This safari was one of the best experiences we have ever had! Our guide Basith was great, very professional, expert, and kind, and everything was perfect! Basith drove us through the desert, up and down the dunes, we could enjoy amazing views, see the sunset and sunrise from the top of a dune looking at the desert (beautiful!), have delicious dinner and breakfast (all food was fresh and so tasty, we really liked the barbecue!), admire the night sky full of starts sitting close to a bonfire, and sleep in a tent in the middle of the desert. Also our 3-year-old daughter had wonderful time, Basith made everything perfet also for her! Thank you so much Basith and Liwa Adventure Tours & Safari for this unforgettable experience! Really really recommend!

This experience is up there as one of the best I've ever done. It was a solo tour, just me and my guide Basith. He was AMAZING - I was so impressed at his skill driving on the dunes, some the height of a 30 story building with an incline that felt almost vertical. We stopped at an oasis and met the man there who offered us sweet tea and dates under the palm trees. From there on to a great spot to watch the sun go down. Then we drove on to a sheltered spot where Basrith set up the camp, set the table and started the BBQ. Dinner was delicious. I lay on the ground until about 2am just watching the stars. No light pollution here! I saw several shooting stars which made it even more special. Next day we stopped at a camel farm on the way back to the city. If you're doing a layover I highly recommend this tour - you'll come away with some very special wonderful memories and amazing photos. I even caught a glimpse of a desert fox, but sadly no photos of it.

We had a wonderful time with Basith, the driver of Liwa Adventure, he is a real pro in terms of driving in the desert, the material for the camping was like new, so clean! The food was more than plenty and delicious. All my requirements were full filled and I will definitely recommend him to all my friends in Dubai. Our guide was very kind and a good driver. We saw a lot of different landscapes (dunes, oasis , gazelles. Camel farm). The camp was five stars ! I recommend!!

We did the Liwa overnight safari early January 2024. After having driven through the same dunes on our own 15 years ago during when when we were based in the UAE, we wanted to show this unique place and share the desert experience with our children (12y and 14y). Coming this time as tourists, we had no choice but to use the services of a local agency. We must say we got exactly what we came for: a genuine 24 hours tour across Liwa we’ll never forget. Ref equipment and comfort we could not expect more; tents, mattresses, chairs, quantity and quality of food, fire at night under the stars,… nothing was missing. But it takes an orchestra conductor to put the score into music. Basith is the (brilliant) one. His 20 years experience allows him to go on his own in the dunes, so we were completely alone, not in a convoy of several cars. Upon demand , he had a sporty approach for the kids going up and down the dunes to have or a smooth one when we wanted to enjoy and relax. Basith has a perfect reading of the dunes so he could take us at the top of the Liwa dunes for the sunset. At the camp, Basith did almost, if not all. While the kids preferred to go sandboarding and were admiring the sunset, he was kind enough to set up all tents, prepare all the meals. I tell you…. 5 stars service !! we could not expect more than what Liwa Adventures and Safari arranged for us. I wish many of you can enjoy the same experience. We’ll definitely come back.

Best tour, a real experience into the desert. The private tour really worth,. Ibrahim was extremely kind and professional. We discover the real dune bashing in the deep desert. Dinner and breakfast were yummy and fresh, and Ibrahim is a good chef. Tent and sleeping stuff were comfortable and the sound of desert was unique. We recommend the us experience and Ibrahim as driver.

Fantastic overnight camping experience in Liwa with our guide Ibrahim. He is an expert desert driver and we did a funny 2 hours driving in the dunes. There was plenty of delicious food for dinner(bbq) and breakfast. Very nice experience! Raccomended!

