Abu Dhabi Morning Desert Safari

Did the desert sunrise tour with dune bashing, camel ride, sandboarding, and breakfast at the bedouin camp. Our tour guide Aziz was amazing, very attentive, friendly, a great photographer(!), and offered an excellent dune bashing drive! We have so many amazing photos from the sunrise and had so many lovely experiences. A morning to remember!

Our guide/driver Aziz was very friendly. He was on time to pick us from our hotel. Ride on the dunes was unforgettable experience. Morning in the desert is beutifull and peacefull. Views are amazing. Aziz took so many beautifull fotos so we have memories for lifetime.

Travelled with family to the desert with Aziz. He picked us up from our hotel exactly on time, and drove us out to the desert. He was a great driver, and we had an amazing time driving over the dunes. He is also a really good photographer and took excellent pictures of me and my sister. The camel farm and sand boarding were also highlights! We were back in Abu Dhabi in time for lunch, so this trip is perfect if you do not have a full day to go to the desert. I would definitely recommend Aziz to anyone who visits Abu Dhabi!

We had the best dune driver! The dune bashing was amazing! And he shot a lot of awesome pictures from us. For the camp experience morning tour is to hot.

Aziz made this experience so much fun! The trip to the desert after he picked us up was great! We listened to music and chatted the entire way. Once we got to the dunes, it was full on! That experience was better than any roller coaster ride!! Such an adrenaline rush! He stopped for photos and then we went to a camel farm! We were even able to feed some of the camels and we posed for pics. After the camel farm, we went to the campsite to do some sand sledding and we rode a camel! I definitely recommend this safari! The most remarkable was high speed driving through the desert and admiring fantastic landscapes with yellow sand. We were lucky to see a new-born camel at the camel farm. The driver was very professional and friendly.

We enjoyed a very memorable morning dune bashing with our excellent driver Majeeb. Not only was he was a skilled driver but he was professional, and provided very useful information.

This is not a trip for those who get motion sickness. I wish there had been some sort of disclaimer. I felt sick and told the driver to slow down on the dunes, he continued and then I actually got sick. He still continued in the dunes after I vomited. I was unable to participate in the rest of the activities. We were also told it was too hot to sand board. This tour seemed sketchy, nothing official about it. A random person picks you up in an unmarked vehicle and drives you to the desert. Not worth the money at all. Also, the customer service is terrible.

We were lucky enough to have the driver called Nife. The Dune riding was amazing, fun and also exciting!

The tour was a very nice experience I was picked up at my accommodation punctually and my driver and guide NOUSHAD drove for around one hour to reach the desert area. Once arrived around the desert area first we saw from far an orix farm, which is the national animal of UAE and then we stopped at a camel farm, where I was able to take nice pictures. Then, we headed to the desert dunes where we did some dune bashing, which is entertaining and safe. Subsequently, we visited a desert camp where I could take pictures with traditional cloths, ride a camel, drive a quad and do some sand boarding. I was also offered some water and tea. The tour was really cool and provided a complete desert experience; my driver and guide NOUSHAD was very professional, but also informal and personable; Everything was according to the description of the tour provided in advance and up to my expectations.

I booked this and then they texted and called me and tried to get extra money. They said it was due to Covid and they wanted to make it a private tour rather then 6 per car. I think it was just they couldn’t find enough people to fill a vehicle. They ended up cancelling and refunding but I almost lost a precious day. Thank goodness Oscar Knight tours was able to get me in. They provided an amazing experience.

We had a fantastic tour through the desert including, watching the astonishin sunrise, visiting camel farm, camel riding, quad driving, sandboarding, dune bashing and a really good breakfast with traditional food. Our driver Noushad was excellent!!! Thank you!

Very nice tour in a small group with 4 persons, got picked up at the hotel in time with a Toyata 4WD. Very nice and experienced driver, Muhammed. Ride to the desert, camel riding, dune bashing, coffee, back home. Just as we booked, no BBQ, belly dance or the like, perfect start in the day.

our Tour guide was Yousif. He was great! We had a 15 month baby with us and although I was a bit worried about the bashing, he was reassuring and probably a bit gentle. He was super nice and we felt safe.Loved seeing the camels and the camp providing breakfast had very nice staff. Overall we recommend this trip for families

This tour was one of the best thing we did in Abu Dhabi, we really enjoyed it and Abdul was driving really really good at the desert we felt exited. The camels were amazing and the day Wonderfull. Thanks for the experience!!

Yusaf our desert safari driver was brilliant. He was polite, well mannered, very accommodating and great with children. He made the experience of a safari fun and safe! He took into account we had young kids and made sure everyone had fun. Definitely worth doing !! Thanks again

We had a great desert safari and would recommend it anytime! There was an incredible amount on offer – from an exciting drive through the dunes to great photo stops and a very nice camp with delicious food. We would like to emphasize particularly positively that our 19-month-old daughter was also considered at all times. This made the tour very relaxing and enjoyable for us as a family. A big thank you to Aziz! You can really tell he’s been there for 15 years – very professional, attentive and a great driver. We felt safe and comfortable at all times.

We booked the desert tour at dawn with pick up at the airport and drop off at the hotel. We had a great time with Aziz who was our driver. Experience on the adrenaline dunes but very feasible, short camel ride, photos, sandboarding and rich breakfast.

Apart from the rather heavy delay in picking up at the hotel, of which however I was promptly informed, it was a great experience. Being July and being morning, it was clear that the temperatures were high and therefore the stay outdoors couldn't be long but my son (14 years old) was very happy about it. Karan was an attentive, precise and punctual driver, my heartfelt thanks for the attention he paid to the young shoot.

Sehr schönes Erlebnis. Der Guide war lasse. Hat uns auch viele Informationen gegeben. Kamelfarm war nicht so besonders. Sandboarding war sehr lustig. Wir hatten die Tour am Vormittag da war der Sand noch nicht so heiß.

Fun assured on the dunes with the Land Cruiser v8, excellent driving and never had a feeling of danger, too bad for the fog that after a while fortunately has cleared, fun sandboarding, camel ride uninteresting as very short and just to take a picture, I prefer excursions from point A to point B. For the price it costs, recommended excursion.
