6 Hour Fun-filled Tour Perfect For Cruise Travelers & Hotel Stays

If you're on a cruise and want all the highlights, pick this. Cliff divers, release turtles, and see the peace chapel. Be sure to bring some cash to pay for the indoor seating with a drink at cliff divers, totally worth it! Wonderful well organized and guided day.

Our tour with Roberto, in association with Rudy, was excellent. He met us at the pier where our cruise ship docked and provided great commentary throughout the tour. We saw all that we wanted to see in Acapulco and also got to see another side of Acapulco that we would not have normally experienced on a tour. We learned a lot, had a lot of fun, and enjoyed our tour.

Our guide, Malu, was wonderful and the tour itself was fabulous. However, The van was awful; you can’t see out of windows because of the graduated stairs and the air conditioning vents on the sides were not working so it was hot in the van. Also, PLEASE provide water for your guests, but thankful that Malu let us stop at a gas station for drinks and snacks!

The guide and driver were both above average. What we saw was very nice, especially the turtle release into the Pacific Ocean. The problem was the Nissan van. It was the most uncomfortable vehicle that I have ever toured in. It was built for midgets, with very narrow seats and very little legroom. Just the worst ever.

Maloo (spelling?) led us on a great tour covering so much of Acapulco. She gave us the full 6 hours advertised. We saw magnificent views of the bay and then carried onto the new area with freshly constructed hotels and residences. We had great fun, releasing baby turtles into the ocean. We loved the beautiful chapel of peace on top of the hill. We loved seeing the neighborhoods of old Acapulco, including a busy and colorful market. Cliff diving show was spectacular. Loved the Diego Rivera artwork.

This was a great tour. It doesn’t take 6 hrs but you need 6 hrs because of the traffic. Malu was our guide and she was excellent. We went to the turtle release first and found it really interesting and fun. We then went to a fantastic viewpoint at the cross on the hill. We then went and watched the cliff divers at their 1:00pm show - this was incredible and you have to be there to see them swim across a small inlet, climb the cliff then dive off - very iconic and famous. We finished with a drive through of the market and a further sightseeing spot which no big vehicles could ever get to. The van could do with an upgrade but we just went with the flow and made it part of the experience.

The tour and tour guides were fantastic! The sites were well explained and done so with excitement of sharing their knowledge. The baby turtle release was so awesome! The landscape stunning and cliff divers were amazing!

Very good wouldn’t consider another hotel in the area, the on suit bedroom was fantastic, a great area quite and only a 15 minute stroll to the centre of Louth, Thanks Jennifer & Michael.

Mario and his wife took us on the tour. They were terrific. Knew so much about the town. Rained so limited cliff jumping but still a good experience

We toured with Milu around the Acapulco. She is very knowledgeable and a great tour guide - she took us to the places where tourists usually don’t go - we loved the Murals and the panoramic views of the city - took a lot of pictures- if you ended up in Acapulco, it is a great idea to take this tour

This was an amazing experience . I would recommend to anyone visiting Alcopolco . Rudy and Milla were wonderful . They explained so much of the history of this beautiful place . If you want the full experience this is definitely the way to go . Absolutely amazing .

Acapulco is still hurting from the big hurricane, but they are coming back. Jesus and Rudi gave us an excellent tour of their city's highlights. Timely cruiseport pick-up and drop-off, well-run, and fun!

We had a great time with Oscar and Alex on this tour in Acapulco! They were easy to find has we exited the cruise port, and the tour got underway with 9 of us in an air conditioned van. They took us to all the highlights in Acapulco, answered our questions, and made sure we had a great day! I might add that we felt completely safe with them as our guides. I would highly recommend!!

Mario was a very kind and informative guide. The tour gave us a good overview of the city of Acapulco including a better understanding of the aftermath of the devastating 2023 hurricane. A highlight was releasing baby turtles and visiting the chapel on the hill. Area for improvement would be to improve ventilation on the bus and not seeing all the hotels.

We had the best experience in Acapulco; In just a few hours we did a lot! The tour guide Malu was very friendly and very knowledgeable. If you are going by cruise, this tour is perfect!

