Full Day Accra Safari Boat Cruise With Lunch - Private Experience

Toufic is one of the best tour guides that I have had the pleasure of meeting. On the day of the tour it was my birthday and I specifically wanted to have an awesome experience for this milestone birthday. Toufic made that possible with his personal and attentive care in ensuring that the tour was not only spectacular but a personable experience. From the beginning, communication was easy. Upon meetup, he was very professional. His personality matched with my group. In addition, he made a special day more extraordinary with his presence. I will forever remember that day. We went to the Shai Reserves. I'm not going to forget Diamond the baby ostrich. We went rock climbing and I think I saw some antelopes. Toufic took great pictures of us without us even asking and he's a great photographer. The finale was the River tour on the Volta Lake. He is well-rounded, well-informed, has a fantastic personality and gave us a lot of information not only about the tour but also about the culture of Ghana. We had a great lunch on the boat. Grill fish. We sang, laughed, and played music. Yes, via Bluetooth as I came with my birthday music. Basically, we had a party on the boat. He made a video of me and celebrating with him was like being with a good friend. I couldn't have asked for anything better. He took great care of us. Driving can be an experience in Accra. However, he's an excellent driver. I didn't even feel the bumps. I went to sleep on the road. He kept us on point, and on schedule. I'm not just saying these things but Toufic is on point with everything. We enjoyed his presence and I would definitely say, if you are looking for a tour in which your objective is to have the ultimate tour experience, a very special and a personal encounter - Toufic is your guy! Trust me, you will not regret using his services. I have taken a number of tours in different countries and different cities all over the world. Next time I come to Ghana, I'm going to do another tour with him.

This was a great excursion - I am a travel planner and had a group of 6 go out. The experiences were life changing!!! They experience both land and water activities on this excursion all in one day. You see the second largest man made lake in the world and even visited a game reserve. Understood more about the culture!

Toufic was an incredible tour guide when my father and I stopped in Tema with our cruise. We saw the city and nature through a local’s eyes and Toufic shared many stories with us. Also the boat we were on was very clean and we got to see the dam that provides the majority of the power to the city, and lots of local wildlife and villages. It was truly an eye opening experience and I could not have asked for a better guide. I feel really lucky we ended up choosing this tour while we were here, it’s a day I’ll truly never forget.

Our guides were amazing and our group had fun while learning about Ghana's rich history. Out guide took us to place where we had an amazing lunch. This tour will not be disappoint.

Kobe are tour guide was AMAZING! He was professional, personable and had a great sense of humor. He made the tour incredible! The baboons at Shai Hills were adorable. We thought the climb up the hill would be challenging but Kobe made sure we made it. It was worth it to see that incredible view. The lunch at Afrikiko Resort on the river was delicious, especially the Red-Red. The boat cruise was a perfect way to end the day.

Amara was an excellent guide. He went above and beyond to help with my disabled son through out the day. He was on time, friendly, informative, and even laughed with us :-). Safari was fun and nice short hike. Great experience. Boat ride could have been longer. Only disappointing part was not being able to go to the bridge. Bummer :-/. Thank you ☺️

The view was worth going up the rock! Our guide was very knowledgeable. The boat ride was relaxing. The lunch w a s great very tasty.

We had the most delightful day in Ghana! We chose a private tour to better utilize the time in our day as we were on a cruise and only in port a few hours. We were promptly picked up at the cruise ship and driven to a game reserve where we saw Zebra, Ostrich, monkeys, Antelope and birds. Chose to take a little like where the view was breathtaking! After the game reserve we drove to a lively resort on the lake and had lunch and a boat ride. Unfortunately, a storm cut our time short but we were able to make it back to the ship with time to spare. Toufic was excellent as a driver and a guide. He made our day so much fun! This experience was amazing from start to finish. Toufic, our guide is friendly and fun. He and his driver arrived on time and the vehicle was comfortable. Every detail was top notch including the food, service, other tours. Toufic went above and beyond to make our day exceptional. You are in good hands with him and his crew! We hope to return and do another tour again.

This was such a fun day. Kobe picked us up at our hotel in Accra, and we had a jam-packed day. Our first stop was the Shai Hills Animal Reserve, where we saw zebra, an ostrich, and a few kobs. We then toured the museum and got an idea of the different types of animals at the sanctuary. Next came the rock climbing, for which I was unprepared. Kobe and the team were helpful, and helped me navigate the rocks, and also snapped some great pics of our family. Next came a delicious lunch and boat ride on Lake Volta, which was something I’d done during my first visit in 2020, and knew I had to revisit with my family. All in all, we had a wonderful time, and I highly recommend Ghana Must Go and Kobe.

