Had an amazing day touring around Kusadasi with out wonderful tour guide Tansu, and our driver. We visited all the places we wanted, especially the terraced houses at Ephesus. Tansu was very informative and we learned a lot! We were able to go at our own pace, and tailor the day to our preferences. Tansu was very friendly, and we enjoyed her company while visiting different places. I would highly recommend doing a private tour with this company if you are visiting Kusadasi. Thank you for a memorable and brilliant trip!

10 min Drive to Ephesus We will start visiting one of the main highlights in Turkey, Ephesus, one of the 12 cities of Ionian League (an ancient Greek district on the western coast of Asia Minor) is located near Izmir. As a port city it was a major departure point for trade routes into Asia Minor. Walk through history along marble streets lined with wonderful public buildings, among them the Baths of Scholastica, the Library of Celsus; it was built in the beginning of the 2nd century A.D. by Gaius Julius Aquila to be a memorial to his father Gaius Julius Celsus Polemanus, the proconsul of Province of Asia. , the Temple of Hadrian and The Grand Theater are two of the most impressive buildings in Ephesus. Grand theatre was built in 3rd century B.C and it was later expanded to 24.000 spectators by the Romans in the 1st century A.D.
After Lunch break, drive up to the pretty old Turkish-Orthodox village Sirince, located on the top of a mountain, where anyone will enjoy the impressive wine yards’ and peach trees’. The village has synthesis of Turk-Greek culture, where we visit mosque and Orthodox church. All the narrow streets of the village belong to the women, selling handcrafts of all kinds, olive oil. Another attraction of Sirince is its wine: try its taste in small cafés.
Our last stop is Artemis Temple where used to be one on the seven wonders of the ancient world. After Artemis Temple, Drive to Kusadasi ctown center and to the port
Arrival to Kusadasi City Center. Drop off to Port of Kusadasi or to city center or to your hotel. The end of our services

We arrived by Cruise ship and our driver was waiting right outside the ships ramp. His english was very good and we loved that he was local and showed us the sites and viewpoints and also some local info about the people that live here. This company takes care of timing to make sure you are back on time - and we were.
Out of all the islands we visited, this was one of the best stops and tours! Our tour guide Sinan was friendly, thorough, accommodating, extremely engaged, and fun! I highly recommend this tour!
Absolutely great customer service from Fevzi at Ephesus Shuttle Tours. He responded to our emails promptly regarding Tours we were interested in Ephesus Turkey. We all had an absolutely fantastic experience in Ephesus with our Tour guide Olgie..I hope I have spelt your name correctly. The team were professional and efficient. Five star all the way. Our tour guide Olgie truly went above and beyond . She was very knowledgeable and informative during our Tour in Ephesus and Sirince Village. She even managed to take us to other sites in Ephesus. Her commitment to customers service is unmatched. We thank you for your great service during our Tour in Ephesus and Sirince Village. It truly was an Unforgettable experience!!! We all highly recommend Ephesus Shuttle Tours and their team.
If you are considering a trip to Ephesus, do yourself a huge favor and book this private tour. From start to finish, the entire experience was absolutely flawless. The logistics were perfect—transportation was comfortable and pristine, and our driver, was professional and smooth, making the travel time fly by. But the real highlight was our guide, the amazing Dahan! To say he was "out of this world" is an understatement! His knowledge of the history brought the ancient city to life in a way I never expected. He knew exactly how to navigate the crowds, the best spots for photos, and the fascinating hidden details you’d miss on a big group tour. We cannot recommend this enough. It was worth every penny for the memories we made. Don’t hesitate—just book it!
We did the Private Tour 8 - Ephesus - Artemis Temple - Sirince Village with Ephesus Shuttle. The booking was easy and Fevzi was really prompt with responses and answers to our questions. Out tour guide Taz was great! He was very knowledgeable about the history of Kusadasi and Ephesus. We were able to spend as much time as we wanted at each of the stops. He took us to a great place for lunch that included authentic Turkish food. The only downside is we ended up getting roped into a rug factory. That wasn't supposed to be on the itinerary of the tour. Not sure if it was just mixed up communication between us and the tour guide, but we ended up spending about 45 minutes to an hour being pressured to purchase a rug. I'm sure they have relationships with these rug companies to bring tourists in. Wished that didn't happen. The rugs were gorgeous but no way we're spending $6,000 on a rug on a whim! I suggest just be firm with your tour guide that you have no interest in seeig the rugs being made or visiting the store. Other than that, the tour was great.
This excursion was awesome. There were just 4 of us in a vehicle with our guide ( Ms.Pinar) and the driver and it was less expensive and so much more personal than if we took the group excursion offered by the cruise ship. We got individual attention at Ephesus to see everything and to ask questions. Meeting our guide at the cruise terminal went easily and both she and the driver were great.
