Very Disappointing Experience at Ramada Downtown Abu Dhabi – 20 October 2026 I had a very disappointing experience at Ramada Downtown Abu Dhabi involving the hotel manager, Mr. Mustafa Zeith, who refused to allow me access to my friend’s room because I did not have my physical Emirates ID with me, despite having my Emirates ID available digitally through TAMM and a photo of the ID. What was particularly frustrating was the manager’s disrespectful attitude and lack of willingness to assist or handle the situation professionally. I understand that hotels have security procedures, but visitors should be treated with courtesy, respect, and professionalism. Rather than communicating respectfully and explaining the requirements clearly, Mr. Mustafa Zeith handled the situation in a way that made me feel unwelcome and disrespected. This is not the level of hospitality I would expect from a hotel manager. I believe a manager should be able to handle such situations calmly, respectfully, and professionally while following the hotel’s policies. I strongly encourage the hotel’s management to review this incident and address the way visitors are treated. Hospitality, respect, and professional communication should be fundamental standards at any hotel. Unfortunately, this experience left me with a very negative impression of Ramada Downtown Abu Dhabi.

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the past few years, including a full week on our recent visit, and every stay has left us with a wonderful impression. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. One particularly memorable experience was when we accidentally left a backpack on a sofa near reception containing important documents, a laptop, and $25,000 in cash. When we realized it was missing and returned, we were relieved to find everything exactly as we had left it! A very positive experience overall. Highly recommended!
Excellent service .. the room was spacious... We were recommended the wheelchair accessible room which was convenient but one feedback I'd like to make about the accessibility inside the bathroom. The towel were placed too far from the bathing space so one would have to actually walk to the area to get them. Towel hanging rods should be nearer to the bath area. Also, the body shower was placed next to the hand wash beside the basin/washing area as opposed to the bathing area and once again... One had to go to the washbasin to get it as it was fixed there. Theres always a chance of falling due to wet surface. The rest of the experience was great... With great room service... Delicious breakfast with a wide array of food, amazing staff from the front desk, security, and valet
I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment and outrage regarding a deeply upsetting experience my group and I had at the Thai Rooftop Bar at Ramada Downtown Abu Dhabi during a recent event. We visited your venue expecting a hospitality experience fitting for a 4-star hotel. We ordered multiple food items and beverages and were thoroughly enjoying our time. Due to a personal matter, I had to briefly step outside, so I settled our bill in advance. To our absolute shock, immediately after the bill was paid, the Outlet Manager, Mr. Remy, along with Security Guard Saparon, & other security guard forced us to leave the premises. They claimed they needed to clear our table for other incoming guests. While I understand that the restaurant was busy, forcefully kicking out paying customers who were actively enjoying their event is completely unacceptable and breaches basic hospitality standards. In fact, we were fully intending to order and consume additional items, but we were stripped of that opportunity by this disgraceful behavior. A 4-star establishment should never handle space management by abruptly ejecting existing guests the moment their bill is settled. The customer service displayed by Mr. Remy and Security Guard Saparon & other security guard were well below acceptable standards. They demonstrated a total lack of customer care, professionalism, and basic communication skills, giving the clear impression that your establishment solely prioritizes quick money over guest loyalty and satisfaction. This experience was deeply humiliating and unacceptable. I expect a prompt explanation and appropriate action regarding this matter, as no guest should ever be treated in such a degrading manner.
Had a wonderful breakfast at Ramada by Wyndham Abu Dhabi. The food was great, and the service made the experience even better. A special thanks to Mr. Imran, Mr. Babar, and Sabita for their warm hospitality, politeness, and attentive service. They were always friendly, helpful, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Their excellent customer service is truly appreciated. Highly recommended!
