Sebastián was amazing! He was so quick to respond each time we reached out with confirmations, questions, and requests. He was so kind and polite. He made us feel safe and welcomed. The tour was given in English as my partner did not speak Spanish well. This was such a treat!! He knew so much about each place we went to and took it upon himself to take the best photos of us. You could tell he loves what he does and he does it well. Thank you Sebastian!!

Excellent overview by Sébastien of Acapulco must see highlights. His knowledge of Mexican history certainly enhanced our tour. Very flexible in the itinerary. Would do this private tour again.
Would have liked a better, closer view of the cliff divers. Nice that Silver shop provided a cold drink. Lunch stop fun, great view and yummy food. Margaritas packed a punch. Tour guide and driver did a very good job!
Sebastian was on time and professional. The stops were the perfect amount o time. The shuttle A/C was great and our stop to see the divers was great.
The guide Sebastian was wonderful and had a great sense of humor. He was very informative and knowledgeable about the places and things he was showing us.
The Guide could not have been more lovely and accommodating! The van was air conditioned but the seats were not comfortable. My knees had no room and I’m only 5’7” tall. This was a small group tour and my husband and I were 2 of 8. The other passengers talked while the Tori guide was trying to give us the history. That was very annoying! The guide was knowledgeable and had great information.
Sebastián is an outstanding guide. His knowledge of the city is amazing. He knows the history and can talk about the current post-hurricane situation. We have a new appreciation for the city we have heard about forever. He knows the best spots for photos. We had a great time and highly recommend this way to get to know the city.
We had a great experience visiting Acapulco thanks to Sebastian Hernandez Ricardo. He is a very informed, and educated guide. Not only that he shared the history of the city but also he enjoyed us with spanish idioms. It was a pleasure having him as a tour guide.
Sébastien H. is a great tour guide. The tour itself was very interesting and informative. This tour is one we will use on our future trip here. The stops were all great especially the chapel on the mountain top. Such a beautiful view from there. Sébastien was full of information about Acapulco's past and present. The cliff diving was a treat to see in person. The food at the Pink Flamingo was to write home about. All the stops had a great vibe of their own. The pickup time/location was accurate and on time. 11/13/24 was an exceptional day for us by choosing this tour. Thanks again Sébastien.
Sebastian was a wonderful tour guide and a awesome person as well. He made my wife and myself feel like a family member from the time we met. His knowledge of Acupoco was excellent. Each stop on our City Tour was amazing, and very beautiful. I would definitely recommend using Sebastian for the city tours, as well as all of the other tours he does. A life experience we will never forget. A friend we will always remember. 25th Wedding Anniversary was awesome.
Our tour guide Sebastian was awesome. As we traveled to each destination, he explained the entire history of each place we visited. We really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend using his services. A fun day to remember for the rest of our lives.
Sebastian is amazing! He truly loves what he does! He showed us around certain parts of Acapulco and took his time to explain the history. We got to see amazing views/sites, shop at a local shop, eat an amazing lunch beachfront. He also took great photos of us! We also used him for airport-hotel transfers and he took us to the grocery store as well. We recommend Sebastian @ Acapulco for All to anyone visiting Acapulco. His tours are great! We will definitely use him again when we come back! It was an amazing experience!
My wife and I had an unforgettable experience getting to know Acapulco’s main tourist destinations. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, trustworthy, safe driver, and his professionalism was impeccable. We felt safe the entire time and I highly recommend him to anyone.
Excellent tour. Our guide was incredibly knowledgable and gave us a fantastic day in Acapulco . We learned about history, art, culture and much more. Time and money well invested. I would totally recommend this tour with Sebastian and team if you’re looking for a tour in Acapulco.
Such a great way to see the sights of Acapulco and learn about this area and more of Mexico. Sabatian was a wonderful guide, sharing his knowledge of his home town and history with us and also framing up our photos for great pictures to take home. Highly recommended!
Sebastian and his son treated my friend and I so well that it was like we were friends just hanging out. At the same time they were completely knowledgeable and professional. I'm glad I took this tour with them. It made my experience in Acapulco 100 times better. I highly recommend this tour!
This was the best tour ever. ( it was pre-hurricane of course). Sebastian was friendly, knowledgeable, timely and overall fantastic. I highly recommend him for any tour. We went to the Chapel of Peace an Manos d la Hermanidad. It was just amazing and what view. So much history! We saw sights all along Diamante on our way to and from our pickup at our hotel. Our tour included lunch at a restaurant on Playa Caletas. The eats were great and the cultural mix along the beach was impressive. We had such things as shrimp tacos, chicken tostadas, and coconut ice cream. After lunch, we went to the infamous Cliff Divers. A fantastic show was put on. Diego and Frida mural and saw where they lived. We also enjoyed shopping at an artisan market. Los Flamingos Hotel was interesting with the old gang, John Wayne, & such. We felt completely safe and had an amazing time with Sebastian. I suggest this tour when Acapulco gets back on its feet and until then any tour with Sebastian would be el worth the money. and you would have a great time.
