Great Tour guide with excellent knowledge of Ephesus and Turkey (History and Culture). Arzu has great command of the English language. Hussein is a great driver. We like the exposure to the local food and culture however the leather coat factory personnels are very aggressive in selling their products which affects the entire great experience. Hence the rating of the 4 star. Customer should not be forced to buy overpriced products.

This was the best tour we had on our 11 day trip thanks to Chuck who was a very knowledgeable guide who shared many interesting facts about the places we visited. He was very adept at minimizing crowds and long lines. As an added bonus, he took us to have a very authentic Turkish meal.

Had a tour scheduled, They were great at setting things uo the way we wanted them Could not believe the great price and the communication back and forth was terrific. Due to the Coranvirus situation we could not take the cruise. They graciously cancelled with no problem. Great people !

Let me start by saying that it is easy to book with this company. Also, our cruise itinerary changed and Elif contacted us about the switch before our travel agent did in order to let us know that he could switch the tour date. Our day in Ephesus with Serdar (who came back a day early from his vacation in order to guide us) was perfect! If you are lucky enough to get him, you won’t be disappointed, but I’ll bet that all of their guides are good. We were met exactly where stated and a beautiful black Mercedes van picked us up. We spent the day learning about this historic and beautiful area. The tour of the ruins was the highlight. Having a gorgeous lunch in a picnic-like setting and having the opportunity to ask questions and converse with our personal tour guide was so fun. And finished with a quick informative tour of how the beautiful Turkish rugs are made. Great day!

We were picked up at our Hotel on time by our guide Leyla and taken on our private tour of the sights of Ephesus. Our guide was wonderful and very knowlegable of all the history of the sight. The tour was tailored to what we wanted to see and we had plenty of time to see all and take photos. Ephesus itself was truly amazing. We had a very delicious and relaxing lunch at a shaded garden restaurant. We toured the museum in the afternoon which was also very interesting. Leyla was very considerate that we were travelling with our children aged 5 and 8 and that they were comfortable at all times. I would highly recommend this tour, it was thoroughly enjoyable and Leyla was an excellent guide. Our trip to Ephesus was a very memorable experience.

We woke up in Izmir to be picked up by a driver and guide that were arranged by Best of Ephesus Tours. I had not used many private guides before and I was a bit skeptical, but Mehmet (Memo) was one of the best that I have seen. He was knowledgeable, funny, courteous, and interesting, and took us through the House of Mother Mary, the ancient city of Ephesus and the Temple of Artemis, of the 7 wonders of the ancient world. In between, we also took a lunch break and had a wonderful Turkish kebab lunch in a garden with plenty of meze, bbq kebabs and fresh fruit. I would highly recommend Mehmet as a private guide, who can bring alive the tour and add so many interesting stories as you're walking through each site. I especially enjoyed asking him is views on everyday life in Turkey and on current events that are happening now. After a long day of touring, we bid farewell and drove 3 hours to Bodrum. Best of Ephesus Tours also arranged private transportation for us in a comfortable van with a great driver (Suleyman). We got to the beach town safely and continued on with our 2 week tour of Turkey.

It was a very good tour, Mehmet was very knowledgeable, we went to different places and learned a lot about Ephesus as well as Izmir. We made a stop for lunch after the tour, highly recommended local food. Very good team, thanks!

We really enjoyed our private tour of Ephesus. Isik was a perfect guide. She was funny, easy to understand, knowledgeable and an all-round great person. The driver’s car was clean and comfortable. Elif who we organised the tour through was flexible with date changes, quick to respond to our emails and a good communicator. I highly recommend this reputable company!

This tour was the centerpiece of my Mediterranean cruise. Delik's detailed knowledge of the historic sites cannot be over emphasized, In addition, she was very gracious in sharing her country's culture with me. Since there were no time constraints on the tour I could ask questions at any time which made the experience truly unforgettable. We had a private tour conducted by Tour guide Ayse, whom was so friendly and full of information and knowledge about all the above parts of our tour; we felt very comfortable asking Ayse any questions and we would highly recommend her as a tour guide; We were not under a time restriction and were able to proceed during the tour at our own pace which we appreciated; we were transported in a very comfortable recent model well airconditioned vehicle which was necessary as it was a very hot day; and being such a hot day, we were provided with sun umbrellas which was a great touch! Overall a very well organised day with a professional tour company and tour guide Ayse!

Ishik was an amazing tour guide and offered us insight into the history of an amazing place in a way that cannot be explained.Her thoughtfulness into setting up the tour to the smallest detail is recommendable and praiseworthy,none seen ever before.This tour was the highlight amongst the many wonderful experiences we had in Turkey.

We booked the Private Tour of Ephesus & Sirence Village. But...........for the most part we could make this anything we wanted. As we started out our tour guide Isik asked if we wanted to do as stated and if there were things we wanted to add or take out. Both the guide and the driver were really good, the van we rode in was brand new with good air conditioning and even umbrellas in case we wanted them for sun or rain. Isik's english was amazingly good without even an accent and she was very knowledgeable and fun to be around. It was really nice to be able to get to know a guide and get a brief look in the life of people living and working in the area. We were so happy we went this route as we saw the crowds on tours when we reached Ephesus having our own guide and being able to just move at our own pace was great! This company was very professional and detail oriented. A pleasure to work with all around.
