one of its kind experience. 5/5 would recommend.
The walk through Ephesus was beautiful. Lots of ruins and history to take in. Going early made for less crowded pictures. The lunch was at a living weaving school, where I got a tour of carpet making after lunch. The food was delicious. Sirince is a charming town with lots of character. We did a walking loop around the town stopping for wine and turkish coffee along the way. He knew the townspeople, so it was nice to experience the local culture.
Booked that tour for a group of 4, we were picked up timely from airport, transportation car was comfortable, although weather was very very hot that day. Our guide was very professional and helpful and gave us many details about wonderful ancient city of Ephesus. Ephesus is a must-see place in the area of Izmir, very well preserved ruins with lot of history. This tour was excellent and professional, highly recommended.
Good experience and able to adjust tour exactly as required due to my young family, Hazal is experienced, knowledgable and was very kind to my young kids!
It was a really enjoyable trip. Transportation was very easy. I had the chance to see the old cities and places once again. Seeing them all together was a real pleasure for me, as I have a time problem. I think it's good for the price, it's much more expensive if you take a taxi anyway.
It was a fantastic trip. I’d really want to go back one day. Well organized, full of history. Great great
My girlfriend was really into history so I booked this trip. It was awesome!! The trip was well planned , we had time to interact with history on our own. Our tour guide was knowledgeable , professional and really helpfull . All was so perfect except it was a bit hot. Would recommend visiting spring , fall or early summer.
Hello, it was one of the best experiences I've had, airport pick-up, refreshments, tour guide, everything was very professional, I will come again next year.
our tour guide was awesome. He spoke English well so that was very helpful. He was instrumental in arranging a last minute paragliding for me, and also made sure we had a great experience with all the activities. the buffet lunch had lots of options and everything was delicious
We had a wonderful experience and tour with Ayhan Very easy to find our tour and driver in the port. We toured all of Ephesus, went to a leather factory, the museum, and a wonderful local lunch. It was excellent all around!
We couldn't recommend this tour highly enough, it was so nice to be transported from one sight to the next in a very comfortable air conditioned mercedes! Eda also gave great recommendations for food and shopping which we much appreciated.
