Nana and his team (Stylish, Mary, Amazing, & Bryte) were knowledgeable, warm, and attentive to every detail, from keeping us comfortable at hotels to explaining local customs and handling special requests. From start to finish, the trip was impeccably organized. The activities and excursions were thoughtfully planned, offering a great mix of cultural exploration, and history. Our visits to the Slave Dungeons and Slave River were quite emotional and unforgettable. Participating in a traditional naming ceremony, observing kente weaving, and watching live drumming and dancing made the culture feel alive. We loved trying the authentic foods like jollof rice, red red fish and enjoyed relaxing with a glass of strawberry drink. Thank you Nana Preston & the Freelancenana team for making our Ghana trip such a memorable experience. Regards Joy & family

Just wrapped up a customized trip through Ghana, Togo and Benin, and I honestly had such a good time. A little bit of everything — history, culture, sightseeing, meeting people, trying local food (some hits and a few surprises 😂) and discovering places I probably wouldn’t have explored on my own. Some of my highlights were Cape Coast and Elmina Castles in Ghana, exploring Lome in Togo and learning more about the history of the Dahomey Kingdom in Benin. So much history in this part of Africa, and so much to take in. A big thank you to Nana, Prof. Michael, Stylish and Prince for taking such good care of us throughout the trip. And of course, Ebony in Benin — we haven’t forgotten you! You all helped make this experience what it was. It’s always the people, the experiences and the little unexpected moments that make a trip special. Three countries down, more memories made, and another reminder of how much there is to discover in Africa! ❤️ We will be back !!
Our guides were exceptional, we had an amazing time visiting Ghana and learning about the transatlantic slave trade and visiting other major sites. The itinerary is very well done and most importantly it really lets you experience the culture and explore the country in the way you couldn’t do on your own. Our guides felt like family by the end of the trip. There is a lot to see and explore. Highly recommend
Visited Ghana with my wife and had the most amazing experience with Freelancenana! 🇬🇭❤️ Nana Preston gave us an experience that went far beyond being tourists. He had us experiencing Ghana like locals — immersing us in the culture, the people, the food, the energy, and everything that makes Ghana so special. Honestly, we had such an incredible time that now we don’t even want to go home! 😂 We came as strangers and are leaving feeling like family. That says everything about the kind of experience Freelancenana creates. What really stood out to us was the patience, safety, genuine care, and excitement throughout the entire experience. The energy was absolutely TOP TIER! 🔥 Thank you, Nana Preston and the entire Freelancenana team, for making our Ghana trip unforgettable. We will definitely be back! 🇬🇭❤️ Thank you, Freelancenana! 🙏🏾
Listen… HOW does someone get you to visit Ghana and somehow make you NOT want to leave?! 😂🇬🇭❤️ My husband and I came to Ghana ready for an adventure, but Nana Preston and Laud of Freelanacenana gave us an experience we will NEVER forget! They didn’t just show us Ghana as tourists… they showed us Ghana like LOCALS! 🙌🏾 From the history and culture to the food, communities, markets, laughter, music, unexpected adventures, and all the good vibes… we had SO much fun! The laughter was nonstop, the energy was unmatched, and the hospitality was next level. 🇬🇭✨ We’ve traveled to MANY, MANY countries, and I can honestly say we have never had a tour guide experience quite like this one. Nana Preston was knowledgeable, funny, patient, trustworthy, and made us feel completely safe and comfortable every step of the way. And Laud? The vibes were ALWAYS right! 😂 So if Ghana is on your travel list, PLEASE do yourself a favor and book Nana Preston! You’re not just getting a tour guide—you’re getting someone who genuinely wants you to experience Ghana, its people, its culture, and its everyday life. ❤️🇬🇭 And apparently… Ghana has put a little spell on us because WE ARE ALREADY COMING BACK! 😂😂 Benin 🇧🇯 + Togo 🇹🇬 adventure already in the works… Now, should we even ask who our tour guide is gonna be?! 👀😂 Thank you, Nana Preston and Laud, for giving us memories we’ll carry forever. You guys are officially FAMILY! ❤️🇬🇭 Medaase! 🇬🇭✨
Exploring Ghana for the first time was truly an unforgettable and amazing experience with Freelancenana Travels! Our experience was made truly phenomenal by this outstanding crew! A heartfelt thank you to our lead guide Nana Preston for being incredibly knowledgeable, warm, passionate and accomodating. Nana and the crew was able to provide truly tailored personalized service to everyone in the group, always catering to our needs. Also, would like to give special recognition to the the crew; Joey, Bella, Michael, Mary, Stylish, all who took fantastic care of us. Highly recommend this team to anyone visiting Ghana. Thank you, Freelancenana Travels for an unforgettable trip of a lifetime!
