Absolutely wonderful. Ephesus is awe inspiring. Our guide ( whose name I forget ) conveyed a great deal of history in an easy to follow fashion. Most importantly he was very considerate of my having to use a cane , chosing the easiest and safest paths. Lunch was excellent. The visit to the carpet workshop was quite interesting. He took the trouble to guide us back to the ship's boarding gate.

Wonderful tour. Very leisurely. Guide Gigi was amazing, personable, professional and knowledgeable. Lunch was delicious
We had a private tour with Elif. She was amazing. She was so knowledgeable about the area and was so accommodating. She made our experience in Ephesus and Sincere village a special one. I would highly recommend her to everyone. What a great day !
We did the private tour of Ephesus and the Sirince Village. We were picked up right at the ship as we got off by our guide, Tuba and our driver. It was so nice to have the personal assistance of a guide as we toured Ephesus without trying to keep up with a large crowd of people. Our lunch was included and we were served as soon as we arrived at the restaurant. The food was very good with an added bonus of watching the peacocks in the area. I also enjoyed experiencing traditional Turkish coffee in the village. A very enjoyable tour!
Cigdem was wonderful. Treated us like family. She’s da best!! 5 star and our driver Very very safe and caring and they worked really well together.
We travelled with Aylin and she was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was amazing and very pleased. We highky recommend the Travel Show and specially Aylin. Thank you, Aylin.
Arda our guide was absolutely the best! We were traveling with my elderly father, so he customize the trip to more driving to decrease the amount of walking he had to do. He took us to all the best spots, and we met the heart of the people on this tour. I think with a generic Tour, this would not have been possible.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Our guide Gigi (Gozde) was extremely knowledgeable and had a great personality. We not only learned a lot, but had a lot of fun on this tour. The driver was very professional and the van was clean and very comfortable. There was a planned itinerary but we were told we could change any part we wanted to. We chose to stay with the planned itinerary and were very pleased with what was included.
A well organised private shore excursion, where the history and culture of Turkey was brought to life through visits to Ephesus and the village of Sirince by our wonderful, friendly tour guide Elif and driven in comfort by our patient and polite driver Mesut . Elif was warm , personable and courteous , sharing her excellent knowledge and expertise with enthusiasm and passion , making our visit to Ephesus this time , fascinating , memorable and enjoyable . We used previously purchased tickets through the tour company which meant entrance was seamless , no waiting and paid for these at the end . The 3D cinema experience on site was awe inspiring too, definitely recommended and was something we hadn't experienced on our last visit . After Ephesus we moved onto the serene village of Sirince ( think we got a quiet time. ) There we had an atmospheric tour and a coffee/tea stop with a chance to relax , chat for a while before a wander to buy a couple of souvenir gifts . Next we moved onto a Turkish weaving cooperative where we enjoyed a peaceful , tasty lunch and an optional silk weaving demonstration which was very interesting . Encouragement to look but no real pressure to buy in the end ! At the end of the tour we were dropped off in Kusadasi , said our goodbyes and where we then spent time before returning to our ship . This tour delivered excellently and was also excellent value for money . Elif our attentive guide cared that we made the very most of our day - a big thank you from us both - Delia & Ian We have lovely photo memories to treasure too .
Great trip, vehicle/driver, and our guide Arda excellent , professional and knowledgeable. Do not hesitate to book with this company or Arda ( he is local Ephesus, which helped)
Aydin was fantastic. A true historian with obvious love for his country. He is patient, kind, fun, and knowledgeable. Best tour we’ve ever had in Turkey.
Loved the tour, learned about the history, how silk is made from cocoon to ladies weaving, and ended with a Turkish lunch.
We have been on lots of cruise tour but this one was so much better than all the rest. Gigi our guide was so good and was so knowledgeable about everything on the tour, All the stops along the tour were ALL amazing! It was a great day for our family!!
Gigi was our guide and did an amazing job! Very knowledgeable! Would highly recommend!
A fantastic tour with a knowledgeable and great guide - Arda. Stress free and enjoyable from pick up to drop off. Thanks also our driver - Mehmet. Highly recommended.
Elif was a fantastic tour guide! It was such an interesting tour and the Turkish lunch was really delicious. She was well versed on her facts and easy to speak with. I highly recommend this tour!
