I’m speechless! The service that our tour guides, Biney and Kofi, provided are far beyond words can say! I was with a group of 7 people in Ghana and the level of service and detail provided by our tour guides exceeded our expectations by a long shot. They were always on time and would patiently wait on us at our hotel and in the markets while shopping. They carried our bags and negotiated for us to make sure we didn’t pay beyond that of the locals for certain items. They checked us in at all our hotels and venues and even went so far as to check our rooms to make sure that they were up to par. They were able to get us into sold out events and not only that but with VIP service (literally - free bottles of alcohol, tables, and all)! They were very accommodating and didn’t mind that we would change up the schedule for the day. I’ve never had service like this in all my travels. I am even considering visiting countries that I’ve not even had on my radar to visit, just so that I can use them again. I cannot recommend Biney and Kofi enough!! I’m hoping to see them again very soon!! 5 stars isn’t even a high enough rating to give here! You will not regret using them as your tour guides!

Biney is the kindest gentlest soul I've ever encountered. He made my group and I feel at how despite the fact that we were 5000+ miles away from home. From the moment we meet he taught invaluable lessons about life and about Ghana's rich culture and history. If you are traveling to Ghana you have to allow him and his team share their country with you. I can not wait until I have another opportunity to see my brother again.
Upon arrival, I was warmly met at the airport by Biney along with his staff holding a sign personalized with my name. Little did I know, that Biney’s warm smile and infectious energy would set the course for an awesome Ghana experience!.. Biney and his staff were very friendly and knowledgeable during my stay in Accra, Ghana...I could not imagine visiting Ghana without Biney and his staff’s personal touches that made my stay so very memorable! His expertise in the area afforded me opportunities to see Ghana in a way I could never have imagined. I am still reeling from the energy obtained from my extended homeland. For an unforgettable experience do not hesitate to choose Biney and his staff!!
I truly cannot put into words the experience my group had. We traveled from the US to experience the Year of Return in Ghana this past December 2019, and were absolutely overwhelmed by the loving experience. Biney lead our group throughout the country where we experienced a rich variety of happenings. Biney was patient, loving, attentive to our needs, he made quick adjustments, he paid attention to detail, made sure we were happy, safe and satisfied. One of the things I truly appreciated was that he was very knowledgeable and he built strong relationships with many people who were able to get us into places quickly, get our food delivered with urgency, and he went above and beyond to secure tickets when we heard about other events during our free time. The tour was completely life altering as we were able to go to villages, townships, museums, boat cruises, and so much more. I’m currently on the plane headed to the US but had to make sure I leave a review. Biney and his entire team worked around our timing and was always on time and there when we needed them. Every time! The love we have for Biney is unmeasurable. Truly excited for our next trip with Blemawe Xpo Ghana!
Biney was born for this. Having visited Ghana for the first time and travelling solo, I was a bit apprehensive, but from the moment Biney Yao met me, those feelings subsided. Care, attention to detail, going the extra mile and having fun were all part of this extraordinary experience. I would not hesitate in recommending Blemawe Expo and Biney to anyone, you will not be disappointed. Thank you for making my stay so absolutely awesome and keep up the great work. You are a gift Akosua
Having visited Ghana 2x before, this was my best trip ever, made possible by our guide Nana Yao Biney and supporting staff. My family of 14 and 10 additional travelers combined to a group of 24. We were so well attended to, it didn’t take long to feel as if we were family. Over the 11-day tour through Accra, Kumasi, Duakewe, Cape Coast Dungeons, and other places, the Blemawe Xpo Ghana group made sure we kept to our schedule while enjoying the culture of the country and having a great time. With 5 children under the age of 12, I was a little nervous about how they would manage. They immediately took to Biney and felt safe as we toured the small towns, took bathroom breaks in unfamiliar surroundings, and interacted with vendors. Within hours of our arrival, the kids knew him and the staff by name, and were excited to start all of our tours with him leading the way. The knowledge from the Professor enhanced our trip tremendously, as he seemed to know everything, and was able to supplement additional information at various locations, such as at the Kwame Nkrumah Moseleum, Cape Coast Dungeons, and W.E.B. DuBois museum. Biney was a wealth of information as well, sharing knowledge about the food, vendors, Tro Tro men and also at our tour and discussion of the Asante History. Our guides were ar our side every step of the way, even towards the end of our trip when our flight was delayed. They went above and beyond to ensure we were accommodated with adequate lodging and continued to keep in touch until we had reached our final destinations. I’ve never had a more fulfilling visit to the motherland. In this Year of the Return, I couldn’t have asked for a more sincere, knowledgeable, respectful staff of guides to welcome us, journey with us, instill knowledge in us, and allow us to experience a sense of family from the heritage of which we most likely descended. Two thumbs up go out to the entire staff at Blemawe Xpo Ghana! Thank you for everything!!