This was a trip of a lifetime, I was so impressed with the team and the team’s ability to keep up and meet the needs of so many people. The city tours were amazing. If you’re looking for an adventure packed with love , laughter and learning you’re at the place .
I had an amazing time. The Nana Freelance Travel Team were wonderful. They all were a wealth of knowledge. I have been to Ghana a number of times with other teams but Nana Freelance Travel's care, compassion and ability to meet the needs of each of our group members have been unmatched. They truly did a yeoman's job. We have truly become family and I look forward to reuniting with them again. I highly recommend Nana Freelance Travel as the tourism team to use when planning your trip to Ghana. You will not be disappointed.
It's was a great experience. It was fun. It was emotional and at the same time it was cultural. We as Americans take things for granted. But come to Ghana and you'll appreciate what you have.
It's hard to put into words exactly how I felt about this trip, but I will try. I visited Ghana last year in 2025 and used Freelancenana Travels, when we arrived we were strangers, when my group left we were close family. I had no doubt that I would return and use Freelancenana Travels again! The professionalism, the compassion and the all around love EACH ONE on the teams exhibits is outstanding! You can not go wrong choosing Nana Preston and his team Freelancenana Travels.
Every day was jam packed with life changing experiences, from the Last Bath to the Elmina Slave Dungeon to shopping, lunch with a famous Author who signed books for us to everything in between. Our Tour Guides were second to none‼️. Especially my very own personally assigned, Dr. Joey, my New Son. Thank you for the memories, Freelance Nana Travel‼️😎
We had a private tour, and the staff was very accommodating, provided pre-information, and assisted with obtaining visas (which was a mess online). We covered everything on the tour and spent time with both Nana and Bella, whom we got to know well and consider friends. The tours were amazing, from the city tours, the botanical gardens, the slave castles, and my highlight, the naming ceremony! The staff checked on us even on non-tour days just to see if we needed anything, and during the tours, made sure we were comfortable during our travels in and around Ghana. patient and flexible with our needs. Had a fantastic time and would highly recommend them for your trip to Ghana.
We had a GREAT trip with Nana,Mike and the whole team exploring Accra, Kumasi and Elmina in December 2025! It was truly an authentic and personalized experience. When we travel, we prefer to experience a country just as local people would experience their town. This trip was just that. Our accommodations were nice and the tours we did were awesome and personalized. I can't say enough great things about Nana, Mike and their staff. They treated us like royalty and really took care of us the whole way. We saw Ghana as friends in town for a visit as opposed to tourist. I forgot my passport in one of the hotels safe, and Nana went back to the hotel to pick it up for me. He brought it back to the airport so that I could board my flight back to the states We will definitely be back again and we'll use them for our next trip. I can't say enough great things about the company. After 10 days, we left Ghana with new family!
