This was the best use of our layover time in Abu Dhabi. Our guide Farhan was great at communicating ahead of our arrival. He showed up on time to pick us up and really optimized our short time together. We enjoyed leaning about the history of UAE from him and about the current state of the country. Our driver, Shehzad, was fantastic! He communicated in advance letting us know exactly when and where to meet, responded right away, and when he arrived he drove us around Abu Dhabi where we wanted to go over layover. He stayed around the area so he was ready to pick us up at a moments notice. He also provided so much cultural information about the country that we learned so much. He was a fantastic driver and person and we will definitely ask for him again if we travel to Dubai or Abu Dhabi again!

This is really the perfect layover tour especially for a family with small kids. Our Tour guide Rajesh started communicating with us a day prior to our arrival in Abu Dhabi. On the day of, he provided clear instructions on pick up point and even picked us up a little earlier than planned when we told him we were ready. He arrived in a clean, spacious and air conditioned car and offered water through the day. Rajesh was professional, kind and very patient. He coordinated the tour in a way that we were able to visit all the must see places of the city, take photos, grab lunch and make it back to the airport on time to catch our next flight. Rajesh has a fun and interactive way of sharing information of the city , he got us all engaged even our 5 years old, we learned a lot. In addition he takes amazing photos. 10/10 recommend him.

I had a long layover in Abu Dhabi and really wanted to make the most of it instead of staying at the airport for the whole time. This was the perfect way to do just that. Khalid was a wonderful guide with a profound love of the city that you could really feel. We covered a lot of ground and he explained the history of many of the sites that we drove by and answered a ton of my questions. Khalid was like a local celebrity. Almost everywhere we went, people knew him. We made multiple stops at important places, had a wonderful lunch, and even got to see some cars doing test runs on the F1 track. I got back to the airport with plenty of time to catch my flight while still feeling like I got a full day of culture. Really a perfect way to get a quick feel of a city without having the stress of dealing with transportation. Definitely recommend for anyone transiting through Abu Dhabi.

Excellent day tour from Dubai to Abu Dabi if you want to see the mosque, palace, heritage center and market. Hafiz was punctual, professional and super helpful, teaching us the sights and significance of the history of the UAE and its development and heritage as we buzzed from Dubai to Abu Dabi and back. Your guide will not join you in the mosque, which was completely fine, we came prepared. He did join us for the palace and even took pictures for us. Highly recommend for engaged teenagers who are interested in culture and the sights.

The layover tour was great. Hafiz was very friendly & knowledgeable about the attractions of Abu Dhabi & the emirates history. The mosque & palaces were worth visiting & I really enjoyed the traditional village. It was just a quick look around so I hope to return to take in some more sights.
We had an 8.5-hour layover in Abu Dhabi and it turned into one of the most beautiful and memorable days of our trip, all thanks to Khalid. The city itself is absolutely stunning — spotless, elegant, and full of breathtaking architecture and culture — and Khalid brought it all to life for us. He was extremely punctual, warm, and knowledgeable, with excellent English. Every stop felt special, and by the end of the day we truly felt like we were spending time with family. I am rating a five star only because of our tour guide- Abdul. Not only he was knowledgeable and professional, he was kind and considerate to understand and work according to us as a family considering we were travelling with a toddler. Although the time for the tour is short as visiting the mosque itself will take around 3 hrs of the tour, but still we could manage quick stopovers and ticked most of the spots including Emirates palace, dates market, Corniche. We skipped the Heritage Village as we were very tired after our early morning flight and walking at the mosque, but eventually we got refreshed towards the last few spots that was formula one circuit and then Ferrari World from the outside. We personally felt the tour will be better if there are fewer spots and ample time to visit the spots properly rather than just moving around in a car and ticking boxes. Overall a nice experience and will surely recommend tour guide Abdul for anyone planning to visit and book the tour. Only the mosque access ticket was included and the all other spots are free or one can visit from the outside or pay for the ticket and extra time.

However I suggest the company reach out to us about our guide versus me the customer having to track down his contact info at 10pm the night prior. In addition, I suggest a sign when picking us up with either our name or the company name. Wow, this was the best tour in Dubai. Umer, our tour guide was amazing. He was prompt and very accommodating to my family needs. He made the tour great with his vast knowledge of the UAE. When I return, he is the only one that I want taking my family around. My family saw and experience more than we could image. This tour is a must if you are looking for a one on one experience. The communication prior to pick up was always on going. We never had to worry about what happens next.

Great experience with Khalid on our 4 hour tour during our 7 hour layover in Abu Dhabi . Saw all the main sites in the exact required time. Got a good sense of the growing city and all the amazing developments. Khalid has a very good attitude and was knowledgeable and able to answer questions we had and give a sense of living there.

I cannot recommend this experience. I paid approximately USD 199 as a solo traveller during an 8-hour layover in Abu Dhabi. I chose this tour primarily for its advertised flexibility with airport pickup timing. Places visited: - Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque ~1h - Emirates Palace ~30min - Heritage Village ~20 min - Dates Market ~10 min Photo stops / drive-by: - Etihad Towers Pros: - Flexible pickup timing: My outbound flight was delayed. I messaged the company via WhatsApp while in the air (~6 hours before the scheduled start). They replied about 2 hours before the tour and accommodated the change without issue. - Time management: I informed the driver/guide of my onward flight time, and he returned me to the airport with appropriate buffer time. - Attractive sights: The Grand Mosque in particular was impressive, and visiting during a quieter period was a highlight. Cons: - This may be guide-dependent. Mine pointed out many landmarks while driving, including numerous residential and commercial buildings of limited relevance (e.g. “random residential building was 95m”), rather than providing deeper commentary on key sites such as the Grand Mosque. - About halfway through the tour, the guide spent approximately 20 minutes on personal phone calls in Arabic while driving, intermittently still pointing out landmarks. This felt highly unprofessional and really took away from my experience. - The stop at the Dates Market was at a single, specific shop rather than a broader market. I was strongly encouraged to sample multiple products and felt pressured to make a purchase. I do not enjoy dates and declined, after which other items (chocolates, nuts) were promoted to me. I felt pressured to purchase something (somewhat fearing for my safety as I was a solo traveller), I ultimately purchased coffee beans that I believed were poor quality, mainly to end the interaction. In hindsight, the stop appeared to encourage purchases at a specific store rather than allow exploration of the market. During this time my tour guide stood outside chatting to his buddies. Overall, while the city itself was impressive, the experience felt transactional rather than genuinely guided. For the price paid as a solo traveller, I left feeling disappointed and would not choose this tour again.

We had a fantastic Trip to Abu Dhabi with our superb guide Khalid. He took us to many beautiful places and always gave us enough time to enjoy the sites. His knowledge about AD is amazing. Khalid also took lots of pictures from us, he always had good ideas about the best photo spots. We as a couple were by ourselves, so we Had a very private tour. We were carried around in a small van, very comfortable. Khalid also provided bottled water throughout the Trip. We had an awesome time, brilliant day trip to get familiar with AD.
