My group and I had the most amazing experience with Hausa Tours during our week long stay in Ghana. Our travel agent and Fuseini crafted a well rounded itinerary that allowed time to rest as well as flexibility/options based on what we wanted to do each day. Fuseini’s team was also amazing! We had a dedicated driver the entire trip that got us back and forth safely each day (thank you Bernard!). We also had a dedicated photographer/videographer the entire trip (pictures & videos sent daily) so that we could be in the moment every step of the way (thank you Emma!). Fuseini himself was soooo knowledgeable and shared as much as we could ask of him. The customer service was on point every step of the way. We were immersed in the community and the culture from economic level. I would definitely recommend Hausa Tours to anyone traveling to Ghana or the other countries that they cover. I will definitely be booking them again on my next trip to Africa!

It was the BEST most relaxing vacation we have ever experienced. I explained that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary and my retirement and OMG!!! They rolled out the red carpet. My husband and I had a wonderful time. Thank you Hause Tours!
Even though not my first time in Africa, it was my first time in Ghana. Here to help celebrate my niece's 60th birthday. This was a 11 day/10 night private tour for us. We were excited leading up to it. But wow were we excited every day of the tour. We give a lot of credit to our tour guide, Modesta Sunfra, and our excellent drivers, Michael and Bennett. This team was so pleasant, very attentive to us, very knowledgeable, honoring our every request even things that came up on the spur of the moment when traveling from city to city. We experienced a lot of culture and history some with much sadden learning of the slavery period. Then much happiness too learning the bead making process, kente cloth msking and black ink making/stamping, naming ceremony and national park rain forest trail spending time in several museums. One major highlight was attending a Christian church there in Ghana's native language, visiting an orphan and donating school supplies, learning an African dance and a night out on the town jazz lounge in Accra in addition to much shopping, great accommodations and restaurants meals. I can't speak highly enough about our tour guide, Modesta, with us from time we arrived at Accra airport until we left ll days later making sure we were safe and sure always with a genuine smile, patience and caring spirit capturing every experience for us and any extra pictures we wanted. A great first trip/experience!!! My only concern is the horrible road conditions traveling from town to town for which Hasa Tours are not responsible.
Wow!! Trying to put into words what this Ghana Pilgrimage meant to me. This journey was made possible through the connection and organization of HAUSA TOURS! Ghana’s #1 tour company and will be the only team I trust and recommend when visiting the beautiful country of Ghana 🇬🇭 and West Africa! My experience in Ghana was much more than a trip. It was a ‘Welcome Home’ experience of a lifetime that we will carry in our hearts forever. Nawaru Fuseini and team with Hausa Tours did an exceptional job taking care of us. They were extremely professional, culturally knowledgeable and welcoming from the beginning. From the moment we stepped off the plane, to the moment we departed, we felt safe & cared for, like we were family. We traveled with a group of 26 and every experience felt curated and tailored just for us. Our stay was jammed packed and filled with spiritual and cultural structured experiences allowing us to truly engage in the communities and villages visited. Activities included cultural site visits, arts & crafts markets, culinarily experiences, church & school visit and an immersive trip to Easterern Region. This team knows how to have fun!! We laughed, cried, danced, sang, laughed some more and slept very little😆. As any journey goes, everything does not always go as expected. This is when you are able to truly see the character and professionalism of the company you are using. In those times, Regina and the Hausa Tours team made sure those in need received VIP care throughout tour their care. This was truly above and beyond, and totally unexpected..and the whole time with nothing but prayers, smiles, love and professionalism from the team. You just don’t get this kind of service from any tour company. They are SPECIAL and servants of God. I’ve traveled quite a bit and have never experienced a tour company that worked within their individual gifts like Fuseini, Regina, JahSolo, Kofi, Modesta, Richard and team! Fuseini has brought together a PHENOMENAL team of caring, compassionate, funny, energetic, and patient people! As the time drew near for us to say our farewells, there were genuine tears shed, because we had become family! We bonded day one; well before the traditional Ghanaian naming ceremony! Before the plane lifted up on departure day, I already knew I'm planning to return! I LOVE YOU ALL @HAUSA TOURS. Special thanks @Pastor Williams for your guidance, patience and love in bringing us all together for this special Pilgrimage journey to Ghana 🇬🇭!
