Genghis was an amazing guide! He was very sensitive in pulling us aside to give us history away from the crowds. He also timed the sites so that we avoided crowds as well. He also gave us options on what to see. We would love to take a tour by him again if we get back to Turkey.

What a day in Turkey!!! This was a stop on our cruise and Inan was spectacular!!!!! He was very kind to us and so knowledgeable. We went from 9-3 and our private van was so clean with a very good driver Armaunch. It really was our best day shopping. Inan took us to all of the very nice shopping Turkey offers. Thank you for an amazing day and taking care of us!!!!

We had a wonderful day with our guide Ege Erkan from Curio Tours. This young man was a wealth of knowledge, personable and so willing to ensure we were enjoying ourselves. Ephesus is an amazing historic site to visit. We also enjoyed a trip to a Turkish Delight store where samples were abundant. The ceramics demo was very interesting. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and carpet weaving demonstration. Overall, we had a great day and would recommend this tour Thanks Ege Erkan for showing us your beautiful country.

We enjoyed the history and cultural background that Alex provided. He was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We really enjoyed the meal and carpet making demonstration.

Inan and the driver picked up our group in a luxury van and drove us to see many historical sites we would have never seen on our own. Inan was very informative and patient with our many questions. He is very proud of his country and it shows!

Great tour and tour guide. Did not include entrance to the terrace houses at Ephesus so if you want to do that, you will need to purchase those tickets separately. We did not know this but still had a great tour.

This excursion at first view looked more expensive than others. But one must take into account what’s included. You get a well appointed spotlessly clean private bus, with a good driver. A very knowledgeable, pleasant guide. Doing all he can to deliver you a great day. Prepaid entrance tickets without the wait. Topped off by a good traditional Greek luncheon. I highly recommend this tour.

An excellent tour of the Old Town Istanbul. TaHa met us at the port and we took the tram to Old Town.He expertly gave us the history of the area and we were able to see everything we had hoped. Wear good walking shoes.TaHa was also very responsive to tailoring the day to ensure we got to do what we wanted as he gave us options

We had the best day with Urgurcan!! We had a private tour (and separate driver) and learned so much! We got to visit a lot of different places too! Turkey was our 49th country and 6th continent and Urgurcan was THE BEST tour guide we ever had! He was filled with knowledge and shared ever but he had with us! The country is beautiful and filled with history and we are blessed to have visited and picked an amazing tour! Thank you Urgucan!! (We hope to see you again!)

The tour was OK. It was not what I expected. He was not excited about the stops. We looked out the window at the ruins. We stopped at a pottery shop ( he asked us and we said yes). Rather than just taking us on the Athenian way he asked if we wanted to just see the top part. I wished he would have just followed the tour itinerary. The husbands weren’t excited about seeing it so we just saw the top part. Marys house is a very small building with a few artifacts brought by popes. We stopped for lunch at a tourist stop at the rug factory. That was painful trying to get away from them selling rugs. I wouldn’t recommend this tour. Maybe another would be better.

so great!! it is amazing. I did not know how much great Ephesus was before I visited there. I was so impressed, than the Piramid in Egyipt or Pomphei in Rome.

Wonderful day spent with our guide and driver. Very knowledgeable and helpful. They also were very aware of traffic patterns and because we were a small group, they were able to pivot and avoid massive crowds. In addition, they provided an additional stop at a leather store on the way back to the cruise port.

Even though the sky was gray and the rain came down, Ozge created a most memorable day for us. She truly has unlimited knowledge on Ephesus. She brought the entire “city” to life for us by painting a picture of a time thousands of years ago. It was a fascinating tour and the highlight for us was the House of Mary. Would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone wanting a true behind the scenes tour. Private is the way to go to avoid the massive crowds of people.

We had a great day with Conga (Rose). She was very knowledgeable. Lunch was at a nice outdoor family restaurant. She checked to see how crowded Mary’s House would be so we went there first to avoid crowds.

Amazing tour. Skip the line all inclusive tour of the Virgin Mary’s house as well as Ephesus and a Turkish Lunch. Alex was amazing and gave us a lot of information that we all found informative. The minivan was comfortable and much easier to navigate than the larger buses.

This was an amazing tour. Pinar was so knowledgeable and friendly. Terrace house add on is a must. We mentioned we wanted to try Turkish delight and she took us to a shop where we got to sample everything. She took us to Ephesus first and then the house of the Virgin Mary so that we wouldn't be stuck in long lines. A lot of the comments here. Don't like the carpet demonstration but I think it was really informative and made me appreciate the art. We did not buy anything and did not feel pressured too by anything. The launch was delicious and felt very authentic. The price for this experience is unbeatable.