When I got to my destination after a 3.5 hour ride in a private car I booked I realized I didn’t have enough Ghanaian money to pay the driver, the first people to greet me and help me pay for my car was them!! I was not expecting it at all!! My trip was shortened due to work but they made it feel like I was there the entire time the rest of my family had been there. Anything I needed they provided with proper knowledge and the best translations that made me more than comfortable! I was in good hands. They made me feel like Queen! I’m so grateful to them for taking care of my family after their flights were canceled and had to stay up to 3 days after they were due to be home. I honored to have met them and to have been under their care!
Biney, I just want You to Know My Brother You are/were a God-send; You have been given a gift of warmth and Leadership. You shall go far in anything You put your mind to; don’t stop reaching for the stars! 👏🏾🙏🏾👊🏾🤴🏾☝🏾 The way You led Us on Our journeys, cared for My entire family (including Our new extended family gained🤗), and my children was beyond words my friend. I could continue to point out the priceless value that Adansi, Biney, Prof., Ruth; and their Extended Crew, the driver/mechanic offered. Yet there is not enough time and words! I will conclude just by stating We will return, & call on You once again My Friend, at that time; and I suggest You do the same fellow travelers, when You decide to Travel within the Glorious Country of Ghana, Home! Thanks & Many Blessings always, My Brother.....
Never in a million years would I have thought that traveling with 25 people would be executed so perfect on our visit to Ghana! This was an educational/cultural trip for a group from various parts of the states! Our days always started with punctual transportation service with the welcoming smile of Biney and his engaging driver and mechanic! Our tour include visits to (1) the four leading universities in Ghana; (2) market places; (3) the DuBois Centre, the home and final resting place of W.E.B. DuBois; (4) the palace of the Asantehene, the most powerful chief in Ghana; (5) Lake Bosomtwe, a lakeside resort; (6) Bonwire, a kente weaving village; (7) Ntonso, an adinkra printing village; and (8) the village of Agona Duakwa, (9) Cape Coast Castle, and more. We had a fun filled experience for the two weeks we visited! Biney was phenomenal in ensuring that we had the best cultural experience! Our group felt safe and confident to sincerely enjoy our time in Ghana through the leadership of Biney as our tour guide! We had kids in our group from 6 to 16 and Biney made sure they were well taken care of and had just as good of an experience as the adults! I’m sure hosting a group of 25 with so many different needs at times was not the easiest task. However, Biney had the patience of Job and was determined to take full responsibility of our 100% satisfaction! He never stopped smiling and truly went above and beyond to make this the greatest Ghana Excursion ever! We received 125% satisfaction from Biney! Yes! We will indeed return again and wont hesitate calling for Biney to assist! My girls and I have a new addition to the family and will forever remain in debt to Biney for this wonderful experience and new friendship! His work ethic is exceptional! His professionalism and execution style should be the model for the company! Biney can’t be duplicate, but he should definitely be a part of the training of others and include a pay raise!