I had an outstanding experience touring Ghana, Togo and Benin with Hausa Tours from October 28 through November 12, 2025. The customer service and attention to detail were exceptional in every way. Each member of the team felt like family. The sites we visited all held great cultural and historic significance for me and others on the trip. The tour guides at each stop were very knowledgeable and informative. I especially enjoyed Mr. Fuseini Nawaru's traditional stories, sharing of cultural norms and practices, and pointing out and sharing about sites along the way as we traveled by bus. Each hotel we stayed in was well-appointed and beautiful. The food was delicious and nourishing. I was able to enjoy a wide variety of local foods on my mostly vegan diet. I experienced a minor medical emergency while in Ghana, and the Hausa Tours team made sure I got great care. I deeply appreciated that a team member was with me every step of the way. I have to say again that the customer focus and attention to every possible detail far exceeded my hopes and expectations. I can't imagine traveling in Africa with any other tour company. I highly recommend Hausa Tours for anyone looking to receive a deep culturally significant travel experience in Ghana and in the other African countries Hausa Tours leads travel in. I completely understand why Fuseini Nawaru of Hausa Tours won Eastern Region Tour Guide of the year 2 years in a row! Thank you Fuseini and team!
Fuseini and his group were simply incredibly. They were professional, caring, attentive, and responsive to every detail no matter how large or small, and made sure our experience was fun and one we won't soon forget. They definitely over delivered and surpassed all of our expectations. Besides the tours, history lessons, and cultural stories, Fuseini and his team helped with food choices, shopping, transportation, and luggage. I highly recommend Hausa Tours without hesitation or reservation.
Fuseini and staff were amazing. I loved their enthusiasm and professionalism. Fuseini has a vast knowledge of history, culture, current events, food etc. He shares in a pleasant warm and approachable manner with expert management of logistics. His fables and stories were very entertaining. The entire Hausa staff was outstanding with attention to detail and the needs of their guests. I highly recommend Hausa Tours .

I had a wonderful time on my tour with Hausa Tours! They are a very professional company and did an excellent job in showing us around the country and translating for us when necessary. Being from Ghana, they have a very extensive knowledge of the culture and made sure that we visited and supported Ghana owned businesses and local communities. I highly recommend them!!
Exuberant! A journey to my motherland, Accra Africa🤗🙌🏾🫶🏽🇬🇭 I have never had an experience as this. Thank you Ghana Bound Today & Hausa Tours💜 U both were everything and more than I expected. Your professionalism, enthusiasm, knowledge , persistence & commitment to excellence and caring was over & beyond my expectations. This has been one of the highlights of my life and I thank you & all of the people that were part of my tour. You didn’t just stop there, but you provided photos of all the beautiful memories we made. I will forever be grateful. May the God of the universe continue to bless your efforts and connecting people to The truth of our existence. Our ancestors are pleased, & so am I. I would recommend everyone to take this journey and of course, take this journey through Hausa Tours & Ghana Bound Today!
So Grateful to have experienced Ghana through the eyes of these two Judi Dunn of GhannaBoundToday and Fuseini of Hausa tours. They put together an educational and immersive experience. Both educators with an eye for authenticity. I highly recommend tours like this for people who love to learn. This is “NOT” a tour for people who think highly of themselves as Americans. This a journey to the land of all origins and a previous slave trade demarcation. Ghana’s connection to the people of color in the Americas and the Caribbean is being taught here. We have to connect to Africa in the same way, by linking the two histories. “I am not African because I was born in Africa, but because Africa was born in me.” Kwame Nkrumah
Amazing trip, thoroughly enjoyed! Trip was a full immersion into the Ghana culture and community. Enjoyed every place that we traveled and the staff from Hausa Tours were the absolute BEST. Highly recommend and promise it will exceed your expectations.
Loving hospitality. Felt like Family. Will use them again and again an again. Very educated and knowledgeable staff. MORE THAN A TOUR GUIDE.
The places with historical significance were the best, Enjoyed village and participating in the naming ceremony. Other places such as Ashanti Palace, Ancestral River Park and Slave castles were especially moving, Enjoyed the beads production and the Coconut farm. The subject matter guides at each location were knowledgeable and very enthusiastic. The tour team was professional and personable. They were helpful w request and was patient when responding to questions. Highly recommend
Our host, Fueseini, was excellent. He made sure we saw as much of Ghana as possible. He was extremely hospitable and accommodating to the needs of the group. He cared about us having a fabulous experience and for our well being!
We did a full private tour of Accra, Kakum National Park, Elmina Castle inclusive of naming ceremony (where the whole village participated) and Cape Coast Castle with Hausa Tours. From soup to nuts they took impeccable care of our group ensuring we had the best educational, cultural and fun experience. To get to various locations we were provided with a clean updated air conditioned bus, with Fuseni and his team as our tour guides. Fuseni included funny stories and fun facts about Ghana, its people and rich culture during the tour. I highly recommend Hausa tours for your first time Ghana experience!