Our experience in Ghana was much more than a family vacation. It was an experience of a lifetime that we will carry in our hearts forever. Nana Preston and his team with Freelancenanatravels did an exceptional job taking care of us. From the moment we stepped off the plane, from the moment we left. We felt safe, cared for, like we were family. We traveled with a family of 13, including my immediate family of my husband and two college age kids. Our stay was jammed packed with adventures and when I tell you this team knows how to have fun!! They had this old lady worn out! We laughed, cried, danced, sang, laughed some more and slept very little😆. As any vacation goes , everything does not go as expected. This is when you are able to truly see the character and professionalism of the company you are using. Several of us caught a stomach bug during the trip. Nana and his team made sure we got VIP care from the local clinic, and handled all the administrative matters while we got well. This was truly above and beyond, and totally unexpected..and the whole time with nothing but smiles, love and professionalism from his team. You just don’t get this kind of service from any tour company. They are SPECIAL and servants of God. We were all feeling well in no time, and even with that bump in the road, somehow we didn’t miss a beat in the activities front! If you are ready for a FUN, enlightening, exhilarating, cultural adventure, be sure to book Freelancenanatravels for your Ghana tour. Warning: the driving is insane in Ghana!🤣
I booked a cultural heritage tour, and traveled to Ghana with my family. I knew that I was traced back to Ghana and the Akan tribe. I knew many facts about our history and the Transatlantic Slave Trade. But….God sent Nana Preston and the entire FreelanceNana Travels team to literally guide me through this trip physically, but more importantly, spiritually. I’m from a large family. We love hard and we discern hearts. We don’t easily allow people into our hearts or family, it must be earned…or ordained by God. This team walked into our hearts on Day 1! What they did for us and me, in particular, was way more than a job, it was a labor of love. People keep asking, “How was your trip? How do you feel?” My response, consistently, has been…”full” This team anticipated my every need, many times without my outward expression! I’m forever grateful to know and love this team, my family. This has been a life-altering experience. I laughed…cried, laughed, cried and laughed some more. I count it all joy! Thank you, for giving me an authentic experience that I will keep tucked away in my heart forever! One love!! What are you waiting for, book today!!! O
Wow!! Trying to put into words what this Ghana Love trip has meant to me, is so terribly difficult. As most of you know I travel quite frequently, in the US and abroad, but I have never had a tour company that worked within their individual gifts like Freelancenana . Nana Preston has brought together a PHENOMENAL team of caring, compassionate, funny, energetic, and patient people! As the time drew near for us to say our goodbyes there were genuine tears shed, because we have become family! We bonded day one, even before receiving our Ghanaian names and assuming our rightful spots back into the family! Now the plane hasn't even lifted up and I'm already planning to return! WE LOVE FREELANCENANA TRAVELS And Nana Preston #BoundlessBlessings SANKOFA
I recently visited Ghana and traveled with the Freelance Nana Travel team. I have traveled to many countries and this trip was hands down the best travel experience I've had! From start to finish, the trip was impeccably organized. The activities and excursions were thoughtfully planned and varied, offering a great mix of cultural exploration, history and nature. Nana and his team were exceptional! Their love and passion for Ghana is palpable. They were not only highly professional, but also incredibly warm, friendly, caring and accommodating. Every step of the way, they ensured that all our needs were met, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout the trip. The attentiveness to our comfort and safety really made a difference and added an extra layer of enjoyment to the experience. In addition to all of this, they are A LOT OF FUN! They made us feel like family. I can't recommend this tour company and the cultural heritage trip enough. If you're looking for an enriching, immersive, and well-organized experience in Ghana, this is the way to go. Thank you Freelancenana Travel & Tours for an outstanding experience that I'll cherish for a lifetime. One love!
