This was so much better than a ship tour! Pick up and drop off were a cinch. Banu was very professional and personal. Her English is superb and she provided us with just the right amount of information. She tailored the entire tour to fit our needs, interests, and capabilities. Our driver was great as well, but we don't remember his name. We had never been to Ephesus before, and the archaeological site as well as the virtual presentation at the visitor center were amazing! We skipped the religious sites and went to a yarn shop, an ancient Turkish bath, a place where rugs were made, a ceramic shop, and a nice lunch. Some were normal choices for the tour and others were stops we requested. The tour was reasonable compared to ship tours. Admission to Ephesus and lunch were extra. Banu extended the tour to over 7 hours to accommodate our added stops and would have gone longer if we wanted.

Banu was a fantastic guide. She gave us so much interesting information. She took us to some very unique places. We loved it.

We had an amazing day exploring Kusadasi with Banu! She was personable, fun, and extremely knowledgeable. We went for a birthday party with 15 people. She made the birthday girl feel very special, and even had a birthday cake arranged for her at our lunch location. Ephesus was incredible. The most extensive ruins I have ever seen. We visited a university that teaches the art of Turkish Carpet making. It was mind blowing! It was fascinating to learn about the process, see one being made, and to see the one of a kind carpets. We then visited the Moon Glow Pottery store, family owned an operated. This was an optional stop on the tour, and well worth it. We would absolutely book with Banu again. I highly recommend her to anyone visiting the area.

Banu was excellent! She is so friendly and fun to learn from. I would definitely recommend her to family and friends. We were able to see so much more than if we had been with a big cruise excursion.

We had a wonderful tour of Ephesus! Walking thru ancient Ephesus, touring the terrace houses, going to the house of the Virgin Mary and the temple of Artemis. We asked to have an authentic Turkish lunch and it was so good! We did go to a rug factory which we hadn’t planned to do but the owners were so nice and helped educate us on the differences between wool and silk rugs. We asked out some places to shop for Turkish hand towels and our guide called his wife for info and then took us to where the locals shop not some touristy place. Would recommend this tour to everyone!

Our tour guide was Banu and she was wonderful! She let us choose what we wanted to do after giving us many/all options! She made suggestions based on our desires and was not pushy towards anything we did not want to do. We requested up front no carpet sales, and so we had NO carpet sales whatsoever. She took us for an authentic turkey farm to table lunch during our day. We ended our day with shopping at local favorites! The perfect day for Ephesus for our 11 member family group.

I booked this family excursion not knowing what to expect and my mind was blown! We were greeted right off the ship by our guide Banu who was the most pleasant, knowledgeable and delightful person we could have asked for. She took us to a wonderfully large van that was always kept nice and cool in the otherwise hot weather and tailored our experience to the things we wanted to see and do, all while giving us the history of each place we visited. We had the unique opportunity to visit places that cruise ship excursions do not and to meet incredible locals along the way. Banu gave us all the time we wanted or needed for every destination, took family photos for us and gave us a lesson in history and culture. Could not have been more impressed!

Great experience! Our tour guide was very flexible and informative. She took us everywhere we wanted to go and more. She knew all the best spots in town and translated for us. Her name was Banu, and you should ask for her for your vacation. She made sure we were always comfortable and she was very affordable compared to the other tour guides we have had along our trip.

Literally the best tour! Ulas took us around and we adjusted the itinerary and really got a taste of Turkey. It was a blessing in disguise. Ulas was informative, fun, flexible, and we really packed in our 4 hours and had the most amazing lunch and afternoon. Ulas assisted us with ange ranges from 14-79 and it was safe and far more than we expected!
