When we arrived to the hotel room we noticed that our shower did not have a full curtain. As a result, our hotel bathroom kept flooding every time we showered. When asked to switch rooms for better accommodations, management merely gave us the exact same room across the hall with the same issue. Additionally, the “private” parking they offer for guests damaged our car vehicle. When asking for assistance to resolve the issue, we were met with management’s reluctance to accept responsibility and were sent off and ignored. Overall, the experience was not what we expected it to be. Management was incredibly rude, dismissive, and not accommodating. I do not recommend.

Villaggio Hotel Abu Dhabi — Value-Led Stay with Clear Modernisation Priorities Villaggio Hotel Abu Dhabi makes a pleasant first impression. Its low-rise, village-inspired layout is a welcome contrast to the more anonymous high-rise hotel experience found elsewhere in the city. The public areas, greenery and resort-style concept create a relaxed atmosphere, and the property feels more spacious and less congested than many centrally located alternatives. Item Verified context Original hotel The property opened in as the four-star One to One Hotel – The Village, the first hotel of the then-new One to One Hotels Current brand Very Good Value, Strong Gym, but Targeted Refurbishment Is Needed Villaggio Hotel Abu Dhabi makes a pleasant first impression. The low-rise, village-style layout, greenery and relaxed atmosphere offer a welcome alternative to a standard city hotel. At the rate I paid in August 2026—approximately €30–50 per night, depending on length of stay—the hotel is very good value. At this price point, I would rate it 4/5 for value. At significantly higher rates, however, the age of the rooms and parts of the spa area would place the experience closer to 3+ out of 5 until refurbishment work is completed. The gym is a real strength: it is unusually large and well equipped. However, the floor needs urgent attention. It felt insufficiently grippy and should be checked and maintained with an appropriate fitness-floor cleaning product. The pool is pleasant but relatively small compared with the gym. In peak summer, the water did not feel cooled, so it was not as refreshing as expected in Abu Dhabi’s heat. The spa offered excellent value. A 90-minute sports massage at approximately €63 was very competitively priced, and the staff made a helpful recommendation. The main weakness was the relaxation area: crackling speakers disrupted the atmosphere and should be replaced. Overall, this is a good-value hotel with a likeable concept and clear potential. Focused upgrades to rooms, spa details, gym-floor maintenance, pool temperature management and the sound system would noticeably strengthen the guest experience.
I go there for breakfast whenever my mom visits abu dhabi, the atmosphere, the food, the music…all on point. There’s one server called abu baker i think. Super nice and friendly just wanted to mention it cause he was noticeably so kinddd. All servers there are. This place reminds me of going to visit your neighbor in the morning to gossip over a cup of coffee 🤣 love it!
We recently booked 3 rooms at Villaggio Hotel for a family gathering and lunch, hoping to enjoy a relaxing time together with our family and kids. Since we booked multiple rooms under one family, we requested connecting rooms in advance. We understood when we were informed that connecting rooms were unavailable, but we were hoping the hotel could at least provide nearby rooms for convenience, especially because we had children with us. Unfortunately, the rooms assigned to us were very far from each other, making it extremely difficult for the family to move around and coordinate throughout the day. What made it even more inconvenient was that all 3 rooms were located on the top floors of different villas. Going back and forth between separate buildings and stairs with children and family members was exhausting and stressful. What made the experience even more disappointing was the way the reception staff handled the situation. The receptionist assigned that day did not know how to properly communicate with guests and lacked professionalism in handling customer concerns. We understand that guests can sometimes become frustrated or demanding, especially during family gatherings, but properly trained staff should know how to respond calmly, respectfully, and professionally to help ease the situation. Unfortunately, we did not experience that kind of hospitality. Instead of feeling welcomed and assisted, we felt dismissed and even more stressed because of the poor communication and lack of consideration for our family setup. We were not asking for anything unreasonable — we simply hoped for rooms closer together to make things easier for our family gathering. The hotel itself has potential, but customer service and guest accommodation, especially for families booking multiple rooms, seriously need improvement. We hope management takes feedback like this seriously and provides better customer service training for their reception staff to ensure future guests have a more pleasant and comfortable experience.
This was our first time staying here, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. A huge thank you to the Front Office Manager, Mr. Mohammed, who provided top-tier service from the initial telephone booking all the way through to a smooth check-in and final checkout. He personally ensured our comfort throughout the entire stay and set a wonderful tone for our visit. Our rooms were very nice and clean, so kudos to the Housekeeping Manager, Mr. Arshad, and his hardworking housekeeping staff for their incredible attention to detail. Mr. Arshad was extremely helpful and made sure everything was perfect for us as first-time guests. Both Mr. Mohammed and Mr. Arshad are true professionals who made our stay memorable. I truly hope the hotel management sees this and highly commends these two gentlemen for their outstanding dedication to guest satisfaction.
