Our guide, Ayvi, was the best! She was very fun, personable, and extremely knowledgeable not just about the amazing Turkish food, but also about Kusadasi and Turkey in general. She gave us an amazing tour of local delicacies and places we never would have found on our own. Don’t delay, book your tour with Ayvi today!
We had such a great time on this tour! We got to try several really delicious local dishes while also learning a lot about the history and everyday life in Kuşadası. Our guide, Ayvi was so friendly and fun to spend time with. She never made us feel rushed, happily answered all of our questions, and even gave us some great tips for shopping and buying local items. It really felt like we were getting a taste of Kuşadası from someone who knows and loves the area. Great food, great conversation, and a really fun experience. We would definitely recommend this tour!
This tour was one of the highlights of our trip! We had an amazing time experiencing the local food, learning about the history and culture, and exploring the beautiful area on foot. The food was delicious, and it was so special to experience authentic Turkish flavors while learning more about the country and its traditions. Our guide made the experience even more memorable with their knowledge, enthusiasm, and passion for sharing the local culture. We loved the combination of history, walking, and food tasting. It was the perfect way to experience Kusadasi beyond the typical tourist attractions. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kusadasi. It was informative, delicious, fun, and an experience we will always remember. A must-do if you’re visiting Turkey!
A fabulous tour with so many delicious foods to try, but also a good mix of local landmarks, culture and interesting facts. A great way to learn about Turkey at your own pace.
This was a really enjoyable way to see a different side of Kuşadası and explore parts of the town that you might easily miss if you were just wandering around on your own. Going on foot gives you a much better feel for the place, and we enjoyed seeing some of the less obvious spots along the way. The hosts were excellent - friendly, welcoming and clearly working hard to make sure everyone had a good experience. A pleasant and interesting way to spend a few hours and see more than you otherwise might.
Great foodie experience despite the grim rainy weather … great guides very enjoyable foods Met really nice people …. highly recommend
It was an amazing tour! Super friendly hosts, great food, and a great experience! Highly recommend !
Absolutely the best Food Tours we’ve ever been out. Our guide was so friendly and informative, we learned so much about Turkish traditions and food. She took us to many different places and we experienced Turkish tea, Turkish coffee just a great medley of delicious food. We tried dumplings, olives, cheese, meat dishes and fish, a great mixture of taste. Will definitely try this to again and recommended.
Our guide, Ibk, was amazing! She was very informative and patient. She took us to a lot of local spots we wouldn’t have found otherwise. Great variety of food, and she was especially cognizant of our food allergies. We loved it so much we are going on the same tour next week!
What an incredible experience! We met our guide, Aybike, shortly after our cruise ship arrived in port, and from the very beginning, everything was seamless. The meeting spot was easy to find, and the red umbrella made it simple to locate our group. We’ve done quite a few food tours in different countries, and this one was by far our favorite! Aybike was wonderful and incredibly knowledgeable. She also had an assistant who would take our orders ahead of time at each location and make sure our table and seating were ready for us when we arrived. This made the entire experience feel effortless and stress-free, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy ourselves. Along the way, Aybike shared so much interesting information about the area, and we even had the opportunity to tour a nearby ceramic shop, mosque and bathhouse, which added a wonderful cultural element to the experience. And the food… it just kept coming and coming! Everything was absolutely delicious, and the variety was perfect. We were able to try so many different Turkish dishes, and every stop was better than the last. We can’t recommend this tour enough! If you’re visiting Turkey and love food, culture, and a fun, well-organized experience, definitely book this tour. And if you’re lucky enough to have Aybike as your guide, you’re in for an amazing day!
Great experience 10/10 our guide ABK was so great and we were able to sit in restaurants and enjoy the experience. The food was wonderful! we stopped in local stores and the guide helped us order and buy local products!
Aybi was a wonderful tour guide. We had a wonderful walk around the area with lots of food stops and history. Could not have had a better time. Would definitely recommend!
A delicious way to experience Kuşadası! The food was incredible, authentic and full of flavour. We discovered local dishes we would never have found ourselves and enjoyed every stop. Definitely arrive hungry!
We had a great experience on the walking tour. Its a wonderfull alternative to learning about Turkey and its culture if you only have one day. Great food.
Had a great time with Paul and Gokman - apologies for the spelling! Thank you both for a wonderful day filled with great food and core memories for our family!