Recently returned from a study abroad in Ghana with my university. There were 20 students that went and Biney was our tour guide. Biney was by far the best tour guide I’ve ever had. He was sooo knowledgeable about the history, culture, local spots to hit and activities that everyone would enjoy. He worked tirelessly to make our trip an unforgettable one and far exceeded all of our expectations. 24/7 he made us feel safe, comfortable and welcome in Ghana. He never slacked off for even a second and was always watching out for us not just as our tour guide but as a very good friend and he treated us like family. Biney has such a huge heart and having him as your tour guide you won’t just get an amazing trip you’ll get an unforgettable friend! I could not possibly recommend him higher and emphasize how amazing he was, never travel to Ghana without at least meeting him!:)
This trip was absolutely amazing and an essential part was our tour guide. Without him, we would have definitely been lost and not only was he dedicated and experienced in his work he considered our opinions, our needs as well as our struggles throughout the trip. The cultural integration was made smooth with the help of our tour guide whose insight, through accurate and objective, also showed his appreciation and love for Ghana. I would absolutely recommend using this service and our great tour guide Biney!
I recently just got back from a month long trip in Ghana, in which we visited three cities: Accra, Kumasi, and Cape Coast. Our trip was led by Biney, who was without a doubt, the best tour guide I’ve ever had. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of not only Ghana, but each and every city that we traveled to. Any question that was asked by a student, Biney was ready with an answer. In addition to being a fantastic professional, Biney connected to each of the 20 students on a personal level. Biney treated us like family from the minute we met him. Biney accommodated all of our needs including meals, excursions, and nightlife. Biney constantly went out of his way to make us feel safe and comfortable. I had the the experience of a lifetime and it was all thanks to Blemawe Xpo!
If you are looking for a perfectly curated and masterfully planned trip to Ghana, Blemawe Xpo is the way to go. I just returned from a 4-week trip to Ghana visiting three different cities: Accra, Kumasi and Cape Coast. The most incredible part of the trip was the outstandingly positive attitude and way of life that Ghanaians live. Ghanaian people have an ability to connect with others, unmatched by any other ethnic or cultural group. Fortunately, we were blessed with the best tour guide on the planet, Biney. He is the greatest and made me feel like family the moment I stepped off the plane. They handle every aspect of your trip including travel, food, nightlife, site visits, and hotel accommodations. Any question you had and Biney knew the answer. He customizes your trip to your exact needs and preferences for what you want to experience in Ghana. I highly recommended connecting with Biney in what will be one of the most incredible trips of your lifetime.
My time in Ghana was incredible. Our class of 20 students experienced and saw culture like never before. Our tour guide Biney went above and beyond in accommodating all of us. Every moment of the trip was well planned, from eating authentic food to visiting a traditional village. Our bus drivers were excellent too, getting us to each destination on time and safely. I felt excited to learn about culture and health in Ghana. We were guided through markets, forests, hospitals and other cultural sites. All of which were amazing experiences. I highly recommend a tour of Ghana with Biney. He is a caring and warm person who will tailor your experience for you. No question or inquiry went unanswered. My experience will be one I remember forever and I can’t wait to visit again!
Biney was the best tour guide I have ever had. Not only did he have vast knowledge about the history of each place we visited, but he also developed a personal relationship with all of us. Over the span of a month, Biney took the time to get to know pretty much everyone on the tour (20 students). Biney always made sure that we were comfortable, felt safe, and were taken care of. Regardless of what we needed, Biney went out of his way to make sure we got it. He took very good care of all of us, and I could not recommended him more highly!
Twenty students and I recently visited Ghana on a study abroad trip for the month of June. Without our tour guide Biney, our trip could not have been so impactful and unforgettable. As a young woman, I never felt unsafe or at risk during any experience of this trip. The places we visited were a mix of famous tourist spots along with places that made us feel engulfed into the Ghanaian culture. If you are traveling to Ghana, it is imperative that you work with this group to ensure an amazing experience. Biney knew local spots in each of the three large cities we visited and walked us through markets to help us find exactly what we were wanting to purchase. He taught us how to bargain and be respectful with the local people, in addition to teaching us every bit of culture behind each place we visited. Ghana now feels like home!