This trip to Ghana was nothing short of extraordinary, and much of its success is thanks to Nana and his phenomenal team: Michael (Professor), Onassis, Prince, Stylist, Arrow, …….and the Ladies. Each one of them brought something special to the experience. They were professional, friendly, and incredibly organized, with an accommodating and easygoing demeanor that made every moment enjoyable. Their deep knowledge of Ghana’s history and culture enriched my life’s journey in ways I will never forget. I was invited on the trip by my sister. From the moment we landed, everything was seamless. With a group of over 24 people, every detail was thoughtfully planned, and we were warmly received and catered to. The team worked tirelessly to ensure that everyone was comfortable. They do check-ins to make sure all was well! Cultural Immersion and Entertainment This trip was full of unique experiences that brought Ghana’s vibrant culture to life. we explored a variety of incredible places that showcased the country’s rich history, culture, and natural beauty. We even shopped for fabric to create self designed custom-made attire for the naming ceremony—a truly special and personal touch. Being dressed in our custom-made outfits and experiencing this meaningful tradition was an honor. It was a moment that truly connected me to Ghana’s rich heritage and the warm, welcoming people who made us feel like family. The accommodations were amazing! Great job! Tasty Food…. The food was a treat for the senses—rich, flavorful, and diverse. Each meal gives a taste of Ghana’s culinary heritage. Some experienced going to the bustling market to shop for fresh ingredients, which they help prepared and we enjoyed an amazing local cuisine… Ghana family style!!!! This trip was a perfect blend of history, culture, adventure, and relaxation. Nana and his team went above and beyond to make it unforgettable!!!!! If you’re considering a trip to Ghana, don’t hesitate to explore with Nana and his team. This is an experience that will stay with me for a lifetime. I came as a visitor and leave with a Ghanaian family!
I had the privilege of being one of 24 tourist from the United States visiting Ghanna for my very first time. I must admit I really did not know what to expect since I had never travel out of my country. Nana and his team at Freelancenanatraveks made this trip an unforgettable experience. It started with our pre-trip zoom calls where we were able to get all our questions answered and guided through the Visa process. Once we arrived his team made sure we felt welcomed, safe, comfortable and well fed. We were guided on a journey through history, culture and heritage by a very knowledgeable guide who had a deep passion for his work. We had a complete balance of learning experiences, fun and relaxation. We came as tourist and left as family. I highly recommend booking with them.
This trip was truly life changing. My son and I learned so much! The history is rich and the sights majestic. Nana and his team were amazing and went above and beyond to ensure we had the experience of a lifetime. We're already talking with other members of our family about a return trip. Thank you Freelancenana team for treating my family like your family.
The success of a tour usually begins with the first greeting. From our meeting at the airport, to a special call when we arrived home, Nana and his crew took the utmost care of us. The tour was AMAZING ...INFORMATIVE...FUN...ENTERTAINING... and emotional at times. We were fully immersed or should I say infused in the lives of the Ghanaian... NO SPOILERS HERE.. YOU MUST EXPERIENCE THIS TOUR YOURSELF! Thanks to Professor Micheal, protectors, Joey, Arrow, and the rest of the guys, Prince the life of the party, and of course the ladies. My Ghanaian family, the end of the tour was not goodbye because I will certainly see you again for another adventure.
I can not say enough about my experience with Freelance Nana Tours. In a effort to keep things short I will point out the following: From the planning of the trip to the ending, Nana and his team displayed professionalism, patience, flexibility, and was very accommodating. I traveled with a group of 24, and the team showed a concern for all of our needs. The knowledge shared as we traveled was impeccable. The warmth and true concern was evident throughout the trip. We entered Ghana at the hands of strangers and left as family. I would like to thank the team for providing me with a trip of a lifetime. I highly recommend taking your tour with this company. You will not be disappointed.
I can't begin to express how awesome it was touring Ghana with Freelancenana Travel and Tours. The WHOLE team at Freelancenana is par excellence! They were attentive to our groups needs, extremely flexible and patient, ensured that we were always safe and comfortable, and most importantly warm, open and friendly. In summary, we arrived as "tourists" and left as family. The 10 day itinerary was perfectly curated! Each activity held deep cultural significance, opportunities to learn and interact, and have fun. I could go on about what an amazingly wonderful and blessed experience this tour was but I'll end with this. Come to Ghana, reconnect with our ancestors, and do it with Freelancenana Travel & Tours! This was truly a transformational experience! 10 out of 10 stars!!!