Polat and his companion were amazing hosts! Around a 4 hour tour that covered many drinks, meals, snacks, and desserts (without giving anything away). Highly recommend if you want something different from the standard cruise excursion!
A wonderful experience. SO glad I did this. Our guide was so helpful and was a great pleasure to spend time with. She taught and showed us so much about the local culture.
Liza was phenomenal! So much history and soooooo much food!!! Our best food tour of the trip!
The tour lasted about 4 hours, all great local establishments with great food. In all honesty, it was tough to get through the whole tour in terms of having enough stomach room to eat it all. Had to leave some leftovers in order to save room for the rest of the stops. Overall amazing tour.
So much amazing food! The history lessons added with great food was an amazing experience. Our tour guide Liza was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Liza was fantastic!!! Learned so much and ate so much, definitely come on an empty stomach. She is a great guide and answers every question you may have. 10/10 recommend.
We had an enjoyable day learning the history and tasting local foods. Started the morning with traditional breakfast, had a Turkish coffee and tea, Doner and wonderful seaside mezzas. The sweets were fabulous too. Friendly people and great guides. Highly recommend!
Great day with tarkan! Loved all the stops we made.
This was a fantastic experience with so many samples and stops that were delicious. It was super fun and the tour guides were knowledgeable and very accommodating. I highly recommend!!
A fantastic walking and food tour with Polet in Kusadasi. We visited a number of local sights including a local Mosque, a 600 year old bath house and of course numerous food places. After an amazing breakfast he took us away from the main tourist area to the local areas where we visited bakeries, small cafes and a variety of restaurants. The food was amazing and Polet was a friendly informative host who clearly enjoyed showing off his homeland to visitors. So much food and a lot of it was things we had never heard of before. Highly recommended to use these guys.
This is an amazing Turkish food experience with a born and raised guide. Aybike was the best host to her hometown
If you want to experience local Turkish food with an excellent local guide this is it. Aybike, our lovely guide was amazing and so helpful. Ask for her. The food experience was excellent.
Aybike was our guide for our food tour in kusadasi. She was wonderful. She’s local and took us to some great places. The food, company, and relaxed vibe were perfect. Highly recommend
Ayeike was fantastic!! She is super knowledgeable and patient.. the places she took is were so local and delicious and she had stories and reviews of all the places.. you should ask for Ayeike if you want the BEST tour and a wonderful day!! Thank you!! ❤️❤️
Polat Korkmaz was fantastic. Great tour. Highly recommend!
I don't think we could have asked for a better trip. We did not know what to expect coming to Kusadasi and decided to go with the walking food tour organized by Gokmen and our tour guide was Polat. Oh my goodness we saw so many places that we would not have seen and visited ourself. Polat has a great sense of humor, he is knowledgeable and took us to very cool and local places. It was hassle free, we had good conversations and ate so much food. This was the best trip we have been on in a long time. Thank you so very much for making this the most memorable day we have had on our trip.... We will come back and book another excursion with you guys and hopefully have Polat as our guide again.
Excellent food and experience, Polat was very knowledgeable and enjoys company So many different restaurants and new tastes for us
We have been doing food walks across Europe over the last few years. They are a great way for foodies to soak up food (of course) but also a little local history and culture. This was one of the best. We don’t usually post pictures, but do see those appended here. The tour guide who asked to be called “Leesa,” was a licensed tour guide who studied tourism at the local university. While many food tours prominently feature the term “food,” this one was truly food forward. We were very grateful to have walking breaks from eating as the day went on. We started with Turkish bagels and cheeses. After some walking in the old city, we had Turkish coffee. Next was a visit to an ancient mosque. Next we tried a local delicacy often made with meat, but this time with wheat mixed with spices and olive oil. The vegetarian dish, served in lettuce leaves and drizzled with pomegranate syrup, is called çağ köfte. It was quite spicy, but fun to try something completely new to us. Somewhere along the way, we acquired some small local pastry treats (baklava of course) for a dessert to be had later. After more needed walking, we went to a dumpling shop where we watched the proprietor make tiny pork dumplings by hand. These were quickly boiled and topped with a tasty yogurt and sumac sauce. Looking back, this amazingly fresh dish might have been the best of the walk. Afterwards, we walked along the waterfront and then to a historicTurkish bath house. The inner rooms might possibly be the hottest places we have ever entered. Nearby was a huge Turkish china store with an artisan painting away. Beautiful inventory with many stories from the multi-generation owner. By now, we were wondering about gyros, and we were led to a local spot known for them. We asked the shop owner to give us each half as the calories were mounting up. It was wonderful in moderation. Four hours into the the walk, it was time for the final meal. This was held at a nice waterfront restaurant where seafood dishes were primary (calamari, shrimp, fish), but also some zucchini fritters and carrots with yogurt. Finally, we sampled the varieties of baklava that we had picked up earlier. This one richly deserves to mention “food” in the title.
