I went there in May, and I would never, ever go back! The first red flag about this hotel was that it looked very shady in the pictures. I happened to talk to another guest, and they showed me a photo of a used condom in their room right after they checked in, even though it had supposedly been "cleaned." Why do I believe them? A friend of mine wasn’t allowed to walk me to my room or book a room for themselves at this hotel. The man at the reception was clearly racist, and that was already a third red flag. He also implied that my friend was "my client" - a preposterous claim, especially when, 15 minutes later, a man came into the lobby with a drunk, or maybe even drugged companion and was allowed to pay for a room for the night. Basically, this hotels’ policies are nonexistent or a double standard. I left as soon as I could, and I’m writing this review now to warn future guests in Izmir about the "lovely, welcoming atmosphere and hospitality" of this hotel. They can count the red flags for themselves and decide whether this experience is worth their money and time. For me it was a very disappointing experience.

I am so sad and angry at the same time. I payed for a room for 2, but when my partner (he is a person of color, african) came, this awful man on the reception told me my partner is not welcome there! Old, ugly building with very narrow minded service! Not very mashallah if you ask me!

I do not recommend this hotel. The location might be good for those who don't have a car, there's a train station nearby which causes the building to shake when one passes under the building. It's not quiet because of the street.

Our stay at the hotel was absolutely amazing, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was one of the staff members - Mesut who helped us with literally everything we needed. It’s very rare to meet someone so genuinely kind, helpful, and dedicated to making guests feel comfortable and welcome. No matter what we needed — recommendations, assistance, organization, or even the smallest details — he was always there with a smile, incredible professionalism, and such positive energy. Thanks to him, we felt more like friends than guests. That kind of service is something you never forget. The hotel itself is beautiful, the atmosphere is great, and the overall service was excellent, but people like him are what truly make a place special. He went above and beyond for us every single day, and we are incredibly grateful. This is exactly why we will definitely come back again. Huge respect and a big thank you for everything!