From the time we were greeted at the airport, we felt the LOVE! Our trip was AMAZING! We created UNFORGETTABLE MEMORIES! I TRULY appreciate each and ever member of the team for your WARM hospitality. You all are now a part of our FAMILY! Thank You and Take Care ❤️ Vonda
Nana and his crew are absolutely amazing. From the first email until the last goodbye, we were treated like family. They were with us every step of the way. The accommodations were good, the excursions were not just beautiful but enlightening. Our guides were our teachers, their knowledge and love was shared freely. I didn't just leave with amazing pictures and awesome souvenirs I left with a connection to people that I can call family and a place I can call home. Medaase family!
The most incredible tour I have taken! From the very moment Nana and his crew meet us at the airport I felt so welcomed. Nana and his crew were very knowledgeable and proud to share the country’s history, traditions and geography. We received lectures from the “captain” as we traveled through different areas. At the restaurants they explained the dishes and encouraged us to try different items. One of the crew members took pictures and videos of the entire trip that were shared each day. If you are going to Ghana, I recommend you contact Nana and Freelance!!
This trip was anything short of amazing. Landing in the motherland, greeted by our brothers and sisters being made to feel as if we were arriving to meet our relatives, was PRICELESS. Nana and his team started as tour guides and ended as family. Showing us the rich history of our ancestors to ensuring we had everything and I mean everything we could possibly need or want. I encourage you to visit Ghana, but you cannot visit without utilizing the services of Freelancenana Travels. Planning this trip, Nana supported and worked with our family from day 1 until travel day and beyond. He supported us in preparing for our visit to accommodating us while there with any of our hearts desires. I got sick during my visit and although my mother, father, husband and children were along on the trip, Nana and his team took such good care of me, which allowed my family to continue enjoying themselves. You see, I am an avid traveler but I have NEVER gone anywhere and experienced such professionalism, kindness, warmth and Love (ONE LOVE) like that exhibited by this team. You all made my entire family's experience rich, arranging for us to be immersed in local traditions and culture. I will never forget this experience and haven't stopped thinking or talking about it since my return to the states. I went to Ghana on vacation but I left Ghana with knowledge of my History in a way I have never been exposed, new family members and a new place to call HOME. Thanks Nana, Joey, Arrow, Stylish, Bella, Thompson, Mike, Onassis, Prince and all of the family we meant along the way. I will be BACK and I look forward to our continued relationships. I will support each of you in your own journeys throughout the coming years. We are now FAMILY and these words simply cannot express what a great team you all make and how Happy I am to have found you!!! ONE LOVE Nakia Williams (Ekua Fakye)
From my very first contact with FreelanceNana I could tell that I was dealing with a professional. The actual trip to the Motherland was AMAZING. The historical and cultural heritage tour dispelled so many myths that we are told by American history. Each and every staff member was extraordinary. The experience was beyond expectations and it was like a family reunion. A TRIP OF A LIFETIME. My bucket list has been filled thanks to my husband and wonderful friends, family and staff.
This was my 65th birthday trip. Nana and his crew were awesome!!!! I felt so comfortable and safe. They made extra sure that they protected us and showed us an amazing time. I was surprised by Nana with a birthday celebration on my last night in Accra . I definitely will be using Freelance Travel on my next trip to Ghana. And if you want to experience a trip of a lifetime you should contact Freelance Travel. Nana and his crew are my new family ❤️
I've have been waiting my whole life to make it to the Motherland and I could not have had a better escort. The Freelancenana Travel teams was flat out phenomenal. If you are looking for service, fun, history, excitement, knowledge, culture, good food, class and most important, love then look no further. I came with a group so we did a customized private group tour of Accra and the Cape Coast. We were only there 6 days but gained a lifetime of memories. I don't want to spoil all of the fun and surprises but if you can imagine it, we did it! I don't have enough kind words to say about the Freelancenana Travel team so i'll just say THANK YOU! Do yourself a favor and book with NANA, tell them "the Groove" sent you and he'll take it from there!