Meeting with our tour guide at the port in Kusadasi went very smoothly. Her name was Pinar and she led us to where we met our driver who was also excellent. We traveled to Ephesus in a comfortable vehicle with AC and Pinar gave us information about what we were seeing all the way. Her knowledge of the historic site at Ephesus was very detailed and so interesting. She then took us to a local carpet place for a great Turkish lunch and a short demonstration of women making the carpets. We were also shown many carpets but with no pressure to buy. We requested that we stop there for a short time and it was very enjoyable. We then went to Sirince and the Artemis Temple, all with Pinar's help and commentary. She never left us which made us feel so safe. She got us back to the port in time with no problem. I would recommend Ephesus Shuttle tours to others. It was perfect!
We chose Ephesus Shuttle for our shore excursion during our cruise stop in Kusadasi, and we’re so glad we did! Not only did it save us money compared to the ship’s excursions, but the quality of the guide and tour was outstanding. Our guide, Selenay, was excellent—her English was very good, and she had extensive knowledge about the area. We also visited the charming village of Sirince, which we thoroughly enjoyed, and concluded with a stop at the Basilica of St. John. Selenay was flexible with our itinerary, allowing us to visit places we wanted and even extending the tour beyond the planned time. We highly recommend this tour to all cruise visitors!
The tour was perfect! Comfortable car, knowledgeable tour guide who speaks fluent english. She was very informative and provided great cultural back ground. Will definitely recommend.
Slelenay was great! She was thorough, kind and considerate. She was fluent in English which was an absolute plus. We enjoyed our time in Ephesus and hope to be back soon!
This tour was exceptional from start to finish. I commented several times that I felt like a movie star. We got star treatment. Each unique place we visited was extremely special. Our guide was so knowledgeable and knew exactly what would make us happy.
We had an incredible day in Ephesus and area with Tunç as our guide! He was very knowledgeable, funny, and accommodating. Tunç's insights enriched our experience of the ruins and we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at a local family restaurant, as well as a visit to the town of Sirince. We loved getting a taste of Turkey and highly recommend Tunç as a guide. We can't wait to return and explore more!
We had so much fun and it was educational as well. Our tour guide was laid back and even bought us all peaches! She explained things in interesting details
Cannot recommend this tour enough, what an exceptional introduction to Ephesus! We were met on time, transportation was clean and effective and safely driven. Our guide was easily understood and impressive with his knowledge and love of his job. Great tour, great guide, highly recommend!
We had a great tour of Ephesus. Our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend this company.
We had an excellent driver and tour guide. We would not have seen as much or fully appreciated the experience without our very knowledgeable guide.
It was a very informative trip that was designed to accommodate my mobility issues. Our guide was first rate and very personable.
We had a lovely tour to Sirince. Our guide, Mrs. Selda, met us with a sign and led us to a clean minivan with a friendly driver. She gave a lot of background of the area during the drive to Sirince and gave a nice overview of the town. We had time to wander the small streets and enjoyed wine tasting and some local bites. We were on back to back cruises, and stopped the next week, and booked a tour to Ephesus with the same company. Mrs Selda was our guide on the Ephesus tour, and I cannot imagine a better guide. She again met us with a sign, and had the same friendly driver and clean van. Ephesus is not to be missed, and including the Terrace Houses is a must. Having an expert guide really enhanced the experience. We have views a number of ruins, but Ephesus is the crown jewel. It is absolutely beautiful and Mrs Selda gave us a lot of background information. We would have missed so much just walking on our own. We would not hesitate to book with this company again.
I used Ephesus Shuttle in 2016 and again this September. Our guide was Emre both times and he is fantastic! Everyone in our group commented on was an excellent guide Emre is. Ephesus is spectacular and the views in the Sirince Village were breathtaking. One of the best experiences we had.
We stopped in Kusadasi on our Mediterranean cruise and to be honest I had low expectations but we had a great time with Selda on our tour. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and funny which made learning the history more enjoyable. My 19 Year old son who is very hard to impress said this was his favorite stop. Ephesus was intense but was interesting to see. We got to see demonstration of how they make chini pottery and hand woven Turkish rugs which was so cool.. be prepared for sales pitch but if you can afford it.. what better souvenir to take from Turkey than something handmade and not made in China. The village we visited was my favorite .. wine tasting and a walk through the shops.. what a great intro to Turkey! Thanks, Selda for sharing your culture with us. Also, there was a separate driver who was fantastic.. always there with the van when we were ready!
This tour of Ephesus with Emre was one of our favorite tours ever! He is informed, interesting, pleasant and takes the best pictures of you ever!!!! We highly recommend! And he took us to a fabulous buffet place for lunch!