We came as a group of 20 students who were studying culture and health in Africa. The tour group was incredible, from the driver, the assistant, and especially the tour guide, Biney. We were able to experience a multitude of activities in Ghana and had the chance to interact with the residents hand on. A special thanks should be given to Biney, who could not have done a better job at allowing us students to experience everything there is to experience in Ghana! We stayed in Ghana for one month and half of our trip would not have been possible without the help and hard work of Biney. Thank you to the tour group for allowing us to fully indulge ourselves in the culture.
I travelled with my mother in law who is an older lady with back issues and a little unsteady on her feet. We signed up for the Capecoast day trip tour which included Kakum, Elmina and the Capecoast castles. Our main guide was Nana Yaw and also accompanying us was the driver, Sam. I was worried my mother in law will have to sit out on the famous canopy walk because of the terrain and her health issues. But with Nana Yaw’s gentle encouragement, patience and the support of a strong arm she went on the canopy walk which was the highlight for her. I was very happy to be able to have that memory of that for her. Nana Yaw was also, very attentive to our needs. He gave us fair warning regarding tactics employed by vendors outside the tour grounds. He, also, introduced us to the most knowledgeable guides along our trip who educated us on history and they were able to answer questions we had. It was a wonderful trip. I am very happy I chose this service. Nana Yaw helped me introduce my mother in law to my beautiful motherland and for that I am forever grateful.
We had a great tour in the Votla region with Emmanuel and David. With our 3 kids, it was great to go at our pace, but also to be able to be recommended food to taste, and hear a little bit more about Ghana history. The guide was relax and helped us enjoy the activities throughout the 2 days.
Words cannot even begin to express our gratitude to Nana Yaw (Aka Biney). We toured with him for 4 days exploring Accra, the Cape Coast and Kumasi region. Our experience was amazing and he literally is the BEST TOUR GUIDE EVER!!! We learned so much from him and felt safe and comfortable from the very first moment we met. If you plan to travel to Ghana or West Africa region please choose him to guide your travel adventure. You will learn and grow in ways that you never imagined. He goes above and beyond to ensure that you are enjoying yourself and experiencing as much as humanly possible. You will not regret it!! Thank you Nana Yaw (Biney)!
We spent a week touring with Blemawe Xpo Tours exploring Ghana, Togo, and Benin. I'm usually not an organized tour person, but this was an amazing experience that can not be captured in words. The entire week felt like I was traveling with old friends exploring culture and rituals. I would definitely recommend as a guide for West Africa!
I am still floating from our wonderful tour with Blemawe Xpo Tours! Our tour began by visiting Assin Manso, The Cape Coast Slave Castle and the Canopy Walk in Kakum Park. In order to really comprehend the impact of the Slave Castle I would highly recommend visiting Assin prior to Cape Coast. There is a deep history that lives there that is difficult to explain. Nana Yaw organized a perfect tour for us with another amazing Guide, Bright and our driver David. We traveled thru Ghana learning more about Ghanaian traditional beading, hung out with cute little monkeys, traveled thru Togoville, visited beautiful Waterfalls, drove thru small towns and saw behind the beautiful veil of West Africa. One of our highlights was being able to attend the Voodoo Festival in Benin. It was lovely to cast stereotypes of what we had heard about Voodoo and experience it for ourselves. Seeing the sacred traditions up close and personal altered my views and allowed me to see things in a more expanded way. Nana Yaw and our other tour guide Bright invited us into their close friend's and family's homes and we were able to have dinner and learn more about West African family life as well as learn more about Voodoo...all the while eating traditional fresh meals....and when I say Fresh...I mean FRESH. You don't have to worry about any HMO's or unhealthy meat in Benin, Togo or Ghana! Another one of our highlights was being able to see the Village of Ganvie. Ganvie is a water village in Benin created in the 1700's. It has a population of about 40,000! The people do everything in this village. They have hospitals, Schools, hotels etc. It was mind blowing to experience. Nana Yaw put together everything including booking our hotels. We just had to show up ready to explore, learn and have a good time. Bright, David and Nana were great travel companions. THey answered every question we had and we even went out dancing in Benin one night. We were 2 women traveling with 3 men and we never felt anything but safe with these guys. So grateful our paths crossed. I would recommend them to anyone. After leaving Ghana, Togo and Benin we went on to travel to thru Africa for 3 more weeks and this was still our highlight. Thank you for a life altering journey thru West Africa! We can't wait to come back!