We spent a delightful morning with our friendly and knowledgeable guide Aybike. Learned so much about Turkish life and had lots of delicious food. Wonderful tips provided about Kusadasi too. Whether on a cruise stop over or visiting on your own, make sure to include a Kuşadası Food and Walking tour, you will always remember it
This is a comprehensive and enjoyable food walking tour. Not only did we get to see the local area of Kusadasi; but we experienced a wide array of local food and entertaining/knowledgeable guides. We had a great time and would suggest this tour to anyone.
Our family was looking for a refreshing visit in the town of Kusadasi and Palot Korkmoz certainly gave us an incredible tour. A perfect sample of the local food mixed with some history of the town. We were comfortably walking into the neighborhood areas and even caught a local weekly market (Thursdays only). This is where we sampled local produce, pancake made in front of us and the most incredible fresh baked baklava! They were very good at accommodating allergies which is wonderful. Incredible English with the in of a local made a gem of a visit to this incredible country!
Wonderful experience fulfilled all our expectations.
This food and walking tour was spectacular! Polar and Gokman were so incredible took us to authentic places and we really got to experience the culture and incredible food - which was all included!
This was an amazing experience and probably our best food tour ever (and we've taken a lot of food tours). Liza did a fantastic job of providing history and culture while also taking us to so many great places to eat where most of the time we were the only tourists (loved it). The food was excellent at every stop and we tried so many delicious traditional Turkish food and drinks. Liza was a great guide! Highly, highly recommend - and come hungry!
We had a delightful time with Liza today. Our small group consisted of two couples. We ate our way through the port and old town areas of Kusadasi. Skip breakfast—you won’t need it. Each place we stopped was better than the last. The food was so plentiful dinner will not be necessary. We highly recommend this tour!!
Wow what a Gem! A Fabulous Food tour that you don’t want to miss. Liza, who is from Kusadasi, was an amazing guide knowledgeable of the city, and her food tastings were outstanding. You won’t leave the tour hungry nor will you be disappointed with this amazing food tour.
This TOUR was FABULOUS!!!! I would highly recommend it. 30 out of 10!! Great information about the city. Great food. Lots of choices. Our guides were AMAZING!!!
I really enjoyed the customer service. She knew what she was saying it was her neighborhood so she knew a lot of local food items.
The food experience was great. But also just getting to hear about turkey as well. By far the greatest tour of eating food
What a great tour. Make sure you arrive hungry as you taste lots of different Turkish dishes. Gokmen , our guide, took us on a food and history adventure visiting numerous food outlets for tastings, a coffee house where she read our grounds, we also visited a mosque & a local bath house. Highlights were the Turkish breakfast with tea, the coffee, Turkish dumplings (absolutely delicious) doner kebab with local yoghurt drink, Turkish delight tasting, cheese tasting, local street food and finished with cold meze and a kebab plate. Best food tour we have been on, so much delicious food & local information. We had. Great day.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. She made us feel very comfortable and welcome. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful food tour in Kusadasi with Cigdem, our guide. We started with a traditional breakfast, then continued to eat our way through Kusadasi with tastes of street foods, Turkish delight, baklava, finishing with a multi course fish lunch. We were stuffed! As a bonus we stopped at several historic sights and were treated to great history of the area. Highly recommend this tour!
Today we had a great time on the Food Tasting tour of Kusadasi. Cigdem was our tour guide for the day and she was excellent. She imparted her knowledge of the town to us while filling us up with local delicacies from many restaurants and specialty stores. I highly recommend the tour.
Polat our guide was very informative and took us on a great walking tour. I would highly recommend him. He took us to some Mosque, Turkish bath, shopping, and gorgeous scenery