I really enjoyed this experience! I think Nana has a wonderful itinerary and every day is filled with a great experience! The food was spectacular and learning about the history of my ancestors was priceless. Prior to going on this trip there was so much that I did not know or understand! This trip was educational, exciting and exhilarating. If you get the chance….. gooooooooooo!!!!!!!
Nana Preston and his team are the epitome of professional tour guides. I’ve visited a number of countries over the years, met a lot of wonderful people but none more welcoming and accommodating and professional as Freelance Nana Travels. We had an amazing adventure throughout Ghana visiting the historical and cultural sites but they also went the extra mile with our nightlife activities. They were even accommodating when we had difficulty making our way to the next excursion because of our lack of sleep. They were ready and prepared for the unforeseen and handled each situation with consideration for our comfort and pleasure. I highly recommend Freelance Nana Travels for all your West African travel needs. So much so that we will venture with him and his team to South Africa later this year. We also intend on bringing another group to Ghana to experience the hospitality that is unmatched. Do yourself a favor and join a incoming scheduled tour or allow them to customize your own Ghana adventure, you will be glad you did.
I come from Ghana and even I have never seen anything like it. Friendly host, friendly atmosphere . Greatly recommended
We couldn’t have asked for more from Nana and his amazing team. From start to finish he arranged expeditions that made our pilgrimage through Ghana a true adventure. More importantly he orchestrated a cultural and emotional immersion, fostering connections and memories that will last a lifetime. Highly recommended. Abdul Amin and Dana Bjarnason. Madaase.
The most amazing and spiritual vacation ever!!!! It was everything I could have imagined and then some. I was able to connect with a piece of my history that was partially known through television and movies and brought to life by this wonderful team of tour guides. They kept us busy with knowledge and made us feel like family along the way. Each day brought a new adventure and a piece of Ghana to bring home. I thank the wonderful freelancenana Travels, all my tour guides, my very skilled driver and the town of Elmina for being so welcoming to me, my family and my soul. They will forever be in my heart. Thank you for an amazing journey, I could have done it without you all.
The personal care and attention that Freelance gives is unbelievable. This was not a tour- it was a personal journey of self-discovery, adventure and fun! This surpassed my expectations! And our travel guides (Mike and Samuel) were amazing! More than a tour- it was a gathering with family that we shall never forget!
Nana is a man of the people. His tour not only gave us historical and cultural context but social as well that was continually affirmed in museums and by our various tour guides. We traversed through the Greater Accra region, to Cape Coast and Elmina, to Kumasi and up to Mole without a hitch. The beautiful waterfalls, scenes at the Mole National Park, conversations in the Asante villages, and resorts were some places and experiences I’ll never forget. My wife and I felt safe throughout our entire stay and would recommend anyone interested in authentically engaging with a natural leader and servant to travel with Nana. His professionalism is unmatched along with his genuine love for his country, his fellow Ghanaians and those who travel with him. It’s been a dream of mine to come home and with the help of Nana it surpassed all expectations. We will be back soon to hit the other side of Ghana and to experience more of West Africa with Nana. Shoutout the original Black man! Big love!
WHOA is all I can say About this trip! First trip across the pond and 1st to africa...it did not disappoint! Nana and his team were simply fantastic! I saw and learned so many things. I did not expect to see ALL of Ghana on this trip but they made it happen with what seemed effortlessly. They were so accommodating in every aspect of the trip. We will definitely be back and I will be contacting my new family.....Nana, Mike, Bessie, Aatuu (sp) and Bella! Best team ever and can't wait to get back to see my family as they are missed already!
We did a 14 day tour with Freelancenana and of course I was skeptical but from the beginning when we met at the airport I knew this was going to be a great experience. We were able to see so much of Ghana and learn about the history. The best part of getting to mingle with the locals and just have a vibe. I learned and saw so much more than I expected om this trip. I am forever grateful for this experience and how much he and the crew put into making this an amazing experience. Shout out to Nana, Dr. Michael, Bessie and the best driver ever Ato!!!