THE BEST TOUR GUIDE EVER! Ghana would not have been the same without Oscar (tour guide) and the wonder team of drivers and organizers. You can't see all of Ghana without a tour guide, in my opinion. It was easy to book and customize an experience with this company. If you book through this company please request him and I promise you won't regret it. He went above and belong to make sure me and Mom had a great trip. Supplying us water, answering all our questions, working with the hotel staff. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and it truly was because of my time with Oscar. Also, if you want somebody who really understands the history and culture of Ghana - Oscar is the one.
I used this agency to travel from Lomé to Accra and then a city tour of Accra. Every agency told me I needed a visa in advance (US passport) to travel to Ghana which given the circumstances at the time was impossible. This agency made it possible and I got a Visa On Arrival within 30 minutes on the Togo-Ghana border. If you want to bypass the annoying visa policy I suggest you go through them. They were also very attentive to my needs and wonderfully kind people. Great tour!
Out of the 11 countries I've ventured to, Ghana has been one of my best trips thus far!!! Nana Yaw gave us (3 international teacher friends) a personalize itinerary with EVERYTHING we asked to see/explore while in Ghana at an amazing price... we visited the Kwame National Monument, the WEB Dubois Center, Black Star Square.... enjoyed a traditional Ghanainan cooking lesson, went to Church for Christmas with locals, learned how to play the drums and a few African dance moves!! We shed tears at the Cape Coast Slave Castles, visited beautiful beaches, walked across the Canopy Walk at Kakum Park, and hiked to see the tallest Waterfalls in West Africa!! We got to see local African villages, and nice parts of town, and best of all we shopped until we dropped!! 😍 Did I mention that our guides photography skills are also on point!!! Honestly, We had a beyond amazing time with our guide and driver and had some of the best cuisines Ghana has to offer!!! I don't intend to go back to many places I travel just because there is so much world to see, but thanks to you I will be seeing Ghana again!!! Well done!! Customer and Friend for Life!! Chels
Our guides, Nana Yaw and Emmanuel, lead our large family group (14 of us!) through well curated, thoughtful and fascinating tours of Kumasi, Cape Coast,Jamestown and surrounding areas in "Old Accra". They kept a great sense of humor, spirit of adventure and were professional and courteous. They thought of fun activities, like hikes through Bobiri Butterfly Sanctuary and hands on weaving, cooking, batik classes and chocolate tasting for our small children. They were warm and delightful with our many kids (aged 3-12), making the experience all the more wonderful for our little ones. They are perfect guides for learning about and experiencing Ghana and we can't recommend them enough.
We visited four major places in Kumasi: The Cultural Center, Nana Prempeh II Museum, Central Market (Kejetia), and Manhyia Palace (the home of the Asantehene). Nana Yaw who was the lead guide was extremely patient and understandable and very sociable. I love the fact that he was always on-time for pick ups. Thanks Nana, Good Job.
Our guide Nana Yaw was amazing and made our stay in Ghana unforgettable he is kind, honest, passionate and responsible he made our short time there memorable. He knows the culture and history for his country very well. I will recommend anyone who want to visit Ghana. Thank you Blemawe Xpo