We booked the ALL INCLUSIVE Private Ephesus & The House of Mary & Turkish Lunch tour, and it was absolutely incredible from start to finish! Our driver arrived early, which allowed us to get our day started right away. The van was spotless, comfortable, and the AC was amazing, especially in the heat! Our guide, Tez, was FANTASTIC! He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and so passionate about his country. You could genuinely feel the pride he has for Turkey as he shared its history and culture with us. We learned so much, but it never felt like we were being lectured or overloaded with information. It felt like spending the day with someone who truly loves what he does. We also really appreciated that we were never rushed. Tez gave us time to wander, take pictures, ask questions, and enjoy each site at our own pace. Then came the traditional Turkish lunch, and WOW! The food was phenomenal. Everything was fresh and farm-to-table, and the hospitality was even better. The entire experience felt authentic and personal. We were treated more like family than tourists. The House of the Virgin Mary, Ephesus, the history, the food, and especially Tez made this an unforgettable day. We were on a 7-day cruise with several amazing stops, and this was hands down the BEST experience of our entire cruise. If you are considering this tour, BOOK IT! And if you can request Tez, DO IT! Absolutely an awesome tour, guide and overall service. Guide (Tess) was just outstanding. His knowledge of Ephesus, Turkey and the English language was amazing. We had 6 (3 couples) on the tour and all would do it again. Best 5 hour tour on our trip.

This was an excellent tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and took his time to explain everything as we travelled to various points of interest. We were picked up in a new Mercedes van and we had a private tour. We went to the Virgin Mary house which was very interesting. Then we went to the ancient ruins which was incredible to see. From there we went to see how Turkish rugs were made by hand which was very educational . Then we went to have a traditional Turkish lunch which was delicious. Our tour guide Mustafa took very good care of us. We highly recommend this tour. 5 Stars !

Having a guide explaining all the history and significance of the ruins makes it much more interesting. It was a private tour for two of us and meal included was excellent. The guide was totally informative and flexible.

Spent the day on this private tour with Jeda who was amazing and super knowledgeable. Seeing the house of Mary was such a unique experience and having an authentic lunch were great. Our tour guide though really made it extra special with her knowledge and passion for the country and her culture.

Excellent tour. Alex was knowledgeable and extremely helpful and considerate when I my symptoms of intestinal distress from the night before showed up again. He even called ahead to restaurant to insure I had boiled potatoes to eat. And when the tour was over, he brought me to a pharmacy open on Sunday to explain to the pharmacist what I needed. Thank you, thank you. A private tour is the way to go, taking us to the main sites but also to other places we wanted to see. Highly recommend this tour and ask for Alex.

We booked the all inclusive private Esphesus and the house of Mary and Turkish lunch. I have to note that our tour guide was extremely flexible as our cruise ship switched the day we would be in Ephesus literally 2 days before our booked excursion. I reached out to the guide directly and she said no problem - we could switch our day. That was a relief. We were picked up at the port and we then visited the Temple of Artemis, the Magnesia Gate, the Forum, the Odeon, the Library of Celsus and the Great Theater. We also visited the House of the Virgin Mary and then had a delicious lunch. We were then shown how they make carpets and while I wasn't terribly interested I have to admit seeing the silkworms was pretty cool. We did sit for a few minutes to view carpets but it was low pressure and eventually we thanked them for their time and left.

The guide was amazing. Her knowledge was wonderful. Her attitude was great and she made it her mission to make sure we understood everything about this ancient city experience.

Our tour guide was simple fantastic. She took the opportunity to get to know us and what we wanted to get out of the day. She gave us different options to explore and it turned into a perfect day.

We weren’t sure how well we would enjoy Turkey but by far this was our favorite place. Alec was amazing and I would recommend him highly! He answered all our questions and our group of 10 had many. He was very knowledgeable and insightful. Every stop we made was enjoyable and the lunch was fantastic! Definitely a ten out of ten experience!!

Cem was a great guide. I gave a review earlier but I wanted to say one thing I dont agree with is forcing a Costumer to do a review while still in the vehicle with the tour guide. I come from an industry where reviews are important but would never say log on and give me a review. He was so friendly and personable and knowledgeable. The tour was amazing.

He listened to what we wanted to see, took us there and gave us lots of very interesting information. He was super pleasant, the entire day was very comfortable and felt like he was just there for us.

We had a fantastic experience from the pickup to coming back at the cruise. The history was very well explained and presented. The house of virgin Mary was very nice and we avoided the big lineup due to Olgu experience. The visit at Ephesus was the real highlight, the knowledge of the place was clearly well know to him, the view incredible and the museum was insane, must do activity. The food was the best we had so far from our cruise, the quality and service was great. Strongly suggest this visit with Olgu if you have the chance. A+ visit

Fall in love with Turkey… we enjoyed this tour the most from all our cruise tours. The knowledge Gonca shared and every experience was perfect. Private car was so comfortable always waiting for us to not have to walk too far. We never felt rushed to explore. Traveling with kids as well and we felt comfortable and taken care of. Thank you again for a beautiful experience. I would recommend this tour to anyone that wants it all taken care of for them.
