Abu Dhabi Guided Sightseeing Boat Tours

We didn't go far as Abu Dhabi is quite big, next time I would choose another route to see more of the other parts / islands

Great trip the guides were informative and fun the two guides were fun always felt safe a real wind in your hair experience

Brilliant experience! A great combination of sightseeing and having fun. We felt very safe on the boat, despite it has moved fast. We also got amazing pictures of sunset and skyscrapers.

Tour was excellent and our guide (can’t remember his name) was great and very knowledgeable about the history of Abu Dhabi. Would highly recommend.

Excellent service and experienced pilot and coordinator … we had several seniors in the group and everyone enjoyed the thrill beyond expectations. Wild Ride on open water, water acrobatics in bay water, beautiful sunset in the background, plus Dolphin sighting … could not ask for more … highly recommend 👍 The Corniche beach and high rise skyline in the evening add special background for breathtaking pictures. Carry a good string attached stabilizer, if you plan to record videos.

Fun afternoon seeing the main sites from a different perspective ie from the sea. Staff were informative, friendly and kind.

It was a lovely way to see the Abu Dhabi skyline we really enjoyed it. The trip left promptly at 5pm.

The boat tour was nice to get out of the marina and into the fresh breeze! There were a few places we couldn’t get to due to low tide and the staff did try and make up for this by going a bit further the other way so could see the palace in the distance. Staff were very friendly.

Great Views Guide needed a microphone as could not hear him that well as he was at the front and we sat at the back. Also a little bumpy but good fun and lasted an hour

This is great fun and highly recommend it. Must admit I’d done no research when I booked this tour - just assumed it would be your typical cosy boat ride with guided waffling on with lots of facts at what you’re seeing. But this was best of both worlds. You got to enjoy the scenery Abu Dhabi has to offer with the odd bit of explanation thrown in when the boat came to a stop. But you also had the thrill of the boat speeding across the water, with you getting splashed by the waves. We even saw some dolphins. Drivers/guides Sohail and Khasul (?) clearly love their job and their enthusiasm rubs off. They’re more than happy to stop the boat for lots of pictures. Sohail also arranged for cabs to come pick me and another married couple up afterwards when we weren’t sure how to get back to the city (it’s in Emirates Palace Marina so it is gated off from the main streets). Booked 99 minute premium tour at cost of around £59 (with a 10% discount online) and loved every minute.

Can’t really complain, everything went perfectly good, i was alone on the speedboat, the captain and presian took really care of me and made a fantastic job, it was pleasure to have the ride with them Thanks Guys for the Music and for the atmosphere I definitely recommend the tour especially with these guys

What an amazing ride! Really enjoyed it. Seeing Abu Dhabi by sea this way with the Yellow Boats is the ultimate experience! The Captain & Guide were very friendly & informative. The boats are awesome, new, very safe & super smooth! We'll be back again for another of the great tours on offer very soon!

From beginning to end a great fun experience. Highly recommended especially the afternoon/evening ride to see the sunset. We were looked after by Sohail and Kusun and they were both wonderfully entertaining. If you get a chance this is a must.

Very enjoyable, would definitely recommend. Trip was well organised and safety conscious. We booked the 90 minute tour which took us speedily out to sea, then back in along the coast. The guide was very knowledgeable, we stopped numerous times where he described the points of interest and where we could take pictures. It was a hot day but they were equipped with plenty of bottles of water.

That was the best way to see Abu Dhabi the capital city the 99min tour was amazing ,I enjoyed the ride and also got to learn a lot from the captain and his team they are knowledgeable with the Island in Abu Dhabi and the culture I highly recommend the tour and I am looking forward to do it again it was fun

We were in Abu Dhabi in March 2020 and took the yellow boat tour in two locations: Yas Marine - it was so great that we decided to take Emirates palace tour next day. We were lucky to to be alone in entire boat. Respect to the guides Jesus and Valentine! Those guys are amazing!

