Thea Butik Hotel & Restaurant

We visited this hotel in the summer, and unfortunately, it turned out to be the biggest disappointment of our holiday. We had booked a room with a view. At first glance, the hotel looks charming with its Greek island–style theme. However, the issues quickly became apparent. The air conditioning unit was leaking water through the wall, leaving behind a visible trail of moss-like growth around 20cm wide and 2m long. While this didn’t directly affect our stay, it was a clear sign of poor maintenance. Later that evening, we met another couple who were leaving because of bed bugs. We didn’t take their warning seriously at first and decided to stay. Unfortunately, we soon discovered bed bugs crawling on us during the night, which completely ruined our stay. The next morning, we raised the issue with the manager. His response was extremely disappointing — he told us it would be “cleaned the following day” and offered no alternative room or solution. When we asked for our €100 deposit back, he refused, claiming it was because we had used the pool. We had chosen this hotel based on recommendations from people we know, but sadly, the management has recently changed, and it clearly shows. What could have been a wonderful stay turned into a very unpleasant experience.

The only thing the hotel has going for it is the location management/Owners not interested. We was there for a week for a wedding in seven days no one came near the room to clean we had to go up in the reception to ask for clean towels and toilet paper, breakfast was very poor always the same nothing for the kids not even milk the rooms are small sockets coming off the wall half the lights don't work no yea or coffee facilities not even a glass definitely won't be staying here again or recommend it.

We decided to stay in this hotel to visit the Sigacik region, and we can say that we were satisfied at the end of the day. The hotel is managed a family with kind people. The hotel proposes a nice view of Sigacik bay, good landscape, great location to arrive center of location. Considering it is a three star hotel, we can give 4/5 for overall services. If you ask how 5/5 could be, I would say two things, the daily room and meal prices might be decreased, and the room services might be improved.

Very friendly staff and great views from the hotel. Great food from the restaurant. The only thing I didn't like was the smoking was permitted in the restaurant and the smell traveled throughout the building.
