Gorkem was a wonderful guide. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Ephesus was amazing. It’s a must see site. Not stopping at a store or restaurant was worth the higher price.

This experience far exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide Ozlem Arkun Erdogan was exceptional in every way. She was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. The small group experience was the way to go. Ozlem went at our pace, always checking with the group to ask if we did or did not want to stop some place or spend extra time looking at something. After the tour, she gave us advice on shopping and eating near the port before we returned to our cruise ship. I would not hesitate to book another tour with Viator in the future and would specifically request Ozlem if I were to return to this part of Turkey.

Great tour with Füsun! She was there to directly meet us at the port and drove us straight to Ephesus. She gave helpful information about Turkey on the way, and guided us through the site. Definitely get the Terrace House ticket, well worth the add on. There is the option to see artisans but you can decline and go straight back to the port (which is what we did). Overall, very happy we booked a guide as the site can be very busy with other tourists. Füsun was great at guiding us but allowing time to self explore.

Wonderful tour and experience. Our guide Ozge was amazing offering a lot of knowledge and interesting facts. I highly recommend this tour. It was a good pace and decent amount of time with some good breaks. Ephesus is beautiful and so historical, I think all should visit if they can.

We had the most amazing tour with Tes our tour guide. Our pickup was one of the easiest we have ever had on a cruise. Our guide was extremely informative and was very considerate and wanted us to have the best day possible . We added on the terrace houses which was definitely worth it - one of the most interesting parts of Ephesus. We stopped for an amazing Turkish lunch and carpet weaving demonstration. The food was amazing and the carpets were beautiful. We had a fantastic day and strongly recommend this tour!

This was our first time in Türkiye and thanks to our guide Yavuz, it definitely will not be our last! His passion for the beauty of his home is evident in his knowledge and discussions on anything and everything from agriculture to mythology to history to culture and everything in between. Along with the main sites, we were able to customize our tour with places that spoke to us more than others like jewelry wholesale for zoltonite and a lovely ceramic workshop that has been owned by the same family for over 500 years. It’s honestly a lot cooler and more beautiful than just clay pots. Lunch was super plentiful and really delicious. The transportation was great and on time. We had an absolutely wonderful tour with our guide Yavuz — highly professional from start to finish. He explained everything in a way that was clear, engaging and genuinely interesting, and he never rushed us. We travelled as a family with a small daughter, and his patience with her was outstanding; he adapted the pace to us without us ever having to ask. A lovely surprise: he also speaks excellent Spanish, which made a real difference for us. The driver and the car deserve a mention too — very comfortable, spotless, and he was always waiting for us right on time. No waiting around in the heat, which with a small child matters a lot. 100% recommended. If you’re looking for a guide in Kuşadası or Ephesus, ask for Yavuz.

Oct. 2025 From start to finish, Ephesus Shuttle provided us with a very pleasant tour experience. We connected easily with our guide Ekim at the disembarkation port of our cruise, and enjoyed our road tour of Kusadasi in a comfortable, air-conditioned mini-van on the way to the ancient city of Ephesus which offers a rich and incredible view and experience of history . Ekim was very knowledegeable, and his enthusiasm and energy kept our small group of senior travellers positively-engaged and entertained. Highly recommended.

During our recent cruise from Athens to various ports in Greece and Turkey, we booked a mini group shuttle with Ephesus Shuttle to the historic Ephesus ruins. Our tour guide Simon was waiting for us just outside the cruise terminal with a sign with our name on it. We toured with another couple. The driver of the very nice van drove us to Ephesus in around 30 minutes. Simon personally escorted our small group providing in depth commentary at each significant station around the site. We also saw a very well done video presentation included in our admission. After our tour of Ephesus we also visited a very interesting family run ceramic shop and a couple of other historical sites. We were dropped off near the ship at the conclusion of the tour. The fee that we paid included entrance to Ephesus, the video presentation, the tour narration and of course, the transportation. This tour was one of the highlights of our entire cruise. I highly recommend Ephesus Shuttle for anyone that wants a first class tour of the amazing Ephesus ruins for not much more than the admission to the site.

What a WONDERFUL day! We toured historic Ephesus on a beautiful day with our FABULOUS tour guide, Pinar. She made sure we were able to see all the things we wanted to see, and allowed us to avoid the things we didn't. She was so knowledgeable and kind. We had a lovely day walking along and learning SO MUCH about Turkey's history. I'm sure we asked a million questions, but we received a million very patient and knowledgeable answers. We even loved the 15 minute reimagination show which allowed us to visualize and "experience" what Ephesus was like. Every aspect of our day was well thought out and curated by Pinar. We were so grateful! Pinar made our day extra special. A private tour is the way to go if you want to avoid waiting for 30 other people in your group to take the same old selfies. Ephesus Shuttle offers great tours at great prices. I would definitely book them again on any return trips to Turkey!

