The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented and consistently excellent. Another unforgettable stay and this time there were tears at check-out We’ve been lucky enough to stay at Al Wathba before, but this visit was truly something special. I couldn’t have imagined a better way to spend my birthday than at this gorgeous place, surrounded by the team who make it feel like heaven on earth. We hadn’t travelled all summer, so after a long, hot season at home with the children, this was without doubt the highlight of our 2026 summer. Himanshu in reservations went above and beyond to coordinate and organise our group booking. Kings and Bea at reception made sure we had beautiful rooms all together. I’d left something behind on my last trip, and Ahmad and Prakash personally ensured it was returned to me :) It was also lovely to see the fabulous JJ and Thin Thin, and Chef Lorena, at Terra Secca who continuously go above and beyond. And a special mention to Shubham at the pool bar, the most wonderful service, a beautiful smile, and nothing was ever too much, despite working outside in the heat all day. The whole team should be so proud, and management even prouder of them. This stay touched my heart more than words can say. Thank you for the best birthday, for all the special touches, and for going above and beyond for us… it was so deeply appreciated
We had a wonderful family staycation at Al Wathba Resort and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The resort's isolated location is one of its biggest advantages, as it allows you to disconnect completely from busy city life. The approach to the resort is also beautiful and unique, with approximately 1 km of greenery and trees along the access road, followed by stunning desert and mountain views. The property itself is beautifully designed, with all the main amenities within comfortable walking distance. There is also a buggy service available for those who prefer not to walk. Our children particularly enjoyed visiting and viewing the equestrian stables, which added a unique and memorable experience to our stay. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and courteous, and they made our stay very comfortable. A special mention to the front desk team, who generously upgraded our room and also accommodated our request for a late checkout. The food was delicious, and the swimming pool is beautifully and luxuriously designed. At 60 metres long, it is a fantastic feature of the resort. We would like to thank all the staff members for their warm hospitality and for making our family holiday so special. Overall, it was an excellent family getaway, and we would definitely recommend Al Wathba Resort. 10/10!
A truly beautiful hotel set in the most stunning surroundings. We had the most wonderful weekend staycation at Al Wathba. The service was brilliant, and the food was outstanding. We spent our day relaxing by the pool and particularly enjoyed the swim-up bar. The staff were warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to take care of you. Our room was beautifully appointed, and the breakfast spread in the morning was an absolute feast. A perfect escape, and we can’t wait to return.
A great desert hotel with wonderful service!! I’m only giving it 4 stars because we had a small issue with wasps and hornets around the outdoor area of our room (and in other parts of the hotel too), which unfortunately kept us from enjoying the place to the fullest, because the property itself is really great. Like I said, the service here is amazing, definitely one of the hotel’s strongest points. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome! The pool staff, the team at Terra Secca restaurant, the reception staff, even the guy who came to spray the outdoor area of our room, everyone was super friendly and helpful. We stayed during the week and the hotel was very empty, which felt a little strange. But for obvious reasons, the political instability in the region and the beginning of summer have kept visitors away. On one hand, it was nice because everything felt peaceful and quiet, but on the other hand, it was odd being almost alone in such a large hotel. We barely saw other guests… Still, the hotel is really good, with excellent facilities, outstanding service and a restaurant serving delicious food. So we truly wish them all the best! Maybe one day we’ll come back, that would be lovely :)
