Excellent trip and guide. Driver was super safe and guide took into account my elderly mother was limited in her walking. We were able to see everything she wanted as this was my second trip to Ephesus. Viator guides are the best in the world in my opinion.
Everything about our one day trip to ancient Ephesus was extraordinary. The company communicated with us in advance to secure and coordinate details. Selen was our guide and our driver was Abdul (I think.) Perfectly on time, very safe driver. Selen was extremely knowledgeable, yet open to new conversations and viewpoints. She expended extra effort on our behalf to help my wife who has trouble walking easily, to deal with a couple long lines. She also worked to help me see a part of ancient Ephesus that was currently closed. Everything about this experience was a 10 out of 10. Maybe even an 11!

We had an incredible day visiting the ruins in Ephesus and the Virgin Mary’s house. Both sites are truly breathtaking and a treat for those who love history and landmarks of biblical significance. We also thoroughly enjoyed the context provided by our tour guide Hakan, who was highly experienced and knowledgeable and was able to communicate important facts about both sites to our family in both English and Spanish. Hakan was incredibly friendly and engaging and we highly recommend!!
We had an amazing day exploring the beautiful roman ruins of Ephesus and the house of Virgin Mary! A million thanks to our excellent tour guide Hakan, who provided commentary in both english AND spanish for our group!! Also Hakan was very comical and he was happy to answer all of our questions and teach us about Turkish culture! He picked us up right on time from the Izmir port and the car was very fancy and clean! We returned with plenty of time back to our cruise ship, after a stress-free enjoyable day! :) The ruins themselves were an impressive sight to behold! Loved every minute of this tour, so worth it if you’re in Izmir for a day!
The tour itself and the time spent with our tour guide certainly deserved five stars. We only give it three stars because of the piece of jewelry we bought outside of the Virgin Mary site. We realize now it is clearly a fake and ridiculously overpriced. It was the job of our tour guide to ensure that we were not taken advantage of. We were HIS responsibility. He guided us to the store and ensured us we were in good hands. We trusted him. The stone is known as Sultanate and is supposed to change color. It certainly changed color in the store. It has not changed color since we have left Turkey. I am heartbroken. And there is no recourse. Lesson learned.

The service was very timely. They communicate with people days in advance via WhatsApp to organize the meeting location. Furthermore, they are always very punctual. They have clear strategies so that the tour is a little more favorable in terms of lines, views, and time. In addition, the price-to-product ratio is phenomenal. A private tour is offered where a perfectly Spanish-speaking guide accompanies you with the history, and furthermore, the vehicle is solely and exclusively for those who book the tour; I really did not expect it, and I felt that what was offered was very inexpensive for what it actually delivers—that is, it was very inexpensive for everything it offers.