Excellent tour guide! Also lunch was great! We didn’t like going to see how the rugs were made and then sales people trying to pressure us to purchase a rug! We were on a private tour. Guide was very attentive to what are needs were!

We had a fantastic tour with Nejdet - he was so friendly and knowledgable and definately made our tour. He was very accommodating with all our requests and we would highly recommend him and Ephesus Shuttle they all really went above and beyond.

We had a good experience, for the most part, on this tour. Gonca was a delightful tour guide. Her English was excellent, and she tailored her comments to the wide range of ages and interests. We were a party/family of six, with ages ranging from 25-59. Gonca met us right at the appointed place off the cruise ship, and led us to the private van and driver. After a quick ride to Ephesus, she advised us about the heat, sunshine and need to stay hydrated. After a guided walk through the ruins, we went to the Temple of Artemis, which isn't much to see. We had some time to kill before lunch, so even though I had put in the tour order that I didn't want any "factory tours", we ended up at a "school" that makes rugs. After a very interesting presentation, we ended up in a display room. Under the guise of "Turkish hospitality", we were offered a beverage and while drinking the coffee, etc...the hard sell of buying on of their rugs was rolled out (pun intended.) The carpet experience was the one negative of this tour. The young adults felt that we were being held captive and forced into buying a rug that we didn't want...I was more alert to this game, and knew what we were in for...didn't like it, but at least I knew how this was going to play out. After a lot of give and take, we actually bought a small carpet that we liked, but this experience was something we talked about (not in a good way) the rest of the trip. I don't blame Gonca, though no doubt there was a kick-back to the tour company for bringing people in, maybe even a commission. I don't hold it against Gonca or Ephesus Shuttle, it's basic business, I just wish the carpet sales people were a little easier to deal with, and wish my family didn't feel captive. We ended at lunch at a local place, which was delightful and delicious. I would use Ephesus Shuttle again, and would request Gonca, but I would be clear not to take us to the rug factory or the pottery studio...just the historical sites.

The guide and driver are both very good & professional. The Ephesus are a must to see when you are in Kusadasi. I will highly recommend this tour.

Our shore excursion with Selda was amazing. We were able to arrive at Ephesus early so there were no crowds. We spent a good amount of time at Ephesus, and after we went to the rug weaving co-op where we had tour with demonstrations and an excellent lunch. The rug sales people were not pushy, which I appreciated. Two in our group did buy rugs and they are very happy with them. It was the best shore excursion we had on our cruise.

Fusun is a professional and knowledgeable guide who ensured a seamless tour, supported by our driver. We packed a lot in but didn’t feel rushed. The sights are incredible but we also enjoyed a delicious lunch, a carpet weaving demonstration and the 3d experience at Ephesus. This tour is not to be missed, designed to suit cruise passengers. As Fasun is a local, we also learned about contemporary Turkish culture.

Ancient Ephesus and Artemis Temple all inclusive guided tour I booked for my family of eight an all inclusive guided tour with Ephesus Shuttle for ancient Ephesus and Artemis Temple. Our tour guide Ozge Caliskan “Emma” was very knowledgeable interesting friendly flexible and accommodating. She was not only very familiar with the culture, the history and archeological details of the places but also very knowledgeable about the apostle Paul, Timothy, John, Mary, Aquila and Priscilla. She speaks perfect English and surprisingly also fluent Mandarin. Everything is very well planned and time efficient. She is patient to answer our questions and takes the time to take photographs for us. Unlike the cruise ship shore excursions which include carpet weaving demonstrations, she gives us the choice whether to go or not. The van is air conditioned and comfortable. The driver is safe and professional. I highly recommend this tour, our tour guide and this tour company.

Great tour, our tour guide Zey was amazing and very thorough. She provided detailed history on all of the sites we saw and the surrounding area. She was very nice and knowledgeable and I recommend her as a guide. We were picked up at the kusadasi port in a nice air conditioned van and taken to Mary’s house before any of the crowds got there (8 am tour), we were then taken to the ancient city of Ephesus and all along the way learned the history about the place, the experience was great and my family and I learned a lot. We then ended the tour by going to see the tomb of St. John and learned about the history and traditions of the site before being taken back to the port and given food and shopping recommendations as well as advice for the rest of our trip in Turkey. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone, our tour guide was very well educated on everything and answered every question we had. Anyone who loves to learn about ancient history will love this tour.