Hausa Tours made my first trip to Ghana absolutely amazing! The professionalism, customer service, knowledge and history that was provided was unmatched!! I would recommend this tour company to anyone exploring Ghana as I felt safe and comfortable. Hausa tours were always on time and met all of our needs for a group of 30. I want to personally thank Fuseini once again for making our trip magical and I can’t wait to return. We explored museums, markets, Kalum national park, Cape coast, Elmina castle, beach resorts, just to name a few. We also were provided a VIP bus which was large, comfortable and always clean! I want to thank the whole Hausa team as I believe they are now my friends!! Until we meet again! Best Regards, Renee Samuels
From Airport pickup to Airport drop-off, the Hausa Tours crew was phenomenal! Transportation to all tours and activities was prompt and comfortable. Fuseini was extremely engaging and entertaining for the adults and children alike! He provided a wealth of information about all things Ghana and was an invaluable resource during our visit to the Motherland.
I really enjoyed my trip with Hausa tours. It was just perfect! The crew were soooo nice. The organization was on point. Highly recommend it! Thanks again :)
Most memborable experience. Will recommend Hausa Tours without any reservations to anyone interested in visitng Ghana
What an AWESOME and AMAZING trip that Hausa Tours facilitated!!! Our guides, Fuseini, Regina, Patrick and all those who made this trip so memorable. From the resort accommodations to the Slave Dungeons to the various museums visited, to the rope bridges, to the awe inspiring naming ceremony, etc. everything was wonderful. This trip was informative and life changing for me in so many ways. Thank you Hausa Tours for the great job you and your team did to insure we had a great journey taking in Ghana. I have been sharing my experience with everyone I encounter and talk to about the service that Hausa Tours provided. If anyone is interested in traveling to Ghana I urge them to seriously consider utilizing Hausa Tours as they well insure a trip to remember. To Fuseini and his team THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for all that you did to make my trip to Ghana so wonderful.
Just returned from the most AMAZING ADVENTURE in Ghana, Africa. Thanks to the entire Hausa Tours team of very knowledgeable host, guides, photographers, videographers, hand holding and uplifting personal service I received an exceptional experience of everything Ghana has to offer. From the moment I stepped foot on African land I was greeted by friendly, beautiful, and welcoming African people. I was captivated by the alluring and breathtaking landscape (Wli Waterfalls, Kakum National Park, Volta River). The hustle and bustle of city life in Accra & Kumasi, was reminiscent of most American big cities (i.e., museums, high rise buildings, lots of people, traffic, restaurants, malls, etc.) yet I felt very safe as crime is almost nonexistent in Ghana. The visit/tours to the smaller Asante Region villages, (especially the Ntunkumo Village)was culturally enlightening, enriching & a rewarding experience. I was amongst “my people”; I was literally reborn and adopted by a local village family and given a new name… “Yaa Afra“. The “extra” personal tours Hausa Tours threw in for my group (dance lessons, cooking lessons, gold factory and chocolate factory) were awesome and much appreciated. While the history of Ghana and the entire west coast of Africa (slave trade) is disturbing and heartbreaking it is OUR HISTORY and should NEVER be forgotten. The museums (WEB DuBoise home, Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, Ancestral Wall, Manhyia Palace, Cape Coast Castle, Elmina Castle) tours guides were very intelligent, passionate and knowledgeable. Yes, the tours of the slave dungeons was upsetting and emotionally draining, I felt empowered by the strength, courage, resilience, faith of my African ancestors to endure the unimaginable and unbelievable inhumane treatment. I am forever educationally enriched and beyond grateful by the history as accurately told by my African people. THANK YOU Fuseini Nawaru his beautiful wife Regina Aku and the entire staff for a life changing, rewarding and memorial experience. AGOO…. I will be back.
Five stars are not enough. Fuseini and his staff made Ghana a life changing experience. His knowledge of the people, history, culture, and lore is unmatched. Do not experience Ghana with anyone except Hausa Tours.
This isn't just a recommendation to book with Hausa Tours, it's a love letter to them! (And a long one so maybe grab a snack). I could not have asked for (or found if I had) a better experience for my first trip (but not last) to the motherland. I had already prepared as much as I could for what I knew would be transformative. I knew I was going to visit ancestral sites and directly experience Ghanaian culture. But aww man. From the time I landed until the time I re-boarded to return, everything was seamless thanks to Fusseini, Regina, and their team. Efficiency is great but the personal touch they put on everything made the trip special--Regina's hugs are life-giving; Fusseini's Anansi stories and cultural commentary are humorous and profound; Patrick's attentive tenderness is unmatched. Our photographers were hiking hand holders and market bag holders too! We all marveled at the skill of our drivers. It speaks volumes to be able to curate an entire team of good folks. The trip was impressively thorough--our days were long and packed with adventures both scheduled and sometimes not but always tailored to the needs of the group. I liked how the sequence and balance of excursions too; how we eased into the heavier stuff like the tours of Elmina and Cape Coast and decompressed with the dance and cooking lessons. Oh, and speaking of needs, cold water and fresh juice--ask for the juice; it's delicious--were always on offer. Hausa Tours owes me nothing. I love them and I loved the experience so much that I was plotting my return while still in the country! So much gratitude for a beautiful experience with beautiful people.