Arda was a great guide. He was flexible, i.e. changing our itinerary at the last minute at our request to go to Virgin Mary's house since that was important to several individuals in our group. Ephesus was wonderful and Arda shared a great deal of information. That stop was impressive to everyone in our group. The only reason I gave this four stars is because the company seems to have a different mission. I agreed to miss Sirince for the group to see Mary's house but I specifically asked if we would be going to a rug factory. I've been before and didn't want this experience again. Several others in our group had already experienced this too. Apparently that is where our group of six would be served the included lunch and then required to listen to a rug spiel. I would have preferred to visit Sirince in that 1.5 wasted hours which would have been possible in my calculations (that I did after the tour). The distance from Ephesus to Sirince was similar to the distance between Ephesus and the rug weaving factory. We would have been okay skipping the included lunch but that option was not presented. The rugs are beautiful and I understand why TravelShow wants to show this Turkey custom off to visitors but I think that info should be included in the description and be graciously accepted if the guests decline if/when they don't want to be held captive for a lengthy period of time. (Reminded me of a timeshare sale.) And although we were told there would be no pressure, several in our group felt pressured. Arda really is a superstar but I felt our time could be better spent seeing Sirince--a hill village in Turkey than at a carpet weaving factory. If that would've happened my rating would be 5 stars. I wish that Sirince had been offered over rug-making demonstration. We picked Sirince for a reason. We did not pick a carpet factory for part of our itinerary, so beware of this.
Amazing tour, definitely recommend. Our tour guide Gigi was amazing and so knowledgeable about the history of Kusadasi. Amazing food and sights with equally amazing company. We toured through the ruins of Ephesus, St John’s burial site and Sirince village. We were able to view authentic pottery and try making a pot ourselves. We were also able to watch how silk is made and used to weave Turkish rugs
Knowledgeable friendly informative and adapts to interests of user. Loved the stop for Turkish coffee and chocolate pancakes in the village. I would have traded some extra time in village shops for the Rug sales pitch at the restaurant but that had nothing to do with the guide. Very roomy car for 2 people with guide sitting in back facing us
We had a fantastic day visiting a local ceramics shop (that had stunning handmade pieces) and then Ephesus. Our guide was so friendly and stayed with us during this private tour. Ephesus is spectacular! Them on to Sirince, a beautiful village in the mountains of Turkey. A perfect shore excursion.
Tuna was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. Great personality and English. Pick up was easy in very roomy car. Able to adjust on the run to user preferences. Definitely would use against
Nazim was fantastic. He adjusted the tour based upon our needs. Loved Sirince with nice shopping. Enjoyed a Turkish coffee and wine tasting. Just a delightful day with Nazim talking about history with knowledge.
Wonderful experience! Nazim was a wonderful guide. He shared lots of information and was lovely. We went to a beautiful tile place and met part of the family. We went to the Sirence village and had local coffee and wine. It was followed by a delicious lunch. We skipped Ephesus as we had been before. I highly recommend this tour. Maybe you will be lucky to get Nazim as your guide!
Fantastic tour exceptional lunch, with Sinem. Sinem is extremely knowledgeable and very engaging. It was great having a private guide. The value is amazing. I highly recommend this tour. This is one of the best tours I have done
Very relaxed and informative tour. We learned so much about Ephesus. Lunch was delicious. Our guide Sinem was delightful.
We had a wonderful day with Cigdem Vidinel!! We especially enjoyed Sirince! It was so quiet and beautiful early in the morning. After that tour we went Ephesus, which is truly fascinating. Even though we battled a rainy day our guide took great care of us. After a visit to see how rugs are made we had a delicious lunch with meatballs, rice, chicken and mezes delicious!!
We booked a private tour on our port day in Kusadasi. Our guide, Tolga was proactive in contacting us before our tour and making sure we had tickets to all attractions. The tour itself covered a lot of ground but never felt rushed, and we experienced the ancient city of Ephesus, local food and wine all in a day. Tolga is clearly passionate about his country and is super knowledgeable and friendly to boot. Would highly recommend this tour.
We had an amazing time our tour guide Emel was knowledgeable about everything she went above and beyond.. I would love to have her again. She speak over 4 language. She's very sweet. We were lucky to have her. If I could give her 10 stars I would have.
Everything was amazing Arda was very knowledgeable about the artifacts and history behind it. My wife and I had a good time drinking Turkish coffee looking over the mountains. Would use Viator again and again.
Our time exploring Ephesus was great! The city was amazing and the visual museum was such a treat! Lunch was a perfect way to end the trip with a chance to look at some beautiful carpets that took our breath away
It was exactly what my wife and I wanted; a little history and a little culture with authentic cuisine. Arda was an amazing guide!
Arda was an amazing and exceptional tour guide. He made sure the tour went exactly how we wanted it to go.
This was an awesome way to spend the day a great way to see emphasis on your own or with a small group tour of your family or friends as well as get to walk around sincere village at your own pace. Try the Wine stop for a coffee. I highly recommend this store for a wonderful day in emphasis..
