Great tour with Sude, she was informative and shared alot of cool history notes. It was easy to find her at the meeting spot. Ephesus was interesting to see. We did stop at a local shop to try some foods, unscheduled, but we didn't mind it as it was a great way to explore the culture. The Temple of Artemis is not worth your time, there's nothing to see there except one column - literally. Not sure why it's an option to see when there's nothing really there. The fort behind the temple, Ayasuluk Citadel, looked more interesting, but I didn't see it any tours for it in my TripAdvisor searches for this city.

Ephesus was one of the ancient world's most important cities and the second-largest after Rome in the 1st century AD, with over 250,000 citizens. A major gateway between East and West, it was a wealthy trading center with a giant harbor and the honeymoon destination of Mark Antony and Cleopatra. Home to the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, Ephesus impresses visitors with its remarkably preserved streets, the ancient world's third-largest library, and the largest Roman theatre on the Asian continent.
The Terrace Houses of Ephesus, near Selçuk, unveil a world of luxury with vivid mosaics, colorful frescoes, and ingenious heating systems. Built into the hillsides, these elite Roman homes reveal the comfort, artistry, and daily lives of the city's wealthiest residents.
Located approximately 7 km south of the ancient city of Ephesus, the House of the Virgin Mary is a small chapel built on the foundations of an earlier structure dating back to the 1st century AD. According to Christian tradition, this is believed to be the final home where the Virgin Mary spent her last days.
The Temple of Artemis was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Its famous cult attracted worshippers and visitors from across the ancient world, making Ephesus an important religious pilgrimage center. The temple reportedly had 127 Ionic columns, each approximately 18.4 meters high. It also served as an important financial center, functioning as a place where wealth and valuables were securely deposited.

Isik was an amazing tour guide. We had an amazing time visiting Ephesus!
Perfect amount of time spent at Ephesus. The guide offered to take us to a Turkish rug making factory. We thoroughly enjoyed it too.
Just expect this tour as a transportation.. and my tour was different from the iternery which was noticed.
Isik has been a wonderful guide she speaks excellent English & shares her knowledge enthusiastically. I've learnt much about Ephesus & enjoyed the tour.
Glad to get Isik as our guide again on the second day. Everything is well planned and executed. Isik is so friendly and helpful
Fantastic visit to Ephesus. , temple of Artemis and house of mary
Ozz gave us excellent historical information and directed us to to delicious fresh pomegranate juice & real Turkish coffee! Thank you Ozz!
Ozz took good care of us to make sure the group was together and got us to our ship on time.
Excellent tour of Ephesus. Hazel told us about everything. Been there 3 times now and Hazel did the best job of anyone.
This was absolutely our favorite excursion of our vacation. Our guide was wonderful and very knowledgeable. We had plenty of time at each of the sites and learned so much. It was amazing to be in the same place where Paul is believed to have preached to the Ephesians and where John's church was. As a Christian this was a surreal experience. The final stop to watch the handmade process of making beautiful carpets was so interesting to watch.
A great tour. Our guide was a lovely lady whose name I did not get unfortunately. She was extremely well informed, caring and obviously in love with her job
This was one of our best tours. Funda was a wonderful guide. She explained throughly the sites we saw. I highly recommend it.
Prompt pick up. Isik was an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgable and friendly, we were lucky to have her!
Isik was incredible! Ask for her on your trip.
Medi is a wonderful guide. Very informative and knowledgeable. We covered all of itinerary efficiently and thoroughly.
Ozz was a wonderful guide and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour.
Excellent excursion. So much history. Guide was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. Would have been 5 stars had our guide not told me that I was being rude because I wouldn't participate in the previously unannounced and unwanted stop at some rug makers business.
Ezgi, our guide did an excellent job. She is very professional, respectful & responsive. She got a great friendly personality!
Great experience with the travel guide Ezgi who is so knowledgeable and accommodating. Would definitely recommend her for everyone to experience.
Incredible day, great tour guide who was very informative. Lot of walking at Ephesus, but well worth it. Toilet stop at Mary's house visit. We were given water on the bus, which was comfortable and had aircon. We included the lunch in our tour, Chicken & delicious Meatballs, rice, vegies and salad, condiments, we also had a very delicious chocolate cake and that tasted like a peanut butter sweet sauce. It was a lovely setting to enjoy our lunch, but be warned lunch was not until 2pm. Drinks were not included, but very reasonably priced. Then our guide took us to watch carpet being made. Very interesting. Be aware they will try and sell rugs to you. Then we were returned to the water front near the ship.
They organised everything really well and kept me well informed of the day itinerary. I felt very comfortable as a lone woman travelling with the driver to meet the rest of the group. The driver was friendly and warm. Ozz was a well informed and communicative tour guide who was reliable and spoke fantastic English.
Ozz our guide and the deiver Sait are amazing. We had Ephesus and the surrounding tour with them and Ozz was very informative and knowledgable and the tour was fun.
The only way to appreciate Ephasus is with a knowledgeable guide. Our guide reached out before we found our meet-up point. There were so many groups we were totally confused about where to be. She kept us moving through the crowds, provided valuable insights, and answered our questions like a pro. This was our first time in Turkey - so glad we scheduled something like this,
The tour was amazing but our guide Hati is what made the trip special. She is wonderful. Had has a depth of knowledge but a true love for the country she was born and raised. This came thru in each place we visited. We would highly recommend both her company and most of all Hadi.
Very fun and informative. Lots of history knowledge annd consideration
Nothing is better than having an experience that is way above your initial expectation. Our tour guide, Eda, made our Ephesus tour just that! Her wealth of knowledge is a gem and made for a memorable day.

Eda was amazing! Great tour great guide
This was an absolutely spectacular tour! The small group size made it so personal. Our guide, Funda, was so friendly, and knowledgeable of all the history and information for the sites. Definitely take the time to do the lunch break with her. The food was delicious! By the end of the tour, we felt like she was part of our family. This tour is a must do!
Funda was an excellent guide! Historical knowledge regarding the ruins of Ephesus and Templenof Artnemis was top notch. Enjoyed a delicious authentic Turkish lunch and learning about the turkish carpet weaving followed by the luxurious leather outlet store. Highly recommend.

Guide was wonderful and so informative. This is an excellent excursion.
Very knowledgeable Isik The sites were very interesting
Great excursions. Guide was excellent.
We chose the skip the line half day tour of Ephesus and the Artemis temple. This was the perfect length tour for us as we came off our cruise ship and wanted to leave some time to do some shopping around the port. Our guide Mehmet was very patient and knowledgeable and Ephesus is an amazing place to visit.
Ozz, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and highlighted all the key points with ease and humor. He also kept an eye out for everyone’s safety (the marble footpaths can be slippery even when it was sunny). The driver and bus made the journey comfortable as well.
Ozz was great tour guide. We had fun. Nice car and beautiful lunch
