Afternoon tea at Emirates Palace is an experience in itself. The setting is absolutely stunning — grand, elegant and unmistakably luxurious — and makes the occasion feel special from the moment you arrive. The food was exquisite, beautifully presented and every bit as impressive as the surroundings. The staff were attentive, warm and professional throughout, without ever being intrusive. The signature cappuccino topped with gold is an absolute must and adds a wonderfully extravagant Emirates Palace touch! If you don’t drink coffee or tea, ask for the hot chocolate — a great alternative. A memorable afternoon in one of Abu Dhabi’s most spectacular settings. Highly recommended for a special occasion or simply when you want to indulge in a little luxury.
Celebrated my birthday with afternoon tea it was wonderful
Booking this as a private experience with a transfer is the most efficient way to handle the logistics. Our driver was punctual and professional, so we arrived at the palace comfortable and ready for the afternoon. You can't visit Emirates Palace without sampling their specialty cappuccino topped with real 24-karat gold flakes. It is a breathtaking sight and a distinctive Abu Dhabi experience.
What stood out was how the staff observed our preference; they noticed my fiance preferred herbal tea over black tea and bought out a whole selection of loose leaf options to try. It is quite pricey, but for special occasion with your partner, it's worth it.
From the moment we arrived, everything felt elegant but still comfortable. We glad our guide was with us he was super helpful explaining the palace, the traditions behind the tea, and the little things we would've totally missed on our own.
Beautiful place, majestic hallway. But that’s where it ends! The exterior Palace and gardens are phenomenal, unfortunately the interior setting makes you feel like your sat in mall. No view or windows to look out onto which would have been more like the burj, to us it’s misplaced. We wernt overly impressed with the afternoon t either, slightly overpriced and ordinary, I can only compare it to a uk poor mamma Doreen’s . Sadly we won’t go back as it’s not for us but this is only our POV.
Good service. Good food, too bad seating inside looking like a hallway with no view . Tea selection was great. Worth the $$ no. Been to others around the world a had better food and a lot less money
An amazing experience to celebrate my special birthday! Excellent value for money, outstanding service and an unforgettable experience. Have recommended this to many others already! Phyu was attentive, not pushy and gave us plenty of time to fully enjoy the experience. We left incredibly full. Thank you so much! Would definitely do it again.
This was a wonderful tea experience. Our waiter, Dino was very attentive and explained everything very clearly. We were able to have 3 different types of tea each and enjoy the famous coffee served with gold flakes with our dessert selection. The food was tasty and plentiful. There was live music and the hotel was decorated beautifully. The large Christmas tree was very special. I have had tea at the Waldorf in NYC and the Plaza. This was much more special and served in a much more comfortable area. Also at $82.00 each this was a good value. And lastly, Dino’s kindness and welcoming attitude made it a truly memorable day.
My mother and I recently visited the Emirates Palace Private Afternoon Tea, organized by Sougat Tourism, and it was an absolutely delightful experience that we will always cherish The food was the highlight of our visit. Every item on the menu was incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented. From the perfectly brewed teas to the delicious finger sandwiches, warm scones, and exquisite desserts, everything was a treat to the taste buds. My mother couldn’t stop praising how well-prepared and tasty everything was.
My mother was particularly impressed by the efficiency and fast service provided by the team. They were attentive and ensured everything went smoothly. While the food was good, it was more on the standard side, but the overall experience, especially the service, made up for it. Thank you to Sougat Tourism for a well-organized outing. My mother and I truly appreciated the great hospitality
I had the pleasure of experiencing The Emirates Palace Private Afternoon Tea in Abu Dhabi with my nephew, arranged through Sougat Tourism, and it exceeded all expectations. The atmosphere was both grand and peaceful, providing the perfect setting for a relaxing afternoon. The tea and food offerings were not only delicious but also incredibly generous in quantity – we were pleasantly surprised by how much was included! Every item was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
My wife and I had the pleasure of visiting the Emirates Palace Private Afternoon Tea, organized by Sougat Tourism, and it was a truly delightful experience. The food was undoubtedly the highlight of the visit. Every dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and exceeded our expectations. My wife absolutely loved the culinary offerings and couldn’t stop praising the quality and taste. The tea, while good, was fairly standard, but the excellent food more than made up for it.

Me and my wife enjoys alot Thanks for all the arrangements soughat tourism and their team and specially thanks their Tour guide ❤😍
The atmosphere and setting is excellent. The food is high quality but we found it a little bit rich and there wasn’t enough savoury items.
From the moment we walked into the hotel it was WOW, from the interior design to the server’s uniforms I loved the ambiance. But the high tea was amazing, it was one of those experiences I will never forget. The food was divine but the whole theatrics just made it above and beyond. I wish I remembered the staff names as they bent over backwards for us. From the tea recommendations- not your old English black stuff but most delicious, refreshing fruit teas - to the performance of the serving. We booked via email and paid via a link. We were on a cruise and the ship was charging approx 250$ for it - we got a cab there we paid about 52€ pp for the high tea and all was included, including bottled water. It was around Christmas so the hotel was beautifully decorated. A must for everyone. Loved it!
The views are amazing… great service… good food.. staffs are very cooperative and helpful…. I strongly recommend this portal for the best service
It was beautiful & majestic! Amazing experience. The Staffs were so kind, helpful & polite. Even assisted us to charge our phones when our batteries were going flat.
Great table, fantastic customer service, and superb food quality. The best tea and pastries I ever had. I recommend staying from the afternoon to the night because the views and photos are incredible!!
It was a fantastic experience with a great service and top top quality The best that we have ever experienced
It's too expensive! I was charged double the regular price. Since it wasn't crowded, I recommend making a reservation directly with the hotel.
Yesterday, 4 of us had afternoon tea at Emirates Palace. We had previously visited there 3 years ago, and loved every minute of it. This time, it was sadly lacking, in all areas! We waited almost 1 hour for food of any kind, had luke warm tea beforehand, which they never topped up, unless you made a point of getting up to go ask them, and then they brought out these horrible mushroom & cheese, and lobster and smoked salmon mini sandwiches...too spicy and horrible to eat. The blueberry infused tea they gave us was lovely though, but that was the only highlight. We kept asking for the usual afternoon tea fare of scones and finger sandwiches, clodded cream, etc, but it was 2 hours later before it finally appeared on our table! There were no tiers of food, like a proper English tea, and each plate could not fit on our table, so our plates were on the floor! Honestly, the whole experience was so miserable, we will never go back for afternoon tea there again!! A truly sad and disappointing afternoon!!
This is a lovely experience and one I recommend. My driver was respectful and timely, and the staff at the Cafe were very pleasant. The only reason I gave this four stars is because it is a bit overpriced.
I really liked the place and all the very friendly staff. Its delicious desserts and varieties fascinated me. I would definitely return. ❤️🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
The view was magnificent, the savories of excellent quality and the sweets also excellent we would like to particularly thank khincho lwin who accompanied us throughout the afternoon tea, I specify I did not know what it represented and throughout the different flavors we taste and appreciate both the decor and the dishes. Many thanks for the talent of the cooks.
...a fantastic experience, pure luxury, food and drinks of the highest standard including Gold Cappuccino, super friendly service from Phyu, Shelanie, Ana and Chef Kama!
