Not a 5 star hotel ! Don’t make my mistake and be hopeful, skip it and pick another hotel. The food is horrible, they don’t have service all day and there is no room service. The pool area is small, dirty and lacks maintenance. We checked in on a Friday, next to the entrance of the children’s pool there was a used earbud, on Monday, before check out, I took a picture of it, still there. My 2 year old cut two of his toes on the broken tiles of the pool floor. The windows in the rooms are so thin there might as well not be one, you can hear everything and it’s hard to sleep. We asked for a cot and what they gave us was something out of a horror movie, it would have broken my child’s back !! The shower is so old and short. The view is beautiful but honestly, the price on offer was not worth staying at this hotel !

The hotel is very old with very outdated facilities, it urgently needs to be renovated! The hallways (especially the area they call the “museum”), the elevators, and the rooms all smells like mold. The food at every meal is very poorly prepared, as are the drinks. The only decent options are the foods made fresh to order, such as the eggs at breakfast and the hamburger at lunch. To make the experience even worse, people are allowed to rent huge speakers on the beach and play loud music for as long as they want. As a result, you end up hearing 20 different types of music playing at the same time. There is also loud music playing inside the hotel until late at night, especially on weekends. It can be clearly heard from inside the rooms and makes it difficult to sleep. The only thing that saves the experience is the staff, who are extremely polite, kind, and friendly!
Very noisy disco that has obnoxious music until 5 am in the morning. Difficult sleeping, sometimes maddening. The hotel msnagement should get municipal codes enacted to prevent this noise.
Was an excellent stay despite having to go alone. My girlfriend ditched me for some photo shoot at the other Ritz. She hasn't said a word to me and I'm concerned. I'm in a difficult spot myself and could really use help. I tried to relax but I couldn't. I just wanted to spend time with her. I put this note in a bottle and threw it in the ocean. Hope she gets it, John Driskill
The hotel is very old, the elevator feels like it's going to die eventually. The rooms look old and dirty, you don't feel like using the tub on the room as it feels awfully unkeeped. Rooms are very noisy, you can hear all traffic jam from even the 6th floor... they were doing also some repairs on another floor and we could listen the noise since very early, super annoying. There's only one swimming pool and it is very small for the size of the hotel, so it's incredibly crowded. Very bad experience, not really worth for the price level it has, there are way better options. I would describe the hotel as dirty, noisy, old and crowded.
