Hs Hotsson Hotel Acapulco

Dear Management Team,I am writing to share our excellent experience during our first visit to Acapulco. Your property boasts a premier location close to everything. While the entire staff was outstanding, we want to formally recognize Angel from the bell desk.On our very first night, Angel welcomed us warmly, carried our luggage to our room, and took the time to explain how everything worked. Throughout our stay, he continued to provide exceptional service, always answering our questions and ensuring our transportation was safe and fairly priced. His attentiveness to my wife and his overall professionalism gave us great peace of mind. Employees of this caliber deserve recognition and promotion. Thank you for a wonderful stay, and please extend our sincere gratitude to Angel.

Usually we stay at Fiesta American but they were booked. Thought we would try the Hottson because it does look nice from the street and has a good reputation. The hotel has been mostly refurbished from the hurricane. The rooms are clean, comfortable and updated. Nice showers, bed, tv and view. Multiple pools that are well kept and plenty of seating. Hotel seemed at about 50 percent capacity which was odd since the Fiesta Americana was booked. They do have activities throughout the day for kids around the pool area. The pool area is very convenient to the beach. So why the lower rating? The service was very bad. I rated a 2 out of 10 for a hotel of this size and expense. Not a shortage of employees but a shortage or service. Our first time in the swim up bar there were 5 service personnel huddled around the checkout terminal 20 feet from where we were sitting in the pool bar and not one approached us. I finally whistled loud enough to get one’s attention who took our order and had to chase him down for a refill. This seemed to be pervasive throughout the hotel. Want service? Go find it. Everyone here looked unhappy and like they wanted to be somewhere else. Compared to other hotels in costera I would rate service the worst. A shame too, because had the service been good I would have rated it a 4.0 for Acapulco.

Nice rooms, variety of options in the restaurant. Staff super helpful and great access to the beach, and pools in every outdoor area

Our booking was cancelled 40 minutes of arriving because the creditcard was not accepted. They should have contacted us and said that we could pay ath arrival in the hotel and not cancel the booking. What kind of hotel does this. None in Europa. Woman in the reception was a big joke and not even willing to help us. This is not the kind of service you expect from a five star hotel (according to booking.com). These people are frauds and the hotel is not even worth one star.
