Itinerary
House of Virgin Mary is the place where Mary may have spent her last days. Indeed, she may have come in the area together with Saint John. This place was offically declared a shrine of the Roman Catholic Church in 1986, and since then it has become a popular place of pilgrimage. Pope Paul VI visited shrine in 1967. The visit to the House (church) takes about 45 minutes and after our visit; there will be a 5 min drive to Ephesus.
We will carry on with the visit to Temple of Artemis; which is one of the 'Seven Wonders' of antiquity. Here, there will be good chance to shoot photos of Church of St.John and Mosque of İsa Bey from the best angle as well.
Sirince is an old village of ‘Rum’ (Byzantine Greeks) situated on the hills of Selcuk and 7 km from Ephesus. As part of the peace treaty after Turkish National War (1919-1922), a formal exchange of Turkish and Greeks, was agreed upon and Sirince is inhabited by Turkish now. The village is popular for beautiful traditional houses and fruit flavoured wine production; and you will have a free time for some wine tasting.
Ephesus is an exceptional testimony to the cultural traditions of the Hellenistic, Roman Imperial, and early Christian periods. Ephesus is an important site for Christianity; being one of the seven Churches of Revelation. Apostle Paul probably spent two and half years in Ephesus during his third missionary journey. In two hours, you will be exploring the city by walking on the marble streets, accompanied by our English-speaking tour guide. On our tour, we will be seeing Odeon, State Agora, Prytaneion, Memmius Monument, Domatian Temple, Hercules Gate, Curetes Street, Hadrian Temple, and Latrines. The visit to a Private House (So-called brothel, ‘Terrace Houses’) is an optional visit for an extra 170 ₺/person and your guide should be informed beforehand. After Terrace Houses, we will carry on with our exploration of Celsus Library, Marble Road, Commercial Agora, Great Theather, and Arcadiane (Harbour Road).

Gul and Evian were amazing. Very charismatic and patient. Took us to our spots and explained everything in great detail. I would strongly recommend them for your next trip.
Nizam and Ali were a great combo to take us to Ephesus and other areas. Nizam is very knowledgeable and personable with good English speaking skills. We were very happy with them and would highly recommend them to other people.
We had a brilliant experience on this tour. Our guide, Gul, was extremely knowledgeable, very helpful and kind and made everything so interesting. We felt so glad to be in such a small group, and the vehicle transporting us was very comfortable. Lunch was delicious! Highly recommend!
We did the all-inclusive 7 hr small group tour from Kusadasi cruise port which included the cost of admission tickets and lunch. We had a wonderful time with our tour guide, Mehmet, who was very kind and knowledgeable. There were 8 of us in total on the tour and we were met promptly at the cruise port with clear communication beforehand. The large van was very comfortable and brought us to see all the historic sites including the house of Virgin Mary, Ephesus, Temple of Artemis and an extra drive by of the Basilica of St. John. Lunch was delicious at a Turkish rug factory and we also had extra stops to sample Turkish Delight and to try out glass blowing! Mehmet really went above and beyond when my young daughter left her newly purchased wooden flute on the van at drop off and they turned around to bring it back to us without any hesitation. Highly recommend!!