This was a life changing experience for me. Taking me back to my roots, which at times feeling like boot camp if you have bad knees like me. This agency made everyone in my party feel safe and comfortable. After photos jokingly I was called the King. The care I received and the team always checking on my well-being made me start to believe I was king. With the constant education from this agency knowledgeable staff and connections to wonderful guides will allow you to really fill the experience of Ghana in it’s fullest. Knowing that I wasn’t a king along with the expert driving made me feel that I underpaid for this wonderful trip. I can’t wait to go on another trip with this agency and looking forward to hosting these wonderful people in California that showed so much love
This was the most authentic tour of getting to know this beautiful land, rich history, and people. Michael and Nana are experienced and so knowledgeable. You are most important to them. Absolutely profound experience and lots of fun.
Nana and Michael and our driver Mr Ibrahim were amazing. We felt safe and connected to the country. They are so knowledgeable and taught us many things. They were adaptive to our needs and very communicative
I went to Ghana with Melanin Travels Magic, and Freelancenana Travels was their local partner who helped coordinate our 10-day tour of the country. Many thanks to Nana and his team for the personal attention given to us. I can’t speak highly enough of Michael, our amazing driver, who was always very protective and respectful and got us to places safely. Our tour guide, Thompson, was with us the whole trip and made sure we were well taken care of. He gave us an outstanding personal tour that exceeded all my expectations! He was a brilliant ambassador for his country, very knowledgeable, warm, organized and honest. He is extremely amiable and takes pride in his work and in the community that he serves. We were lucky to have him to gain such an insight into the history and culture of Ghana. He was quick to accommodate our requests as well as needed changes in the itinerary. Most of all, he was great company and we thoroughly enjoyed our time together. Thompson is also the founder of Creating Smiles Foundation, an NGO, which distributes stationery to underprivileged children and food to street kids. The itinerary arranged for us included so many wonderful things- First, we toured Accra and visited must-see landmarks like the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and the W.E.B. Du Bois Memorial. We also went to Accra’s Art Centre, where Thomson helped us haggle. We crossed the Kakum National Park’s canopy walkway for a view of the wildlife and landscape; gained insight into the history of the Ashanti Kingdom and the Slave River and drove to Elmina and Cape Coast Castle to learn about the thought-provoking history of the transatlantic slave trade. We saw a variety of crafts, from learning how to play the drums, cook African food to Kente cloth making. I thoroughly recommend Melanin Travels Magic and Feelancenana Travels to help shape your journey and enable you, too, to have a memorable experience in Ghana. Wishing you both every success with your tour businesses. Thank you Thompson for treating us like family, I fell in love with Ghana and its people through you. Someday I hope to return to Ghana and explore more of the country with you. I know you are going to do great things with your foundation. Medaase to all of you.
This trip was a blessing! I had the pleasure of traveling to Ghana with a group of like-minded beautiful brown people who value the importance of knowing our history and having fun in the process. We became family. This trip to Ghana was AMAZING and life-changing. We laughed, cried, and celebrated life together. Nana is the life of the party! He is patient, organized, energetic, and full of knowledge. I will be forever grateful to Nana for helping me turn a dream into a reality. I am truly blessed to have the opportunity to share such a wonderful experience with an amazing group of people. Thank you so much Nana for everything! Much love ❤️
Every excursion was absolutely amazing. Nana and his team were extremely accommodating and made this trip a dream come true. I gained so much knowledge about Ghanaian culture and I will definitely be back. I highly recommend!
These 10 days with the best of the best tour agents and guides were full of surprises and amazing experience. Everything was organized on the highest level and I had no troubles and worries during my tour with Nana Preston. Only fun, joy and happiness. I can give him only wonderful recommendations
The best travel experience of my life, with Nana I felt I was returning home instead of a tourist or visitor. The amazing experience of seeing ghana was enhanced by his knowledge of the regions, culture, and traditions. Nana and Michael welcomed me and showed me ghana in all aspects from the city, to coastal town, from nights out to waterfalls to historic structures to local markets, this trip had it all and Nana was an absolute delight to have always.