Our trip with Gigi was amazing. Our pickup was around 1p and we weren’t hungry for lunch straight away, so we went to Sirince first and walked through this laid back village. Tons of shops and locals, hardly any tourists. We enjoyed coffee and chatting with Gigi to learn a bit about her and the country she is very proud of. We then headed to Ephesus and we were blown away. The trip there without her insights and knowledge would not have been the same. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there learning about the ancient times. Our lunch turned into dinner and the food was fantastic. Highly recommend this tour and you will be blessed if Gigi is your guide.
Arda was our guide. We had an amazing time he was right at port ready to pickup and very knowledgeable made sure he answered all our questions when asked. Checked in on us throughout the day making sure we had everything we needed.
This was a great trip, the restrooms were nice as well.
The tour was very informational And. Customizable We got to do the things we wanted and see the items we were interested in
We were picked up promptly in an air conditioned , very comfortable van. Taken to all the sites mentioned in tour and the time was tailored to our liking. Tubga was knowledgeable and professional. The driver made us feel safe and comfortable. It was truly a great experience.
Private tours with Gigi are the way to go. She is highly knowledgeable and friendly. She knows all the local hotspots and isn’t pushy.
Tolga gave us a wonderful experience on our first visit to Turkey! We visited the Virgin Mary’s house, the Ephesus ruins and a rug making shop. Such a fantastic time! Highly recommend!
Our tour guide Adar was amazing, he was so incredibly knowledgeable and we learnt so much at Ephesus. It was a really good tour that many of our group felt was the best we did over our week long cruise. Tasting the fruit wines was really fun, very tasting and great variety. We were a bit worried about the rug making element of the tour, but it was surprisingly interesting and we all ended up enjoying it. Even if we didn't, the food was amazing and would have also made it worth it.
Gigi was phenomenal. This was our first visit to Turkey and because of GIgi we now want to come back and see more. We had numerous Turkish dishes for lunch and they were delicious. Something for everyone. Gigi explained so much about her countries history. You can tell she takes great pride in being from Turkey. I definitely recommend this tour.
Our guide was great he was very informative.
The tour was amazing and the tour guide (tolga) did such an amazing job!!! I totally recommend this tour! Visiting Ephesus without the tour would not have been the same without
Had to book something for our port visit at Ephesus before I started the cruise. Been to Ephesus before so wanted something different. Never did a 3rd party tour before but figured this tour would end well before 8 hours and they guaranteed to bring us back. Booking was easy and got the confirmation email immediately & we chat msg 1 day before meeting. I found my tour person easily once we arrived at the port. Was introduced to Arna our guide. Even though I signed up for private tour I didn't think it was a private tour for 3 people at $110 total. But it was! That was a nice surprise. Mini van was clean with working AC and the driver was great. We drove to the ancient city and got a great tour by Arda. He probably could of talked our ear off but it was too hot to focus and I had a 6 year old completely bored and tired. He's good at focusing on what your want to talk about. We saw a movie about the goddess Artemis that was a bit overdramatic but had a point. Air conditioned and comfy (Entrance fee to Ephesus and this short movie was $48 pp that you pay later to the agency). Afterwards we went to a govt owned rug factory where we saw the evolution of silkworms to rugs and how other fabrics like wools were dyed. There was no pressure to buy but my sis got a $820 hallway/runner rug. It was unplanned (of course!) but if you are remotely interested in purchasing handmade durable art you should think about the room and dimensions you want this memorabilia in. And bargain starting at 50% which my sis did not do since she is terrible in this art of negotiating lol. We had a simple local lunch there and then drove to Sirince to check out a hilltop village for wine tasting and souvenir shopping. Got some goat milk and olive oil soap. Fruit wine was quite amazing on the sweeter end which was fine with me since I'm a light weight. I couldn't but any bottles since I bought economy tix with ITL and didn't want to pay $150 check in fee. All in all a cool tour on a hot day. Arna use to work for the UN handling the military's traveling needs for all of Turkey so he's experienced! He's an avid angler so fly fishers talk up your state to him he's all ears.
Ozlem gave a great tour! Highly recommend! 👍👍
Was a very organised tour , getting to see if everything we wanted while our tour guide Nazim timed it well to avoid the crowds . Ahmet our driver was a great safe driver with a clean van Would highly recommended
Nazim was our guide for the day. He was very knowledgeable and friendly and made our whole experience very enjoyable. Our driver, Ahmet, was also great. The van was very clean and Ahmet was a very safe driver. I highly recommend this company.