Liwa overnight safari was perfect from the pick up until the drop off!! Ibrahim with his great driving skills, organization talent and know how took care of us during this adventure. We had an outstanding tour and would recommend it to everyone! During the tour Ibrahim not only informed us about the life in the desert but let us experience the incredible dune bashing as well. We stop for a lunch break at Liwa Oasis and saw the most beautiful sunset at Moreeb Dune, after a nice dinner around the campfire and a good sleep in the tent we have been driven back safely to our hotel the next day. We booked a private tour and it was AMAZING! Our guide Ibrahim was outstanding! He explaned a lot to us about living in the desert. His car was fully loaded with camping gear and he took care of every thing! His riding skills were very good and also his orientation. You can fully rely on this man!! The Desert Safari including the overnight stay with Liwa Adventure tours and safari was really amazing. The package was including the overnight stay in the desert in tents along with the following day breakfast. We were lucky to have Basith as our guide as he was quite helpful and enthusiastic in guiding us throughout the trip. We had a wonderful drive through the desert and we also stopped at a couple of places to visit the camel farm and also the oasis. The best experience about this trip was the overnight stay with bonfire, BBQ and the desert night life ambience. We were provided with sleeping air mattresses and felt very comfy. The hospitality provided by the Liwa team were very nice and especially the crew were very friendly. The next day when we woke up the breakfast was ready. After having breakfast, we started our journey back. Basith had also helped us to take us photos and to capture this wonderful experience during our journey through desert. I give Liwa adventures a great rating because of the wonderful experience which they provide to their customers. Hope to come back again in the future to relive it once again.

Finalmente un’esperienza nel deserto che ci ha davvero conquistati! Non la solita escursione organizzata con spettacoli, musica e cena a buffet, ma qualcosa di completamente diverso: un’esperienza autentica, di quelle in cui il deserto non ti limiti a guardarlo, ma lo vivi davvero! La nostra guida, Basit, è stata fantastica! Un ragazzo gentile, disponibile, preparato e soprattutto appassionato del suo lavoro, che durante tutta l’esperienza ci ha raccontato tante curiosità sul posto. Siamo partiti visitando un’oasi, dove abbiamo assaggiato datteri appena raccolti, poi siamo andati a conoscere i cammelli in una fattoria. E dopo guida estrema sulle dune con la jeep! Un vero parco avventure tra salite, discese e soste in alcuni punti panoramici davvero incredibili. Ma il bello doveva ancora arrivare! La parte più emozionante è stata cercare, insieme a Basit, il posto perfetto dove trascorrere la notte. Perché sì, avremmo dormito proprio in mezzo al nulla, circondati soltanto dalla sabbia e dal silenzio del deserto. Basit ha montato una tenda e preparato tutto per la notte: materasso gonfiabile, sacchi a pelo e persino cuscini comodissimi che profumavano ancora di ammorbidente, piccoli dettagli che non ti aspetteresti di trovare nel bel mezzo del deserto! Poi una bella cena preparata al barbecue, con carne, verdure e riso, mangiata sotto il cielo che lentamente si riempiva di stelle. ci siamo lavati i denti con una semplice bottiglietta d’acqua, proprio lì, in mezzo alle dune. Abbiamo ammirato il tramonto, trascorso la notte nel silenzio più totale e, al mattino, ci siamo goduti la colazione e l’alba… il momento in cui la sabbia diventa calda alle prime luci. è difficile raccontare a parole la bellezza di un’esperienza così. Non servono spettacoli o grandi strutture: a volte bastano un fuoco acceso, una tenda, un cielo stellato e il silenzio infinito del deserto. Un’esperienza vera, diversa dal solito che consigliamo a tutti! Un grazie speciale a Basit, che con la sua gentilezza, organizzazione e passione ha reso tutto ancora più bello. Se cercate qualcosa di autentico e volete vivere davvero il deserto, questa esperienza è assolutamente consigliata!

Great experience with Basith as a guide. Beautiful places away from everything, excellent food, guide to little care for us. We even had our little sandstorm 😁. Too bad it only lasted 24 hours...

We booked a weekend with Basith which will remain among our most beautiful discoveries. Our driver Salam picked us up at home: super convenient! We visited a camel farm, performed dune bashing (super chauffeur) , after a break in an oasis we were able to enjoy a superb sunset in the dunes of Liwa followed by a meal prepared by our hosts. The sunrise in the dunes of Liwa is an unforgettable sight. We recommend liwa adventures for your desert outings. Welcoming, listening to our needs Salam and Basith were at the top!

Incredible memory of the excursion and night in the Liwa desert. The knowledge, mastery and kindness of the guide are impeccable. The desert in 4X4 - a bashing dune - on steep dunes safely is very impressive. We liked the oasis and its caretaker. The typical dinner, the Sheesha and the night spent as a couple, with excellent Service from Basith, will forever be remembered. We would have gone back the next day:-) Recommend without any hesitation Ah, I forgot: we don't speak English but we could communicate with the guide, exciting.