Hausa Tours is AWESOME! Everyone in the company was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. My husband and I sponsored a trip from the United States. We had 15 people in our party. Hausa Tours took us on an educational and spiritual journey. I highly recommend them. Your search for a tour company is over. Book them today!
What a phenomenal experience! Couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide or company to trust navigating us through the beauty of Ghana. Thank you Hausa Tours. Unforgettable and transformative! Truly a blessing! ~ Valaurie Lee
Hausa Tours!!! OMG, where do I start? Provided a professional photographer to capture all the moments (Mike), even a professional tailor (Bryt) who in a clutch helped me with my all white suit. I mean that had everything covered!! They exceeded all expectations. The amount of care and consideration given to us as a group of young and elder adults. Every town we traveled through was expressed with historical context and its origin by our tour guide Nana. We ate well EVERYDAY and slept good every night. Hausa tours were very hands on with whatever we needed. Check in and out of hotels were seem less, where to shop for authentic souvenirs was especially important and we appreciated that. The bus, was new updated and cleaned EVERYDAY. I can go on and on with how exceptional Hausa Tours were on this trip. Just do yourselves a good service and book with Hausa Tours, I PROMISE they will over deliver! They certainly did for us. Almost forgot Kofi, he had our backs the entire tour as well as lead us in songs on the bus. What a wonderful heartfelt experience I will forever cherish.
Our trip to Ghana was epic. Hausa Tours provided a exciting itinerary that gave us an authentic Ghanaian experience. The trip was educational, empowering and a source of healing. I highly suggest using them for your Ghana visit.
The trip was more of a historical and cultural journey into black experience / awareness . Unraveling many questions and mysteries not told within my American education . A true life changing experience that I will never forget something I must share with my family and friends . I am a Raving Fan of this tour and this country .
Hausa tours did a phenomenal job curating an EXPERIENCE for our trip to Ghana!! They checked in with us before the trip several times to answer any questions and ensure we were prepared for our visit. Our days in Ghana were filled with education about our ancestors, opportunities to connect with the people of Ghana, amazing shopping and so much more. Everything was seamless for us. Hotel check-in was always quick and easy. The day’s activities were planned thoughtfully with no detail missed. The Hausa team is amazing! They will become your family in Ghana. Hausa tours provided me with an experience I’ll never forget!!
This was one of the BEST vacations of my life. All my trip requirements were met. I learned about the history and culture; had luxury accommodations; shopping; periods of relaxation on the beach or pool side; spent quality time with my adopted family; and had FUN!!! Covid protocols were also followed. Thank you Fuseini! I look forward to returning in 2023.
I really like the service of Hausa Tours led by Mr Fuseini and team. I really learnt a lot on this trip and I had fun.
Well......I've a long review to write but space won't permit me to write about it. Hausa Tours led by Mr. Fuseini and his team were apt about their duties and also made sure I had a lasting experience in Ho. I really explored without leaving any stone unturned. It lives rent free in my head.
We toured Wli Waterfalls, Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary and Mount Afadja (Afadjato) with Hausa Tours and it was very cost effective and affordable. I personally enjoyed the trip and loved the level of professionalism and respect that was shown us.
The entire trip, from beginning to end, was superb. Communication was seamless, the attentiveness of all staff members was exceptional and the itinerary was amazing. Our tour guide, Fuseini, was so amazing. He made sure that we remained safe and took very good care of us. Fuseini went above and beyond for the entire group. Sammy was an amazing driver and kept us safe at all times. This tour company had excellent service and I would most definitely recommend them and work with them again!!! I would 110% recommend them to anyone hoping the experience Ghana in an authentic and enjoyable manner.
We took an amazing 14 day tour with Housa tours through 4 regions in Ghana, as well as visited Togo and Benin. Our trip was well planned, we stayed in excellent hotels, we had a bus at our disposal and saw and met the real Ghanaian people. We went to villages, met with kings and chiefs and had a truly memorable adventure. I highly recommend their tour company. If you want to have a unique African experience, call them!