We did the 6 hour tour with Mario. It was wonderful. We saw everything we had hoped for and more. Acapulco has been hit hard by hurricanes two years running but they are bouncing back. All of the people were friendly and are glad to see tourists coming back. If you are on a cruise ship, even if you aren't, I would heartily recommend it. You get to customize it to your wants and navigate roads to see sights that no bus could even dream of accessing. Gracias Mario and gracias Rudy for a great day.

We were the first cruise ship to go into Acapulco following the devastation caused by the hurricane in October 23. It was incredibly sad to see all the destruction the storm caused. However, what a fantastic day we had. Alfonso (Poncho) was a great guide, took us all around Acapulco and we saw the famous divers. I highly recommend this tour.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about our tour guide Alex and this adventure. Everything was timed perfectly. The devastation of the country from the hurricane a few months ago is beyond words and very sobering. Not sure if the economy will ever recover. But on a positive note we had an amazing time releasing the baby turtles into the ocean. We stopped for lots of scenic photos and had a nice lunch with drinks at a restaurant overlooking the cliff diving show. He even tried to find me a place to mail postcards but I forgot it was a holiday so the post office was closed. I highly highly recommend this tour when in Acapulco and hopefully you will get Alex!!

This is a scam, we waited in the hotel lobby for one hour at the designated time and they never showed up. They were very rude.

Our driver picked us up at the airport and dropped us at our Hotel, Las Brisas, on the first day. On the next day, we were picked up and headed to the Turtle hatchery. Along the way we stopped at several places for pictures. We then headed back to the Chapel of Peace. We continued our tour through Acapulco as our guides entertained us with information of the history of Acapulco. We visited many different neighborhoods, the market area, and even stopped at a bakery for some really great pastries. Our visit to the divers was also great. We had a light lunch on the way back to the hotel. Our guides, Rudy and Lupita, were exceptional.

Fantastic tour and tour guides! We enjoyed very much the stories about Acapulco and the places visited. The local bakery, the turtle release and the various panoramas cannot be missed .

Rudy’s tour by van is a compressive look at all beautiful Acapulco has to offer. This was the second time we toured with them and we were just as impressed the second time around. Tour by Van is a professional, safe, fun way to experience Acapulco. We had premium seats to view the amazing cliff divers! The turtle release was a new addition to the tour and added so much! The guides are experienced and know their stuff. You won’t be disappointed by Rudy’s Acapulco tour.

Great tour we came off the cruise ship and was met by our guide . Everything on this tour was perfect and we got to see a lot on it and everything was well explained by the guide . The turtles was an amazing experience and the cliff divers breathtaking our group decided to pay extra to go to hotel were the view was superb . Nothing to dislike on this tour if your coming of a cruise do it don’t waste your money on ships yours which see less and cost more . They will make sure you are back on time

Our guide was very knowledgeable and prompt. We saw many of the city highlights. It’s a great alternative to the tours offered on the ship.

We enjoyed our guide and helping send turtles out to the water. We enjoyed seeing all aspects of the city. Also our guide had lots of good history to share with us about Mexico. We loved changing seats so nobody was stuck in back the whole time. Great guide!!

We had a fabulous tour with our Guide and Driver, who both spoke very good English and were very knowledgeable about their city. A particular highlight was releasing the newly hatched turtles onto the beach to make their way into the sea. I thought it would be very crowded with lots of tour groups. This wasn’t the case as there was our group and only another 4 people releasing the turtles - fantastic. There was a lot more to the tour including seeing the Acapulco Cliff Divers. There was a lot of security around the port/city and so we felt safe at all times.

Rudy and Oscar gave us a fantastic tour, completely different to the ones offered by our cruise ship, and for a much cheaper price. The homemade video and photographs provided by Rudy after the tour were an added bonus.

This was the tour that was our favorite on a 15 night cruise. The turtles were absolutely the best part. The cliff divers were remarkable and viewing them from the comfort and shade of the restaurant above was the right call. Benny was a knowledgeable and informative guide that really loves his city.

This small tour allowed to see other parts of Acapulco that we wouldn't have with the larger cruise based tours, so happy we booked this.