This tour was excellent! Our guide Amarah was very informative, funny and helpful. He picked us up from our hotel and got us to every destination on time. The Shia hills reserve was beautiful and included a short and adventurous climb to the top of a hill for an amazing view. After that, we went to Lake Volta for a cruise and lunch. It was a beautiful day in the region and we could not have madę a better choice than this. Thank you, Ghana Must Go Tours!

Kobe was a wonderful guide. He took us to see Shai Hills and the Volta lake and told us lots of interesting facts along the way. The park was beautiful and quiet, not a lot of other tourists. Great backdrop for photos! The lake was gorgeous. Unfortunately our boat trip was cut short due to heavy rain and thunderstorm, but we still had a fantastic experience dancing to African music in the rain on the boat. Highly recommend!

Kobe was an amazing tour guide. He helped me accomplish things on this trip that i couldn’t imagined i would do. He guided me up the mountain til the top. And helped me celebrate my birthday right. He treated me like a sister not a tourist and for that i’m eternally grateful for him.

This was a super fun day trip I took during a curated 10-day stay. Climbing rocks, seeing animals and impeccable views, and topping it off with a drink on the water before having lunch. During that lunch, the red red was established as my favorite Ghanaian meal. Toufic is great, and I wish I had time to do some of the other experiences he and his team provide. I will be back!

As a solo traveller it is always important to feel safe while having lots of fun and that’s how I felt on the trip from beginning to end. The safari was so much fun and a lovely adventure and great way to finish up on a boat ride on the Volta lake!

This was the perfect way to spend the last day before a night flight. A light hike of Shai Hills and a relaxing boat ride. Also, the guide was very friendly!

The views from the Shai reserve were amazing. Make sure to wear appropriate shoes because there is climbing involved. Toufic was so personable the entire day and made our experience that much better. The lakeside view for lunch was so serene and we loved that Toufic sat down and broke bread with us. The boat ride was a beautiful ending to the day. A perfect day spent exploring the beauty that is Ghana.

Best Safari guide in Ghana. In my opinion. He is so professional and knowledgeable of the safari and surrounding area. Nice air conditioned vehicle & perfect lunch spot. Food was amazing. I had redred by his recommendation and was amazing 10out of 10 stars

Toufic was a great tour host and took care of everything. We didn't get to see the Antilopes but the National Park was beautiful. The lunch by the lake was the best meal i had in Ghana (I had the chicken Red Red which was Toufic's suggestion). The lunch venue was very nice and so was the bat ride.

Toufic and Amara were amazing tour guides! We had a ball on the boat cruise and the restaurant he took us to was so delicious! Definitely recommend

Amara was an amazing tour guide! He took really great care of us and was very gentle and patient. My friend has a slight mobility issue from a recent accident and he did everything to help her concur the rock climbing. Overall great tour!

The locations were okay, not bad, however, didn’t get to do much there. We realized it is a disgustingly expensive trip after the tour guide hadn’t let us do anything and felt like we paid a whole lot of money for nothing as if we had no where to spend our money. Most importantly, the tour guide is really misleading, rushing and when it comes to lunch though everything is included in the price (we paid insanely huge amount of 12,000 cedi for this trip) and we hardly ordered anything for the amount we paid (didn’t let us order a 100 cedi meal) and wants to pay us for the desserts which definitely doesn’t cost much at all (150 cedi) and we certainly see no real justification for our money. The Shai Hills park was partially closed due to the weather, so we couldn’t do much there. We saw 3 zebras, an ostrich and some monkeys, but that’s all. We haven’t been warned about this. The driver who supposed to be our tour guide didn’t tell us about the area, so we haven’t had any chance to get information about the places where we went.

Excellent experience with Toufic. The tour was organised incredibly well, I saw all of what I wanted to. The Shai hills hike was great, plenty of rock climbing with amazing sights. Lunch on a boat was also great, Lake Volta is very picturesque, the food I ate was an authentic Ghanaian dish made at a beautiful resort with amazing views of the lake. The speed boat was nice as well. After lunch we travelled to see how cedi beads are made and was allowed to purchase some from the gift shop. Overall really good experience, I highly recommend Toufic, very humorous and knowledgeable guide.
