Ephesus Tour

Alperen (Alpi) was fantastic! His energy and passion for history made the tour both fun and informative. The schedule was well-balanced — we saw everything without feeling rushed. The driver was great, the food was tasty, and his restaurant tips in Izmir were spot on. Highly recommended!

This trip to Ephesus was an excellent experience. The guide, Mr. Emran was very nice, a knowledgeable person. As per the plan, they picked up us from the Izmir airport and also dropped there well within the timelines.

Erman led the group around the city of Ephesus and it was a great experience. He was knowledgeable about the history and fluent in both English and Spanish, which is very surprising. The site was wonderful and the group has plenty of time to take pictures and take in the view. The tour is also quite flexible on where you want to stay and for how long. Overall, it was a great experience and really recommend for people who don't have transportation to commute from Izmir city to the site.

Do not go! You pay too much for bad historical site. Audio tour was broken, no money back. Pregnant wife was refused toilet. Staff is very unfriendly. Dangerous steps with no warming signs, saw many people fall and hurt themself.

Ephesus is a great place if you like to feel how the Roman lived their lives. The terrace house should be included in the ticket but you have to pay another 25 Euros on top of 40. The multimedia shows is so so for me. The tour is ok, I wish they give us more free time instead she put us in the multimedia show.

Erman is a wonderful guide. He is fluent in english and other languages. His historical knowledge of Izmir is impeccable. He is patient and lively. It was a wonderful trip.

On this tour, we stopped at a ceramics workshop/store, Ephesus, and for lunch. Esra, our guide, was friendly and patient with answering our many questions about the history of Ephesus. One suggestion I have is to give guests more time to wander freely around Ephesus. I felt a little rushed since we didn’t have any time to go off on our own after the historical explanations were finished.

Selim was an excellent guide. He was patient, adjusted to our pace, explained everything so beautifully. The car and the driver were excellent too.

Selim Kamiscilar was a wonderful guide who was informative and knowledgeable. He took us to an interesting pottery place before we toured Ephesus and a great lunch after.

Erman our tour guide was very friendly. He was well knowledged and provided us with enough information without over burdening us. We would recommend this tour to others. Looking forward to tomorrow's tour. 😊

The tour was truly fantastic, immersed myself with the history and touching the ruins of civilization. It made me understand history of what Paul was writing in his letters. Erman the tour guide was very knowlegeable and helpful.

Ephesus is a must see location in Izmir area, the tour includes a pick up and drop off directly from your hotel which is really convenient. The travel agency running the tour is trustworthy and punctual.

The title says it all. For lovers of antiquity, Ephesus is a treat. For those lucky to visit it with Gezenthi’s guide Selim, it is a treat wrapped in pure delight. In addition to the awe-inspiring scenery of antiquity, Selim will colour the faded statues making them come alive with the stories, myths, and legends of the gods and the people of a long lost world.

This was a fantastic tour - enjoyable, well-planned, and well-curated. The ruins of Ephesus are amazing, from the baths to the shops to the library of Celsus. Our guide Aysegul gave us an in-depth commentary on each of the main sites within Ephesus, and again at the house of the Virgin Mary, and really brought to life the city of Ephesus and the background and history to the whole region. I would highly recommend this tour.

Our tour with Aysegul was really amazing. The site of Ephesus itself takes you back in time with its detailed, intact monuments. Aysegul herself was extremely knowledgeable and made learning the history a real treat. Would strongly recommend this tour.

The trip was well planned and well organized. When we went to the museum the guide show us around and we got to see everything with explanations.

The tour was very complete, the guide knew many interesting details and we really enjoyed it. You learn a lot, I really recommend it. The guide also helped us to understand the architecture of the different eras. The tour does not tire, and is used quite a lot, I highly recommend visiting the additional area that have indoors (for an additional cost). We had the flexibility to visit the Virgin Mary house and the Ephesus museum in Seculk.
