We enjoyed our Ghana adventure. Seeing the Ashanti and Volta region was memorable. Visiting Cape Coast was impact full. Our guide JoJo was very accommodating.

We traveled with Timeh Tours in June 2025 and had a wonderful time. We traveled for 9 days and visited 4 cities across Ghana. Jojo, our driver and guide was very prompt with airport pick up and met us at our hotel on time each morning. Each day was full was culturally enriching activities and I left feeling like I learned about about Ghana, its people, history, and culture. I would highly recommend the cultural experience tour with Timeh Tours if you’re traveling to Ghana!
It's actually taken me a while to write this review because I don't know if I can convey just how much I loved this trip and working with Timeh Tours. It was unbelievable and life-changing- the only regret I have is that I didn't invite more people to come with me! I had planned a trip with a different, US-based tour company two years ago, and a week before the trip they cancelled. I had to scramble and reached out to Timeh Tours. They immediately got back to me (even with the time difference!) and had created a custom trip for us. The team communicated with me every step of the way, and even gave me different hotel options (I'm a little boujee LOL). The itinerary had even MORE than the first trip we planned and cost less. Jojo was our tour guide and he was AMAZING. Instantly treated us like family, was knowledgable, friendly, and really catered to us. Can I just say how awesome it was to have a private guide AND a private driver? We were able to take our time and really enjoy all Timeh Tours had planned. The trip was the perfect mix of history, culture, and more. While we spent time seeing and understanding the devastation of the slave trade and colonization, we also got to experience the rich, unique Ghanian culture and heritage. I learned so much and am going to hold these lessons in my heart for the rest of my life. I really cannot express just how much I appreciate and recommend Timeh Tours!
When we met our tour guide, Timothy Dadgie at the airport in Accra, our tour began immediately and continued until he returned us to the airport for our departure home on Oct, 11th. He always made us feel right at home, accommodating us always with a smile. His knowledge of the amazing/powerful historical sites, local activities such as shopping and bartering at the markets, selection of local meals and enjoying some night life was “spot on”!! And I can’t forget the beautiful beach!! I am so very fortunate to have had this opportunity to visit/tour “HOME” and the memory is embedded in my mind, heart and soul forever. Thank you Timeh Tours and Timothy D. for my opportunity if “Coming Home”!! P.S. I’ll be back!
Great team I will recommend highly to all tourists visiting Ghana. They take care of you fully just be clear on what you want and watch them do magic with your request. This team made my tour so easy to plan and I will surely use them again.
If you want to go on a trip to Ghana, simply contact this team and they will sort you out. They made sure we had great accommodations for our budget, a really sweet ride with blasting AC(so much needed in the warm weather), and most importantly our guide Jojo who we travelled with made us feel like apart of his country which we appreciated so much. At every area we got the people were happy to see us as soon as they saw Jojo and he mentioned Timeh tours Ghana. This made us feel safe and special.
Ghana was a warm and welcoming place I left a part of me at. It was so beautiful words can’t explain how I truly felt in this special place in the able hands of Timeh tours. Mike Amuzu was my guide for my experience and he did his part to ensure I enjoyed Ghana greatly! I met the family of the founder Eric and we had a great chat and delicious home cooked meal from his mom’s kitchen. The huge mess we had (banku and peanut soup with beef) sat in my tummy till I returned home lol yummy!!!!
My wife booked for a cultural tour to surprise me for our anniversary and it was richly done. We ended up even having some romantic candlelit dinner on the beach to celebrate the day at our beach resort. Adams met us with our driver Ebenezer for our tour . Ebenezer drove well and we always felt safe during our trip in the hands of Adams who knew so much information as we requested for a knowledgeable guide. He was just the person for the job and Eric delivered. You guys are going to be in our hearts forever!
Highlight of review: This trip to Ghana changed my life! Ghana for a long time has been flirting with my mind as I wanted to take the trip for missing out on the Year of Return. I finally took the trip by booking with Timeh Tours Ghana after reading they are a young company with years of experience. Who wouldn’t want to support a young company become the best at what they do? So yes I booked with them and from the initial email to booking and concluding my tour was PROFESSIONALLY done. I got the chance to connect with my African heritage and culture through sites that were picked to ensure I experienced these such as Cape Coast castle, Ashanti Kingdom, traditional villages with beautiful vegetations, Slave Cemetary, Independence Square. I wish I could only do more on my tour but I didn’t have enough time but this tour was more than enough. Thank you for your hard works Timeh Tours Ghana.