We had such a great time on the tour with Sebastian. We were here on a cruise and wanted to see as much of Acapulco as possible in 6 hours. Sebastian took us to so many beautiful places and we learned so much about the city and the history. We highly recommend you book this tour. Thank you Sebastian!
Such a beautiful tour! Sebastian was incredibly friendly and informative about so many interesting things about the city! Every stop we went to had such pristine views and photo worthy locations! From earthy churches, to art, to little shops with stunning jewelry to take along the way! I strongly encourage booking this tour and getting immersed in a history lesson and the culture!
Awesome tour and provided a very thorough depiction of all stops along the tour. The air conditioned view of the cliff divers was very much appreciated! Releasing baby sea turtles was one of the highlights of the tour. Don't listen to the bad news about Acapulco. Very beautiful and safe. If you're there on a Thursday, go find a nice spot for some delicious pozole!
We had a very fun day seeing the sights in Acapulco. We visited the Chapel of Peace (way more interesting than I anticipated and beautiful views) , had a delicious lunch on the beach (Margaritas not included, but also delicious), stopped a bit for some shopping, watched the daredevil cliff divers, saw some art and a historic hotel. We hired Sebastián Hernandez to show us around. He was very prompt, knowledgeable and affordable. Thank you to the other reviewers who recommended him.
Seba is a great person, show me the cultural places, and I got a lot of info about México and Guerrero
This tour is led by Sebastian Hernandez, who immediately put us at ease and is so knowledgeable of Acapulco and it’s sites. My favorite part of this tour was the uphill drive to Capilla de la Paz (Chapel of Peace), located on the highest point of Acapulco-a beautiful symmetrical building with hammered wood doors and onyx panels that let in the light. The surrounding grounds are so peaceful and there’s a wonderful panoramic view of Acapulco from that point. Sebastian shared the history of this building and of Acapulco’s coastal areas-really enjoyed details about the region. HIGHLY recommend his tour, he’ll take you to spots with spectacular views.
Sebastian was amazing! He took us from one side of the Acapulco bay to the other side. At the chapel of peace he gave the history of the location explained the significance of each area he showed us and then he even took pictures of us with our own phone to increase the experience and memory of it. Then when we went to the divers show he made sure we had the best seats and the food was amazing! Sebastian even gave us local restaurants to explore for the rest of the time we were in Acapulco to make sure we enjoyed our whole stay not just our time with him. I can't recommend Sebastian enough total worth the price you pay!
We absolutely loved our tour guide Sebastian. I loved that they picked us up from our villa and transported us to where we needed to be then dropped us off. They were extremely professional, kind, and caring. If you want to get a good feel of Acapulco and enjoy we recommend this tour.
We had a great time on this tour! We visited the Chapel of Peace, witnessed the mesmerizing Cliff Divers, explored the Flamingo Hotel, and enjoyed some delightful shopping at the local market. The highlight was the authentic Mexican restaurant where we indulged in a full Mexican meal. The flavors were incredible, and the ambiance was perfect. It truly felt like we were experiencing the heart of Mexico. Sebastián was an excellent tour guide and very knowledgeable about the fabric of the city. We felt safe and taken care of throughout our time together. I highly recommend booking. You won't regret it.
I personally lived the Chapel of Peace and the stunning views from that side of acapulco. The coconut drink Coco Loco at Los FLAMINGOS was a nice touch with an incredible view! Lunch was very tasty too! Driver was punctual, friendly, and super acccommodating. Very nice day!!
Was a great way to see the city. Favorite part was seeing the chapel of peace. The views are breathtaking.
My family (including kids 9 and 5) took a deep sea fishing tour through Acapulco For All with Sebastian Hernandez. We were out on the water for over six hours with Captain Carlos. Sebastian provided sandwiches and drinks and picked us up and dropped us off from our resort. My husband has been trying to catch a marlin for years and he finally caught one that was about 150 pounds and about 9 feet long! The kids loved seeing sea turtles and dolphins out in the wild. Highly recommended!
