We saw so many negative reviews of this place before coming so came with very low expectations, however we were not in the least disappointed! The hotel is lovely, definitely somewhat run-down but for what we paid we certainly weren't expecting luxury. The guy at the desk when we arrived was friendly and helpful, he was there every evening and happily answered any questions we had. Our room was clean, cool and comfortable, with good aircon and a nice balcony, although we found hot water in the shower was only really available later in the day, I presume because it is solar heated. This was generally not a problem because it was so warm outside, a cool shower was generally what we wanted. The bed was huge and comfortable, and the blanket was definitely all we needed, although I suppose if you sleep far apart from one another, you may find it on the small side? The pools were clean and lovely and the areas around them hosed regularly. Breakfast was different each day which I enjoyed, although it did make it pot luck as to whether you'd find something you liked. My husband enjoyed chatting to the five gorgeous pekin ducks swimming about outside the window, and I liked taking my breakfast down by the river. Although we saw plenty of ants outside (as to be expected), enjoying dropped leftovers, we didn't have a problem with any in our room or the breakfast area. There were so many beautiful cats roaming the outside spaces, including a gorgeous litter of kittens who were well cared for and fed and watered daily. The lovely dog outside is also incredibly friendly and from my experience only every barked briefly for attention when he wanted strokes. It is clear that there are run-down areas. The hotel boat is parked out the back in an overgrown grassy area that presumably used to be lawns, and when you walk along the river behind the hotel you can see into a derelict area that presumably used to be for customers and is now a dumping ground for broken hotel items, but the areas we had access to were all clean, bright and welcoming so I couldn't see a problem. We were, after all, there to visit Dalyan so only really at the hotel for breakfast, sleep, and down-time by the pool, and it was so close to the town that we were able to nip in and out as much as we liked. We had to check out of our room at 12 on the last day and our shuttle wasn't until 5:30 but we were allowed to leave our things in the lobby and still enjoy the pool areas and bar until the evening. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and, if we decide to come to Dalyan again, will not hesitate to book in to the BC Spa.

Had a lovely stay at BC spa hotel with my husband end of June 2026. Set in a beautiful location beneath the cliff edges and surrounding mountings. Beside a flowing river is truly a tranquil environment. With a short walking distance to a vibrant town full of life, energy, and activities. This hotel is a delight. It has a wholesome feeling of natural nature inspired design that sets it apart from the rest. It's full of character with a beautiful layout and I would say it has so much potential. The seating area by the river is charming to have you're breakfast by. Such a peaceful treat to start you're day. The breakfast could be improved with little added extras and it would be perfect. The staff are very nice warm and welcoming. Resolved any issues we had. The room was cleaned often and the air conditioning with tiled walls kept the room nice and cool. We had a wonderful stay amd would come again jenny & Eren.
Appalling animal welfare. Avoid. The rooms are fine. The staff are polite. None of that matters. During our stay we discovered the hotel keeps a dog chained outside in full sun - chain so short it cannot reach its own kennel for shade. In 30+ degree heat. This is not negligence by omission; someone deliberately set that chain length. Someone makes that choice every morning. When we raised it with management, the response was dismissive and defensive. No acknowledgement, no apology. They were more bothered about being challenged than about the animal suffering ten metres from their front door. I can overlook a lot in a hotel - a noisy room, a slow breakfast, an uncomfortable mattress. I cannot overlook deliberate cruelty to an animal paired with zero accountability when confronted about it. If you care about how animals are treated - and you should - do not give this place your money. There are plenty of hotels that manage to run a business without causing preventable suffering to a dog that has no choice but to lie in the sun and wait for someone to notice. We noticed. We’re telling you. P.S I had to avoid a turd (dog) on route to breakfast at least 5 times. No one felt the need to remove.