We were interested in doing a Yellow Boat tour while were in Abu Dhabi. However I usually find them overpriced, mainly because the operators get a lot of business through the Entertainer buy one get one free voucher discounts. I would have thought it would be better if companies just bought down their headline price but what do I know. However we got an online discount code if we booked direct and we did our own half price discount. The kids wanted to stay at the hotel so that knock 50% off! Once we booked online, we then researched just how to get to the Yellow Boats departure area at the Marina. Fortunately other TA reviews were helpful and we also emailed the company the day before and they replied. So with the details we received, we got a taxi to drop us off at the precise place. We were the only people booked for the afternoon trip. So we had the boat all to ourselves. Danny was the skipper and he told us in advance that the initial ride as we go out from the Marina would be rough but it will settle down. He was not kidding, it was bumpy as we went out and I was glad I did not do this first thing in the morning after breakfast. I was glad that it got less bumpy after a while as I certainly would not had fancied the whole trip like that. Danny was a gracious and a knowledgeable host talking about places of interest. We struck a good rapport as he is from the Seychelles. He took us to some nice spots to take photos and we had an extended ride. He also pointed out some dolphins that he saw. They offer two kinds of trips in Abu Dhabi. My wife did a Yellow Boat tour again in early 2020 and she did the longer trip that time. Danny remembered her from our trip.

We had previously done the yellow boat in Dubai and decided to give this one a try. There was only myself, my hubby and 1 other guy. Danny was our captain and he was great, super knowledgable and friendly, made a great few hours out for us. Stunning scenery around Yas Island, there was a bit more to see on the Dubai tour but Danny was fab and we had a great time.

Just to say Ali was amazing. He advised us it was breezy and would be bumpy and we would get wet. We all agreed to carry on, and oh he was so right. It was hair raising to say the least 😬 The trip was really informative, fast and furious and we laughed and screamed a lot; loved every minute. Thanks Ali

Valentine and Ali were brilliant hosts providing us all the information on the locations we stopped at. We were even lucky enough to see dolphins! Nothing was too much trouble and they were very helpful and always making sure we were safe and happy. Would definitely recommend *****

Valentine and Daniel were great hosts on this Abu Dhabi boat tour. They called to see if we were ok with choppy waters and were incredibly accommodating. We were very lucky and got to see a small pod of dolphins 10 minutes in too!

This tour could not be faulted. Staff- Valentine, Ali and Daniel were extremely friendly, helpful and had a great sense of humour. Very reassuring the whole way....for those who were a-bit nervous because of the conditions. Extremely enjoyable and will be doing it again! For sure!!!

This boat tour is a must do while your here. Ali the boat driver is wonderful, fantastic knowledge, excellent English and a really nice helpful guy. Thanks again Ali it was a trip we will never forget.

This was my second boat tour with the TYB and it was just as fun this time around! Jesus, our skipper, was hilarious and made us feel so welcome and safe. The views around Yas Island are breath-taking and the boat ride exhilarating! It is a great activity for everyone, be it families, couples or solo travellers! Booking the activity is very convenient and the instructions given prior to the trip are very helpful. The one piece of advice I would give is if you're getting a taxi to the marina, make sure you clarify to the driver that you want to go where the boats are and not Yas Marina Circuit (which is where our taxi driver initially took us!).

We took the one hour Corniche tour. Much better value than the Big Bus and provided a totally different perspective. 3 of us had the boat to ourselves and the captain, Ali, could not have been better. He made us feel safe and was very informative about many aspects of the emirates in general and Abu Dhabi in particular. Thoroughly recommended

Great way to view Abu Dhabi from the sea! Danny and Valentine were excellent ensuring we saw all the sights including the Fishermen’s village, the Presidential Palace, the Emirates Palace and various other sights. We got lucky as Captain Danny spotted a family of dolphins - he stopped the boat so we got really close to them. Valentine was really helpful with photography and interesting information. The boat is fast so be prepared - forget hair styles 😂 Thank you Danny and Valentine for a great trip.

Really enjoyed our morning out with Jesus. We booked and ended up being the only people onboard for our own private trip. He was very informative and attentive providing water and suggesting photo opportunities. Thank you Jesus for a wonderful boat trip!

Daniel was an awesome guide and offered opportunities to take some nice pics of the Abu Dhabi skyline. Make sure you wear layers (even in warm weather) because when the boat is speeding, it can get quite windy. We were lucky that we got to see a dolphin during the ride, it was a perfect end to the tour!

It was a fun spin around the sound with a very pleasant captain and a full boat of people. Definitely a different view of the City in a hour or so.