Our driver Hernandez was the best, took great care of us very informative would definitely recommend
We had an excellent tour with Sebastian, he was very knowledgeable about Acapulco. Being born and raised here he knew all the right places to show us. He also speaks very good english. Chapel of peace is a must. The views are to die for. Drove to old Acapulco, we also stopped at Hotel Flamingo which at one time was owned by John Wayne. The cliff divers were spectacular, we had lunch on the beach and the food was delicious. We loved Acapulco and felt completely safe, I'm sure there are shady areas in Chicago or New York too. I will come back here. Give sebastian a call for a day tour!!!
A great way to start the trip and discover Acapulco. From the Chapel of Peace overlooking the bay to the Diego Rivera mural, there was tons for us to learn and experience. Cliff divers were a highlight!
The best part of the tour was ,Sebastian the guide. However the Chapel of peace was beautiful cool and charming Ing. The tour throughout was fully explained and professionally executed. The views were tremendous and to cap it all we we watched the famous divers at the Mirador restaurant, and wewere spared the 150 steps descent to the crowded viewing platform and instead watched it allfrom our a/c bus. Then Sebastian took us to a beautiful mosaic created by Diego Rivera for lola his girlfriend. The lunch provided was fully mexican, a real treat. We would fully recommend this tour to anyone in Acapulco for the day.
One of the reasons I booked this tour was because we would have a great view of the cliff divers from the Hotel Mirador balcony. Unfortunately, we were not taken to the Mirador and instead, our view of the divers was from a hilltop area so far away that we could barely see the divers. That was a huge disappointment because the cliff divers are one of the things Acapulco is famous for and we were excited to see them. We had heard such great things about Sabastian and thought he was going to be our tour guide, but we had someone else. Lunch was OK and the view of the Diego Rivera mosaics was a slow drive by for pictures and we did not get out of the van for pictures. Other than that, it was an enjoyable tour. There were 8 in our group and we thought it was a private tour for us, but another 4 joined us. Our tour was on March 7, 2023 and we were from the cruise ship.
The tour of Acapulco was great. Got to see things we would not have known about or how to get to. I especially liked the Diego Rivera mosaic as a love letter to his mistress. Very cool. Sebastian was a very good guide, told us background of things we would not otherwise have known. Highly recommend.
It was a delightful day in Acapulco with Sebastian! We never felt unsafe and he was knowledgeable and entertaining. The cliff divers were fantastic! Lunch was delicious and we saw beautiful & interesting sites. And the water, beer, and tequila were great! Would highly recommend this tour!
Roberto was an outstanding guide. Excellent local knowledge and we felt like we saw all the key sites of this iconic city. Wrapped up the tour with a delicious lunch.
As a group of 6 we took the tour from our cruise ship in a comfortable minibus and enjoyed seeing the beautiful church, the Flamingo hotel, mural, amazing photo opportunities of the coast line , the divers show (albeit we arrived around 10 mins later than we should to get a good spot to view it) We then stopped for lunch at a beach side restaurant and tastes tequila before getting back on the ship.
Fun, safe and very informative tour in Acapulco. One of the best city tour hands-down. Sebastian was punctual, knowledgable and spoke exceptional English. Great lunch was included in the tour and it was super delish by the beach. All the must-see spots in Acapulco specially the cliff divers was amazing. The Chapel of Peace had a breathtaking view of the bay and Diego Rivera's mural and the story behind it were very interesting. An absolute BEST in Acapulco!
What a great day in Acapulco! We were met at the cruise port by Sebastian, where he explained to us that Benjamin would be our driver and tour guide. Shortly there after Benjamin arrived. He introduced himself and his english was very good. We toured several overlooks with beautiful views of Acapulco on our way to a beach where we were provided baby turtles and allowed to release them into the ocean. What a wonderful experience! We then went to the Chapel of Peace and Benjamin explained the history of the church. We had lunch at, I believe, La Cabana Restaurant, which was excellent! We then watched the Cliff Divers, which was unbelievable, dangerous but talented drivers. We then visited the area where Diego Rivera lived and viewed the mosaic that he had created.
Our private tour with Sebastian and Alejandro was great! Instructions on how to find them at the cruise ship was easy and accurate. Sebastian was a very competent driver and Alejandro explained the sites. There was water and tequila onboard to quench our thirst and we went for a nice taco lunch that was included. They were also generous at taking pics for us both on our camera and their own, which they shared with us. We were a group of 5 adults. Thanks for a great day in Acapulco!
Our group of six had a great tour of Acapulco during our Norwegain cruise stop. Along with other guests that we didn't know, we had a nice tour of the city. The best parts of the excursion were being able to release some baby turtles into the ocean. We all were encouraging our turtle to hurry and make it into the water before the circling birds turned them into a meal. Thankfully, they all made the journey successfully with a little help our hosts and a patrolling dog. The cliff divers performance was amazing! What courage! We finished our tour with a very nice lunch at a local restaurant. Our guide and driver were great fun and added to the enjoyment of the tour and to taking care of our safety. Thank you both!