The perfect tour doesn’t exist I thought. My friends and I had this amazing 7 days and it was lit!!! We had EVERYTHING from fun times, cultural experiences, history of the country Ghana, and relaxations after tours were great(our favorite was the dinner on the beach at Elmira). Our guide Jojo even created an afrobeat playlist just for us during our travels so we just literally always had a party going. If you are a group looking for flexibility and affordable prices worth every penny then BOOK with Timeh Tours Ghana. They told us memories were guaranteed and YES we are loving them. Thank y’all❤️
My friends and I went on this ecotourism adventure in Ghana and it was smoooooooth. We basically had just 3 emails between Timeh tours and us for us to book with them. They really had great ideas and sites in mind just to suit our needs and for that we were willing to pay. Our guide Mike and driver Jojo were professional in their handling and gave us exactly what Eric promised us through our email conversations. What was an extra sell for us was the fact that even after booking, Eric kept on checking with us if we needed any other services prior to our arrival. Big upssssss Timeh Tours Ghana!
A solo traveller seeking for an affordable trip yet comfortable and Timeh Tours met those needs easily. Thank you for arranging this tour for me with my budget i had as i really needed this cultural and heritage tour crossed off my bucket list.
Ghana is definitely our home away from home. We visited Ghana during the festive season and it looked busy as alot of sites we visited looked full. Our guide Eric was great help and always made sure we had a guide on site who was available just for us. This was particularly nice as when we got to Cape Coast castle we didn't have to join the long queue and this made us feel special with a private tour of the castle. We even had enough time to participate in the door of return ceremony which was so emotional to participate in. We had clean and comfortable hotels, clean and AC vehicle through out the trip across Ghana. This tour company made sure our expectations were met and more. Will definitely recommend 100%. 👍👌
For so many years Ghana has been on my wish list and I finally had the chance to visit!!! It was everything I read about and the answers I got from the team from Timeh Tours was accurate. I travelled with my partner for this most important trip and she’s already planning on our second going to Ghana. Our guide Jojo was incredibly helpful throughout the tour as he gave us well planned itinerary reviews before we set off each day. There was a time we had to make some changes along the journey and the team handled that easily and our tour still flowed as we initially planned! Cape Coast will forever bi a part of us with all the hospitality we enjoyed in Ghana, we would highly recommend visiting and doing that through Timeh Tours Ghana!!
On arrival in Ghana JoJo was waiting for us. He helped us through our covid test and helped claim our luggage's quickly. Our hotel was not too far from the airport, so gave us time to rest and start off with some street food (fried Yam ) with fresh coconut water. The team at Timeh Tours Ghana ensured we submerged ourselves into Ghana as we wanted. Thank you Eric for anwsering all our questions and putting together the road map of our tour. We have memories that we will never forget of Ghana and it's all thanks to the team at Timeh Tours Ghana.
I did a last minute booking with Timeh tours as I had my flight changed and wanted to see around the beautiful Ghana. I lived in Accra for my entire stay in Ghana so after my flight change I decided to move around to see all of Ghana and I think I did with this team on the wheels. It was an easy planning procedure to payment and the tour with my guide Jojo was special. I will forever cherish all the education I had on this tour with the slavery history which was so important to me. My people suffered and to be at the castle to see the history was just too emotional with the Door of return ceremony. Jojo you were amazing! Thank you
I travelled as a single traveler to Ghana for the first time ever and I must admit I felt so safe with the team at Timeh Tours. They took care of me right from the very moment I got out of the arrival hall in Accra. I met my guide Eric who showed up with a clean car and to my surprise it had Aircon in it which he had promised but I read in a few travel blogs companies promise this luxury and don’t see it through so for this I give this company MAXIMUM thumbs up as everything they promised was delivered. I plan on coming to Ghana with my many friends and family who saw all my pictures and videos of my trip. Thank you to you all👏
We travelled during the COVID-19 pandemic and things were naturally expensive but we wanted a breakaway to Africa and our destination was Ghana. We contacted Timeh Tours and their prices for the tour were just great and fitted in well into our budget. Our highlights for the tour were definitely a stop at the Volta River to relax and just chill out, the Cape Coast castle, the Ashanti Kingdom to visit the chiefs palace, slave cemetery was a sad spot which had so much history, craft villages to see Kente and adinkra, and the beautiful beach at our hotel. We didn’t have enough time so for us to visit so many culturally rich villages and cities was a joy. Thank you to the team of Timeh Tours Ghana!!! ❤️
Eric was my guide for the trip - I was given the best of treatment. I tried amazing local foods-Jollof rice, chicken soup, the hotels were clean and served breakfast on all days, the car was well maintained and clean, the guide drove gently and I felt safe, COVID protocols were taken seriously during the tour and my family felt safe. we were picked up from the Kotoka Airport. I visited the Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, Independence Square, Jamestown (Usher fort),