Wonderful tour of Acapulco! We were picked up at the cruise pier on time, given a great tour of Acapulco and we even got to release some baby turtles. I would highly recommend taking this tour. *Tip - it is very hot while watching the cliff divers. Bring a bottle of water and an umbrella for some shade.
We both enjoyed the whole tour very much. Our guide, Sebastian, was very knowledgable, spoke English well, was a good driver and answered all of our questions. We loved going to the Peace Chapel. The views from that location are spectacular. We liked the Flamingo Hotel, but this was not the highlight for us. The best part was watching the Cliff Divers, though we would have liked to have been closer. The lunch on the beach was wonderful. And I was very thrilled to have seen the Diego Rivera mural. It was much bigger than I though it would be!
We had a great day with our guide He met us at the cruise pier just as we were told. Comfortable ride Guide was informative Took us to many interesting places and with the explanations to answer all our questions Ended with the exciting cliff diver show! We were able to arrive early to ensure a good location for watching
Sebasyian pucked us up right on time. The Mirador and The Chapel Mirador were fabulous. Lunch at Caleta Beach was good. The beach is small, clear, calm and would be great for swimming. Maybe another trip there one day with our bathing suits. I loved Sebastian’s story telling and he told us all about Diego Rivera’s mosaic. The Hotel Flamingo has a great history and view. Lots of people eating there. I’d like to go back for a meal. The highlight was La Quebrada. Sebastian showed us inside The Mirador Hotel where La Perla Restaurant is licated and we opted to pay for a drink and see the show from a table there instead of using the 150 + stairs to the public La Quebrada viewing deck, The flea market had nice things. The seller really wanted to sell me something and I wasn’t in the market for anything. A taste of tequila from Sebastian’s own huge bottle of Dom Ramon finished off the day nicely. It was really smooth andcwent down nicely.
This was a shorter tour; the highlight was the divers of La Quebrada; amazing event (which we heard about first from the 1963 Elvis Presley movie "Fun in Acapulco")! Sebastian, our guide (this was the 2nd tour with him) arranged everything perfectly. He is really the best! Knowledgeable, high-spirited, very courteous! We'll definitely come back to Acapulco! Muchas gracias Señor Sebastian!
Sebastian showed us an excellent time in Acapulco. His driving and information was impressive. He spoke great English. We hit all the top spots. We were lucky to be able to launch turtles at the end of their nesting season. Lunch of chicken enchiladas with tomatillo sauce was excellent. Our friends had chicken taquitos. We bought beers and margaritas for reasonable prices. Didn’t care for shopping stop, the vendors were too aggressive. The view from the Flamingo was amazing. The coco-loco was pretty and an ok margarita inside. It was $15 plus tip, so it was an experience. Sebastian and his nephew took good care of us and kept us safe. We were thankful for space for 4 in a roomy van with great air conditioning. Communication was great as well. I would love to have added a beach stop to jump in the water at the end, NEXT time.
What an amazing shore excursion from our cruise stop in Acapulco. Must admit I felt a little concerned with security issues when the ship itinerary changed ports from Costa Rica to Acapulco but we need not have worried. Sebastian was waiting for us outside the port with Donovan his nephew who is learning the trade. We walked a short distance to an excellent air conditioned van and off we went.. First stop was a local viewpoint of the city and the ocean.. Then we went to a BUCKET LIST stop.. Baby turtle release! Wow wow wow is all I have to say about that, it was emotional. They were born last night and to actually release one myself to the ocean is something I will never forget. Moving on.. And this may be in the incorrect order as we packed a lot in.. We went to a local flea market then a stop for an included lunch, we saw the cliff divers and went to a viewpoint with a church in too.. That was a wow moment too seeing the entire city. Finally we stopped at The Flamingo Hotel, once upon a time owned by John Wayne and the original Tarzan, Johnny Weissmuller, be warned though, nice though they are the cocktails are expensive here. Would I recommend Sebastian? Yes in a heart beat, he was knowledgeable and friendly, if we ever refurn we will look him up 100%
First of all Sebastian runs a great business. He keeps in constant contact with you from the beginning. We had him pick us up at the airport late and stopped and let us get groceries while he patiently waited for us. We scheduled a tour but my husband didn’t feel well so he let us reschedule once hubby was up to the outing. His English is really good so he was able to give us lots of background to the areas we were seeing. He is great about posing you in the best photo spots. Make sure to check him out when visiting.
